When you check, you dont see anything.

BUt after several ghost update, I finally got PPR today

upfront Medical: October 25

Ppr and bvl came January 10th.

Not only that, she will need to apply for her student visa outside of canada. Meaning it will be wise for her to return back to Nigeria and do the student permit application.

Yes, she can apply while in Canada but let her bear in mind she would need to leave Canada before the visiting visa expires.

Needed to clarify. Do you mean Plagiarism in letter writing. I agree that plagiarism is big offence, but not sure if that applies to every write-up.

I havent see where one can do reference on a letter.

But what is wrong is taking someone's content without acknowledging the source of your post, this is how plagiarism starts..

It's better you correct it now , so it won't put you in trouble later when you get to Canada.

Plagiarism is a big offense in developed countries..

My application was 15th May Applicant. I did upfront medical.
I now noticed last week ghost update and also got information from my account officer CIC called the bank.

Couple of days ago, I posted here that I noticed Ghost update on my file. Its seems CIC serious oo. They called my bank/ Access Bank to verify my fund.

Thanks for clarifying. Lets hope for something good to come out. I have completely remote classes in the 1st semester and completed my exam.

I really need something positive. As I it might be difficult to continue 2nd semester remotely. It would no longer worth it.

Ghost update means your application is currently being reviewed by assessing visa officers.

E-mails are not sent for ghost update except if there is an update on your account like i.e medical request, Request for additional document, Original Passport Request etc.

Keep hope alive and be hopeful for a positive decision.

I login todaye and notice a ghost update. but not sure when, as I didnt get any mail.

First sememter is almost done and nothing from IRCC. Who has clue on what to do next. School already asking to submit student permit as its almost time to start registering for the next semester.

Any MAY applicant here. Seems IRCC is doing nothing to those application. I have use MP and nothing is happening .

We are trying to get a lawyer.

That is the issue here. She actually got a letter from school for 1 year break.

Also her pregnacy was a very hard one. it has high BP suring the pregnancy and need some rest.

She should have gotten an authorised study break from her university, so that it won’t affect her extension. But how could she not have gotten 30 credits out of 60? Because I suppose she had one year permit which requires renewal to continue. Was she already heavily pregnant in her first semester?

As the case is, I advise she gets a lawyer to appeal the decision. The appeal will buy her time and she can remain in sweden and continue studying. So that even if anything, she can submit more acquired credits from her Ladok. If she leaves sweden, she may not be approved for studies because they will claim she only came to sweden to give birth and not a genuine student.
So let her try all possible means not to leave. Just my opinion

Any one knows of situation where student extension was rejected and student ask to leave student. And the reason for the student not able to meet the 22.5 credit was that the student had a baby and couldnt study that session.

I am doing this mail to inform IRCC of OXXXX upfront medical and also to let IRCC know of my vaccinated status. I will be uploading two documents to this webform - OXXX evident of Medical and my vaccination certificate. I am in Nigeria. I got admission to University of Regina for a master in Software engineering.

I applied in May 15th with no decision yet. But as part of my application I made tuition deposit of 15K CAD. And part has been used up for 3 courses I registered for during this semester - 8k CAD plus.

I have been doing 3 courses (Algebra, Calculus and Static Mechanics),not been easy though

While My Aunt who also stays in lagos put in application for her daughter to start grade 9 in a catholic high school in Ottawa.
I also helped during that application. We put in visitor permit for her and studeny permit for the child(13years) in August 27.

Decision came in today for passport request for bothe of them. The daughter already started her classes ( Canada Geographyy and English) The plan was to start online 2 subjects and to start in person 8th of November. I initially came online Nairaland to get help or check similar case with high school applicant, but seems it was a rare application. But we went ahead to do the application ourself and itended with praise for them. Now I will wait for mine .

Yesterday, there was a ghost update- Then When i checked didnt see anything. But when I send today I saw the Original passport request letter for visitor permit for Mum and Study permit for the Child.

It doesn’t matter the country where your decison was made. Your passport will be stamped in Nigeria. If you didn’t do biometrics in abuja they have to pay a certain fee for transmission

Does it matter where Biometric was previously done. They stay in Lekki - Lagos

If we decide to use Abuja vfs . How long will this take and what is the process invole.

Now my Aunty and chidl has been fix. While my application I made in May 15, no update yet. I will have to start sending mails. To see if their could be update.

Next step for my Aunty will be faster way to send passports.

The update I noticed yesterday end up with request for passport.

Timeline:

Visitor permit for Mum August 17
Study permit for Daughter( 13years) August 17

Upfront medical for the student was done end of october

When I check my aunt account today I noticed update, is this what is refered as ghost update?

And does it mean, someone has started to look at the application. I have sent several mails in last weeks

I have done that like 2 weeks ago. Its only London office that even manage to respond and refer me to webform, which I already did.

You can send them emails to at least update the medicals, and also state that her studies have started, and beg them to process her application quickly so she can resume physically

The medical was upfront.

We just booked and did it couple of weeks ago.

Hello house, we are confuse here. My aunt child in-person resumption is 1st week of November. She started online for her high school class since beginning of October. But she has to be in-person in November.

Nothing from IRCC yet. I have uploaded her medical more than 3weeks no update on her case.

What option should we result to?

Its almost getting to 6months no answer yet. I raise webform/request GCMS note, still havent heard from them. Can someone help with the proper mail I should send request to?
