My application got refused today June 17th.
I applied on May 20th
The reasons were:
-Financial situation was insufficient
-purpose of visit

I had a Canadian bank statement of $13k
Nigerian statement: N5.5m
Pension statement: N25m
Paid tuition deposit of $6500
I am already in Canada as a visitor but applied as though I am outside of Canada.

I am trying to figure out how to address the issue and reapply

How easy can one secure Nursing BSc for mature student. Would like to pick on brain of anyone that have successfully secure BSc nursing in Canada

I have aunty that travel with her two kids who are Canadian citizen to Canada, but she is on a visitor visa that expires in June.

But presently have secure admission for two years program. Would she be able to convert to student permit?

Congrat, I have a friend I am helping. But the spouse just arrived, but got less than a year student permit as spouse was going for 1 year certificate course.

PPR !!! For a family of five.
My spouse traveled to Canada on student visa in August 2022. I applied for myself and three kids in October 2022.
Timeline
1. Family application, Sowp for me, study permit for two of the kids and visit visa for the third kid on the 21st October
2. Biometrics on the 27th October
3. Medical request by IRCC on the 28th November
4. Medical screening submitted on 27th and passed on 28th December
5. PPR on the 30th for all members of the family.

I appreciate nairaland as I did everything on my own and from information gotten here.

Note: I used the old gckey account my spouse used in getting her study permit.

Pls as soon as ur spouse lands in Canada you can put in ur application as it's not necessary to wait as most people presume.

The only special health related recruitment that could happen is that of SINP which they started recently though I haven’t seen anyone that has gotten employment that route. You just upload your CV when you complete your EOI on Saskatchewan site

There might be some special recruitment but via provincial nomination.

But be careful, if I really want to confirm. I can use someone on ground to go check their location and if possible call LABOUR unit

There seems to be some confusion about PCC. I see most recently that there is a new way of getting PCC that is done solely online.

Has IRCC started accepting the recent PCC from Nigeria that doesnt have print out of your finger print.
