Not really clear why people differ admission when they can start remotely. Personally I think starting remotely is a good idea. Even most people that resume are still doing their study from home in Canada.

@Mamatee2, I think you had similar application with my Aunty. I have been trying to get more information on process when one has hight school student applying for student permit with accompanying mummy. Will you been willing to share some information with her?

I can share their email address if you dont mind.

mamatee2:
Congratulations to those that recently received PPR and to the hopefuls, may the Lord grant your heart desires. Stay hopeful and prayerful. Your PPR is on the way! It will surely end in praise for what God cannot do does not exist!

Meanwhile, my daughter's (13 years old) PPR dropped this morning to the glory of God.

I applied for study permit along with her on May 3, 2021 but forgot to include a consent letter from my husband for her to travel along with me. So when my PPR dropped on Aug 24 (I already shared all the details and timeline in the previous thread), hers didn't drop, but instead I got a request letter for the Non Accompanying Parent Authorization Letter to travel.

I uploaded the letter on the 25th Aug and the wait began...I actually thought it wouldn't take more than a day or 2 because her eligibility started on that 24th Aug, so I believed it was just the authorization letter that was delaying the approval.

I sent webforms and emails but received the usual auto responses.

Yesterday, I sent an email to nairobi and I added "PRIORITY" to the subject of the email. (Note: I did this because I read on their contact page that they are currently focusing only on a list of priority enquiries one of which is my case - "You need to submit documents requested by one of our officers"wink. Please, I'm not advising this except your case is on the priority enquiries.

As soon as I sent the email, I got the attached response...this isn't the usual response. When I saw "Missions abroad", I thought to myself, Mission ke...I hope I've not complicated things. I kept hoping and praying.
Then her PPR dropped very early this morning.

Thank you to everyone who contributed and are still contributing to this platform. You will surely be rewarded by the great rewarder himself. God bless you all!

For SOP and LOE, any advise for a template when you have Minor applying for High school studies.

Lekiboboe:
Since your admission to a Course-based Masters program in a university ain't working out, you can apply for a specialized PG. Cert Computer Science related program

See the link below for

Computer Science Related PG cert programs
https://www.nairaland.com/6567181/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/418#103972127

Make sure the Branch of Computer Science that has a PG. Cert program applicable to you based on your background or Job experience is what you should go for.

Just make sure you state in your SOP with cogent reasons why you chose to go for a PG. Cert program instead of a Masters degree (thesis-based or Course-based)

As regards writing SOP, go through all contents in the link below
https://www.nairaland.com/6321900/canadian-student-visa-thread-part/523#100849022

Note: Because you didn't get admission to the two Universities mentioned is not a cogent reason why you decided to go for a PG. Cert program in Canada

Good luck!!!

Use of a Family Member Representative for Online Applications (IMM5713) (required)

Is required if you have someone added as accompanying a main applicant. However, in this case the main applicant is a minor. Who will do the signature

Use of Representative (IMM5476) (required)

This is because, I am trying to help my aunty and her daughter - Was wondering if I should remove myself from the application so its will the mother helping her daughter complete the application.

Who do the SOP, the daughter of the Mother_

Thanks alot @winner0718. POF wouldnt be an issue. As the parent already made in the full tuition and has over 80k US in DOM account, if not more and been so active.

What get me curious, will 14years kids expected to write SOP or will the mother be helping her? Can we use the sample SOP/LOE that is in page 1 of the forum, knowing that its mostly suited for Master/degree student applicants.

Winner0718:
Please proceed from here, note you should provide the LOE for the accompany parent she would have were u can upload her docs. Tagged purpose of visit also remenber to talk about her in the student SOP as an accompany to help the student settle down. Dont forget the POF either its a necessity. Goodluck

It will end with praise

DO we have template for SOP for this kind of application.

@JustMellow

JustMellow:
Hello Ehiremen2002,

The adult should have justifiable reason/evidence of either due to helping the minor settle or due to medical disability.

n.b. when it concerns the study permit, there is nothing like "accompanying parents."

The application of the adult should be submitted separately with the necessary information of PA attached as document proofs. A letter of explanation should also be included.

Best of Luck

So we will have two distinct applications right?

But how can we tight both of them together. And any sample of the kind of support letter or SOP use for this kind of application.

This application will be for the child 13years, the Mum and the another accompanying child 2years

Fortuneforever:
You are not getting response to this your case cos it doesn't seem common on this thread you will just have to wait for someone who has applied for visa for high school.
Is this application with a parent or just the child?
Hopefully you will get the answers you need.

EmeeNaka:
NSE route is not for High school Applications. NSE is for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Applications.
You can pay school fees via bank using Form A. The school provide the transfer arrangement and you use Form A to pay.
Thanks a lot @EmeeNaka, good to know that NSE isnt used by High school applicant. I tried the option of Form A. But was told high school wast included.

@Frankrobbn1,@Lianna2020 please need your advice. I posted couple of question about 13th years old student going for high school. Is the process same as undergraduate and post graduate.

I just check with a bank if its possible to pay school via bank and they said no.

What should we do. Can we do NSE without ielts for the student.

Thanks a lot MadeMan01, will this route be valid for student for high school. Is IELTS a requirement also for her.
I just read @Frankrobbn, post. Seems she might not qualify for it as IELTS was listed as the requirement. meaning its majorly for university students and above.

8. Have a language test (IELTS) that shows; a score of 6.0 or higher in each skill (reading, speaking, writing, and listening).

MadeMan01:
Use the search window at top of Nairaland page and type key word "BVL meaning" and "NSE meaning" to get info on what you seek. Focus on explanation posts by @Frankrobbn, @Lekiboboe. For now cannot remember others) As you read through this thread you would get to know some other authorities on this thread.

NSE is meant to be an express program for Nigerian students interested in schooling in Canada NIGERIA STUDENT EXPRESS. You need some requirements like IELTS result, passport, over $30,000 equivalent in account over last 12 months, passport, upfront medical, etc. It's meant to be concluded in 20 days but I think their work load doesn't make this possible.

BVL IS biometric Validity letter. It is sent to student permit visa applicants when a decision has been made on your study permit application and usually precedes the final verdict of either passport request or refusal. Hope this brief summary helps
Thanks a lot MadeMan01, will this route be valid for student for high school. Is IELTS a requirement also for her.

Please house, seems I have not been asking the right question, or maybe when I get response, I lost it within the chats. I don’t have a lot of access online. Now it’s 313, will try stay on till I see a response.

I have asked about What’s NSE, BVL

I asked cos I am helping my aunt complete student application for her first child, she is 13 and plan start grade 9 this September in a college in Ottawa. We have secure the admission and looking a best way to send in the tuition fees of 16k CAD.

We also looking for a fast option to apply for student permit for the girl. She will also like to accompany the child with her second child.

Maybe the husband can apply for visitor another time. I will do much appreciate guidances towards right direction.
