Sent emails to all MPs in Saskatchewan... � In May 2022. We were also proactive by gathering all the required documents including upfront medicals and PCC for spouse. Sent these via webform).
ADR Documents for spouse and proof of relationship. - 20th May 2022
Spouse added to application - 21st May 2022
BIL for spouse - 2nd June 2022
ADR :Remedicals for me and medicals for spouse 7th June 2022.
ADR : PCC for spouse 24th June 2022
ADR :upfront medicals for spouse - 28th July 2022 (This was previously sent via webform, but I uploaded the same medical information sheet given at the clinic since it was barely 6 months since the medical was done.
MEP- 29th July 2022
PPR 2- 9th August 2022.

It has ended in praise.

A friend just got married and want to bring the husband from Nigeria to Canada

Hello house need the house opinion with a case where the daughter is studying ( grade 9) - has 1 year visa but when she landed last year, she got a 5years student permit. The mum had a 5 years visitor visa . She accompanied the daughter but has never stayed beyond 6months . She has always had to travel to the US for Xmas holiday and possible return to Naija for June school vacation. I was thinking if she can apply. For work permit before she leave in June.

She and the minor daughter will be resuming in august.

Trying to brainstorm what better option for her to start counting work experience in Canada

He plans to stay in Canada, atleast till Sept (6months) and the intention is actually for him to go and stay in US with family for another 6months and return back to Canada.

Depends on the Province that your dad is going to but there are no available dates currently in Calgary(Alberta) while earliest available date is like March 2023 in other provinces. It may change in the coming weeks or months though (also depends on how long he’s staying in Canada).

As per getting a slot before he leaves Nigeria, it’s a possibility. I think they may release dates for March in the coming days, keep checking.

We have been able to get popsy flight ticket to canada, 21st of march and was wondering if there is any hope to get US interview slot before then.

Or should I email the email if I can be considered for urgent interview, even if he is not officially qualified

I am only worried, it might be difficult tosecure US visa as a visitor in Canada. The last time we tried with Mum, they ask why didnt you apply from your home country.

The interview with mom was not too stressful, because my bros was with her and help her answer most of the question.

True. In fact there are no available interview dates in some Provinces e.g. Alberta. Got an October 2022 date for my daughter but was able to get August 2022 after incessant ‘checking’…

Of course, you can try in Canada…you may have to fill another DS160 (since you must’ve picked Nigeria in the current one). However I’ll tell you that the dates in Canada depending on the province are from February 2023…

I just check last night and have reschedule to May 2023.

A sister of my Just got PPR and even if they already sent in webform for new bankstatement,re medical for both spouse, and new baby and payment of 225. They still didnt reflect it on the PPR

Not sure way to go.

This was information I got from a friend via whatsapp and wanted to validate who has recently used this process,

1. Gather all documents for adding newborn as per checklist below:

•IMM 0008 (Generic Application Form)
•IMM 0008DEP (Additional Dependants)
•IMM 5406 (Additional Family Information)
•Birth certificate
•International passport
•A letter of explanation
•Proof of payment of the 225CAD
•Upfront Medicals
•Updated POF (if necessary)

2. Send a webform to IRCC informing them to quickly add her newborn so that they can all travel together. Advise her to send to her normal VO and still send through that COVID quick response center there in Canada (just incase)

3. Gather all her Passports including her newborn's passport and follow the steps for submission as contained in the PPR letter

4. Send her package via DHL to the Lagos VFS (to buy time while they are adding newborn � )

5. Keep following up with Step 2 above so that the addition can be done speedily cos some people who had this issue said it's not cool if they send back passports unstamped.

6. Keep checking your online portal everyday to ensure the baby has been added. Check under the dependents list section

7. If her own medicals is about to expire, I'd advise she redos it while doing baby's own to avoid having a short COPR validity.

I was in your shoes and added my babies in May 2020 after PPR had been issued. My sister we are still waiting for another PPR to be issued. this is almost 2 years, not even a re-medical request has been sent.

My suggestion will be for you to get your passport stamped as soon as possible,
if you can make it to Canada before delivery that would be great. (it wont be easy sha considering your state but i am sure it will be worth the stress so you can just have your baby in Canada).

if you cant get your passport stamped before delivery, you can have your baby in Nigeria. when you are stronger and much settled look for a way to finally land with your baby probably by getting a visitors visa then file for your baby's PR after landing in Canada.

That adding a new baby to your profile now is a complete no no for me except of course you don't mind the long wait before another PPR is reissued.

I got PPR on 5th Jan, it’s just BVL I got today.
I sent my passport to Abuja on the 6th from DHL on Allen Avenue, it arrived VFS office already, VFS sent me an email.

Congrat, seems a lot of people got PPR today.

Medical Request; 23rd of December, I had submitted so I raised a webform with a new link my friend sent and they updated it on the 24th of December.

Sponsor’s funds; mybankStatement(MBS) of two company accounts and one personal account, all my father’s.
CAC documents to back up company ownership claim
Reference Letters from all 3 Banks
School Receipt for 4k CAD deposit
Landed Property documents (3)

Personal funds; a fixed deposit certificate of 1.5 million, I explained in my SOP how I came about the money. I figured since I’m 25, I should have some funds of my own.

Also I did a table of content for the documents submitted at the end of the SOP before my final statement.

When I eventually travel in April, I’ll drop landing gist lol.
