One more thing I mistakenly uploaded my transcript (student copy) hope this won't affect my application as my official transcript will get there latest second week of January 2023?

Note : my gcsmnotes I ordered stated insufficient proof of third party sponsorship . I came to nairaland to ask for what I should do . I was asked to act fast on it because it is very close to a refusal but God doesn’t fail. Nairaland gurus told me to fire back using email and webform this thing actually works most important the general webform which make you know that they have received your enquiry.

With prayer and fasting the application was approved. Also , trust God while waiting because I was so discouraged when I come to nairaland and I see most application with uncle sponsorship are not approved even those with same surnames talk less of me that it is grand uncle with different surname from mine.
I told God that I want my application to be different with this grand uncle sponsorship. I want to give a testimony of grand uncle sponsorship because what’s impossible with man is possible with God.
Also, while waiting try to distract yourself from thinking of it because it really affects one’s mental especially. The waiting period is not easy but it will be easier if you have faith in God . I joined NLP by pastor b which made me closer to God and speak to God about my application.
In the mighty the name of God , those that are planning to submit their application and people waiting for a decision to be made on their application they will get a positive decision very soon in Jesus name because mark 11:24 “That what ever you ask in prayers believe you have receive it and it is yours”Also ,remember “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

Please don't mind my grammars but I will try my best to make readers understand what I'm trying to say. I met my girlfriend at the time I was being disturbed by my parents to bring a wife. But then I was not really ready for marriage and this girl I met during that time happens to be the girl I love most. I showed her how much I love her and I know she really loves me too. I've tested her love for me many times and I can proof how much this girl loves me. To cut the story short, we had a misunderstanding couple of months ago and it lasted for two weeks befre we settled it. What really caused the fight was a guy that I feel like they were having a relationship and I confronted my girlfriend. She said they've known each other befre she met me and they weren't dating anymore though the guy has been trying to come back to her but she just decided to keep him as friend according to what she told me. So this particular guy again I saw him coming to ask of her in her house when I was there and I did not feel good seeing that guy. I had to leave and didn't pick the girl call for some time and she stopped calling me too. Though I know I'm gonna call her back when Im done angry and I was even expecting her to call me more and maybe I would eventually pick but I didn't see her call for a week. So I started feeling somehow when she uploaded that particular guy pick on facebook and tagged it "my love." She uploaded it both on whatsapp and facebook so that I caN see it because I stopped checking her whatsapp status. When I couldn't feel okay anymore I decided to end the fight jokingly with her and it worked then I asked her after few days of settlement why she had to put that guy on her status but she said she did it because she saw where I also put some girls on my status and me putting love emoji so she retaliated with that because it hurt her. We settled the fight and we agreed never to get mad at each other again. But just of recent I heard it from her sister that the guy I always see with my girlfriend has come to their house to see her parents and I shoudnt even waste my time with her or tell her. I was not okay when I heard that story and coudnt believe until I asked my girlfriend if she's hiding anything from me but she said No. After asking her so many times she finally told me to ask her whatever I heard and I told her. She answered yes and I was shocked. I asked her why she had to do that and she explained how her dad had been insulting her at home to go and marry and even transferred the aggressiveness to her mother if she fails to bring a man befre this year though, she always tell me everything her father is doing with her at home and always cry when telling me but I keep telling her to please have patient that we will go to see him very soon. So the second thing she said was that when we had a misunderstanding for some weeks and we didn't talk she believed I've done with her and she can't wait to loose both ways even though she loves me more than the guy. Now the guy had gone to see her parents but my girlfriend said its nothing that she can't get married to the guy and that meeting is nothing, so I fell relaxed and asked her what we are going to do. She told me to impregnate her and then she will go and tell her father that she is pregnant for another guy and not the guy that came to see him. We had sex but unfortunately she didn't get pregnant. So she decided to tell her mom what's going on and how much she want me and her to marry. So the mother took her to her father and told her everything my girlfriend said that it's not the guy that came to see them is her husband that the main husband is coming to see them but the father changed it and got upset with them that why and what's the meaning of that nonsense, if she doesn't love the guy that came to see them why did she introduced him to them. She recorded all the insults the father said and played it for me. I was so shocked and this girl started crying to the extent that I had to take her out that day to feel happy. She said she doesn't want to marry that guy but that guy had come with his parents to see my girlfriend parents. Now I don't know what to do because my girlfriend said she will kill herself if we don't get married which can't even happen. Whenever I tell her to please let peace reign that she should go ahead and marry the guy she will get mad and would never talk to me anymore until I beg her. And sometimes when I jokingly tell her that I will also go and see another girl parent so that I won't loose at both ends she kneel and start crying not to even do so. She always tell me to put mind at rest that we would get married but I don't see it working at all because those guys parents will be making preparations day by day. So my mom and I haven’t been on best of terms when I was staying with them, my mom is a kind of person that if it doesn’t go her way or if you don’t do what she wants you are her enemy.

I left owerri march last year to come stay with my parents and since then it’s been hell, my moms urge to control everything that happens in your life is too much if you don’t do it she removes you from the circle of her children,

What do I mean by that let’s assume they don’t have food in the house n you have 5h with you, you go to buy something to eat cause you didn’t eat since morning after coming back from work n my mom sees you she I’ll pick offense won’t talk to you for a week, saying why during you bring the money let her cook for her children, and mind you we are seven boys in the house.

Now to the main part, her younger sister that died 2018 and the husband got married to another lady that ended up maltreating the kids The elder sister which is my cousin was always in battle with her step mom spiritual n physical, she says she wanted to leave the house n come to my moms place in Abuja which the dad was happy s was bout cause he was tired of her.

Her dad called my mom she picked her up n brought her to Abuja to start a new life, fast forward to recently the dad chased her younger brother too out of the house he had to sleep on the street and in the morning we boarded a bus to Abuja for him he came with no cloth or bag just how he was, then after that he and my mom started having issues. Mind you me n my cousin and mom have already started having issues but let’s skip that for now.

The boy is 15 years old, he said he saw my brother peeing on the ground in the toilet which is my younger brother who is also 13 they are age mates, so he said he told him to stop peeing on the ground and pee in the wc that what if another person comes now the toilet wil be smelling then that he (my younger brother started shouting at him), saying it’s his toilet he I’ll pee where he wants to.

So they had an argument and my cousins brother went to report to my mom, my mom started shouting at him that why would he tell him not to pee on the floor that is he mad like that like that, The boy was shocked at he response n said he wants to go back to his house in Lagos where they just chased him out from mind you this was just 3 weeks after he came,

Then my mom started ranting and saying that it’s my cousins that’s eating all of my money in this house mind you I was at work I was ent home,

My cousin didn’t utter a word too she was avoid the trouble that was brewing the, Dad came back the boy told my dad I was crying saying that he wants to go back to his house the next day he boarded the next bus and left till the date of typing this my mom hasent called him a 15yr old boy that lost his mom n took you as his mum,

So back to me from there you could see the trouble at home it got to a point my mom was saying I was sleeping with my cousin which came as a shook to me cause I’m never home anything to just stain my name or get me angry so she planned with my dad and they started telling my cousin to pack her things and leave the house someone that came to you for shelter cause they said her stepmom wanted to kill her my mom got a revelation that was if she goes back she’d die.

My mom played deaf to that one and kept on insisting she should go back and leave her house and being I was already planning to get an apartment for myself December my cousin called her dad her dad sent her half of the rent and we paid n moved in together since we left the house my mom has been calling all my uncles and aunties telling them that I’m sleeping with my sister which is absolutely wrong on all levels spoiling my name here and there, honestly I really couldn’t care much bebut I’m just disappointed is this how a mum should behave, it was from me not going to church on Sunday to her having issues with my dog saying we were too close or I was to close to my dog then to this now pls someone should just analyze this story and render your advice,

Now they are calling me threatening me that they I’ll use police to arrest me n my cousin n send her back to her fathers house not knowing that her dad was the one that sent her part of the payment, I’m not scared of anyone really cause the useless uncles I have haven’t sent me a kobo since my lifetime then they all want to come n start spilling trash now.

Update: guys she my mom came to my house this morning just this morning and saw my cousin I didn’t even know why I let her in in the first place, she saw my cousin and started dragging her cloths almost tearing them and making her naked in front of my younger brothers she brought to my house and was shouting chewing a nuisance even went to all my neighbors knocked on their doors and was shouting to them that I’m sleeping with my cousin tho she spoke Igbo or was speaking Igbo and there are calabar people guys pls what kind of life is this I have left their house still they don’t want me to rest, went to report to my dad and all he could say was and so,

I’m thinking of reporting the case to a police station first then next time they come here to cause a nuisance in my apartment they’d be arrested.

Having a sibling in Canada does not affect one's chances. We have seen applicants with two siblings in CA getting approval. We have also seen applicants without siblings in CA getting refused.

If you have a sibling in CA, you must indicate in the family information form. Doing otherwise you will be telling a lie, and if they find out?

So guys, here is my story.

I have lost a great deal of money paid to agents in the past to secure visa for me, most recently was last year June when I naively paid 285k to an agent to secure admission for me in a Canadian college. It was after this disaster that I stumbled on this thread. I regretted my life and beat myself up for a long time.

Afterwards, I began to read this thread from the beginning of part 18 till I caught up with part 19. I gained a huge amount information from people's timeliness shared, but most importantly, I met a wonderful individual on this thread who'd turn out to be a partner in progress in this journey.

We both got offers for a 1yr PGD program at Cambrian College, but realized afterwards that it was more convenient to go for a 2yrs program because of the PGWP thing. We had to abandon that offer and apply to other schools, but eventually settled for Lambton college, Toronto, May 2022 intake.

Due to sudden unforseen financial challenges, Paying for my compulsory first term tuition fee before the deadline given became a huge challenge that kept me up at night. I prayed like never before and God came through and brought help my way.

Submitting my visa application became another challenge because I didn't know exactly how to package my application as a self sponsored applicant. My profile was kinda complex and my story was very complicated. My friend Tobe1997 convinced me to give it to the renowned Frankrobbn to tie together, as it was his specialty. We hooked up and the man showed his acute knowledge of the process of study visa application. Because of his extremely busy schedule, it was stressful chasing him upandan to get his attention to my application, but as soon as I got it, my story suddenly became simple and straightforward.

I submitted my application on 21st November via the new portal, did my upfront medical and biometrics the next day. Upfront medical was updated to passed on 25th November while the biometrics delayed to be updated on the portal till 7th December 2021 after I raised webform and mailed IRCC about it.

During the waiting period, I prayed, fasted, did midnight prayers, booked mass, did everything I could to show God that I was totally depending on him to complete this project as I had done what I could do as a human. I lost faith sometimes, but his mercies always prevailed.

On the 18th of January 2022, my friend received her ppr while I received mine 10 days after hers. My detailed documents submitted are below:

My dad was one of my strong hometies, but I unfortunately lost him this January while waiting for PPR. It seemed like it was shaping up to be a bad year, but God showed up and rescued me.

This whole visa process has taught me so much about prayers and dependability on God, there's nothing he cannot do. Fasting and prayers works folks! Trust in God and there's nothing he cannot do for you. My study permit approval is the most improbable of all because I wasn't the most qualified, I wasn't even qualified. God just qualified me and made me eligible.

I requested for gcms on the 5th of January, mailed like 4 MPs in Toronto, only one accepted to help enquire from IRCC on my behalf. She gave me feedback from IRCC this Tuesday that my eligibility review was ongoing, but as at then it hadn't been updated on my portal. Meanwhile, I started mailing Abuja, Lagos, Nairobi and London like 10 times daily from the beginning of January after my application got to 6 weeks. I'd schedule my mails on my email app for every hour from 6am till 2pm Nigeria time, and they'll just deliver automatically at the top of every hour. The responses were always the generic ones, but I didn't care. I'd send webform via the new webform link in between from time to time. It seemed like the mails weren't yielding any thing, but I was encouraged to continue. This Thursday, I saw that my eligibility review had been updated on my portal, I went back and doubled down on my prayers that night, and then scheduled another 10 mails each to just Abuja and Nairobi every hour against Friday. By the time the 8th mail had delivered by 1pm, I received 2 mails from IRCC and also from their Abuja office that there's a message sent to my portal. At that point, I was in the middle of a serious meeting at the office and my hands were shaking to open my portal, I ran to the toilet and lo and behold the beautiful messages of correspondence and ppr were seated pretty on the portal. I didn't know what I felt. I pinched myself to wake up, quickly urinated to know if I will wake up, but it was all reality. I couldn't contain my joy. After all the sleepless nights, worries and all, God has crowned it all with success.

I am eternally grateful to you all on this platform for the encouragement and information shared freely. God bless you. For those still waiting for their good news, keep trusting, there's nothing impossible for God to do.

I did some background check of Conestoga college the program indicates graduate certificate in Global hospitality management while your refusal states post graduate certificate ...where is the mix up coming from you or the officer because gc and pgc are not same...

They are busy refusing you based on choice of program..
You have HND in catering and hotel management with work experience in catering service ..you want to study global hospitality management..you failed to satisfy the officer how your previous studies and work experience was related to your choice of program why will employer in your country of origin hire international graduate when they are locally available...they keep refusing you on purpose of visit..
Explain the career options of the program including relationship with catering and hotel management..
