EvilMetahuman:Would you rather the government spend money on the repairs of obsolete equipments in our refineries or that they allow the private sector come in to boost their refining capacity & create more wealth? |
EvilMetahuman:So you would prefer we import than allow Dangote "monopolize" the system? Nothing stops you from getting yours & competing with him. |
EvilMetahuman:Monopoly is not as bad as you see it. Dangote is not the only person licensed to build one also. |
"A successful man is one who makes more money than his wife can spend. A successful woman is one who can find such a man". Oh please. The average Nigerian woman can wreck whatever you think you got in 3 months. |
so sad. let's not give up. Pray for Charlie. |
EvilMetahuman:It takes time for the effectiveness of the policies of Kachukwu to trickle down from top to bottom. |

FFK has always been a cynic & an hypocrite. Only the IPOBS worship & takes whatever he says hook-line & sinker. Anything FFK belongs to the trash can. The clown is always trying to polarize the public by igniting tribal & religious hate. |
Girls would go to an event well prepared and "well exposed" but they be on their phone all day. |
Kachikwu promised to end importation of petrol by 2019 or he would resign. Bringing in the private sector and the modular refineries, especially with the likes of DANGOTE REFINERY could put an end to it sooner. |
I'm so sick and tired of seeing naked women. Women just want to let loose pretty much these days. It is either baby shower, maternity shoot, anything to go bizarre. |
He just realised this after his party left power? Nigeria has always been in the hands of a few but I don't need this hypocrite to remind me. |
Awaiting me vaseline crew. Beautiful buttocks. I'd love to be a judge to assess those assesz. ![]() |
That man has been thrown in a dungeon for masterminding the biggest scam causing the death of many youths. I'm very much impressed by the judge's comments. |

Even in churches, you are still marginalized? It's either marginalization is your birthright or you are just stupidly being paranoid. |

A man who was forced to walk miles to work in sweltering heat, has been bought a car by members of his local community. Justin Korva regularly braved temperatures of 90 degrees Fahrenheit (32 Celsius) to get to his job at Taco Casa in Rockwell, Texas. The 20-year-old was picked up on his three- mile trek one morning by Andy Mitchell, who posted a picture of pair on Facebook next to a message explaining his journey. “To all the people what say they want to work but can’t find a job or don’t have a vehicle, all I can say is you don’t want it bad enough,” Mr Mitchell wrote. The story was shared within the local community and Samee Dowlatshahi, the owner of a local pizza restaurant, started a secret donation box for Mr Korva at his business, CBS News reported. In less than 48 hours members of the local community had donated $5,500 (£4,290). A local car dealership then worked out a deal for a 2004 Toyota Camry, which was bought for Mr Korva with the money. The car was then presented to him one day after work. “Instead of you walking to work buddy, you’re driving this car from now on,” Mr Mitchell told his friend. “It’s paid for in full, all you’ve got to do is drive it.” The money donated by people paid for the car, a year’s worth of insurance and a $500 (£390) petrol card. Mr Korva was filmed hugging the members of the group who turned up to give him the car. “I’m at work, I’m clocking out and I’m leaving,” Korva told the ABC13 news channel. “And as I’m leaving, I just see all these people -- I’m like, ‘What’s going on?’” “I wouldn’t think something like that would happen to me,” he said. |
Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Ibe
Kachukwu has said that Nigeria remain the only oil
producing country that is still struggling with the
importation of refined petroleum products,
describing the situation as a complete
embarrassment. The Minister said Nigeria was the only member country of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) still grappling with the importation of refined petroleum products. Kachukwu who spoke at the 5th Triennial National Delegates Conference of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) in Abuja also said it was a shame that despite its huge resources, Nigeria has continued to grapple with epileptic power supply. He said Nigeria should be able to produce enough petroleum products to meet domestic needs, pointing out that changing times in the industry suggest that Nigeria must look for ways of ensuring efficient management of the refineries and make them productive or lose them and the job opportunities it offers. thenationonlineng.net/shame-still-importing-petroleum-products-kachukwu/ CC LALASTICLALA CC MYND44 |
In as much as I am pained by our current situation, I still believe that this is a blessing in disguise, just like Pat Utomi said. The rate at which a lot of people are engaged in farming & the general awareness created in the public about diversifying & agricultural revolution, I can bet my two cents that the prices of these goods would shimmer down when supply continue to increase. To those mentioning, agriculture is a must, importation of everything we eat, wear, even our gadgets are imported. The strides and achievements we recorded when agriculture was our major activity cannot be matched by a corrupt filled & income dwindling oil sector. |
I stopped believing the NASS when a Senator came on a media platform to say that "no constituency projects or drilling of boreholes were inserted in budget. |

Academic and non-academic staff of the University of Maiduguri (Unimaid), have appealed to the Federal Government to approve funds for the construction of perimeter fence round the University to address the current spate of suicide bombings. Unimaid ASUU Chairman, Dr Dani Mamman, made the appeal on Wednesday in Maiduguri while briefing newsmen on behalf of other unions which include SSANU, NASU, NAAT and SUG. “We advocate for the immediate construction and fortification of the perimeter fence which is porous and easily accessible by the misguided suicide bombers. “In this regard, we implore the Federal Government to give special consideration to the management request for funds for the project,” Mamman said. He also urged the government to approve the request of the management for the procurement of modern security equipment to ensure security at the university. “Given the place of science and technology in the 21st century, we strongly believe that the use of modern security equipment is a better option of providing policing. “We urge the Federal Government to give immediate attention to management request on the two projects which amounted to N2.8 billion,” Mamman said. The ASUU chairman added that no amount of money was too much to save lives. “We believe that no amount of money is too much to save lives of over 40, 000 staff and students that have bravely refused to give up to the ideology of the Boko Haram insurgents that forbids Western education. “Those staff members that braved the dreaded insurgents and remained to teach deserve special consideration and commendation by Federal Government,” Mamman added. Newsmen report that Unimaid had witnessed several suicide bombings lately. The latest attack took place on Sunday in which over 16 persons were killed. |
Married women would always chastise men for watching soccer for just 90mins saying "people wey dey abroad dey make their money, una dey hear dey kill una selves", but they can stay glued to the tv watching zeeworld and other channels for movies while the actors make their money. |
