Hi sir, Mr. Intelligent. what we are saying is this.... both Nigeria and china are a Nation, China could look inward and become lenders to other nations. If not to nations, why can't Nigeria become lenders to other African country (With all the wealth and natural resources).

Have you read anywhere that China didn't borrow or need any form of intervention to get to where they are today?
Politics / Re: Nigerian Youths Write World Bank, IMF, China, Asks To End Crippling Loans, Else by Ehiscotch(m): 8:12pm On Aug 03, 2020
UncleAyo:
We have thiefs and dull heads in the form of politicians as leaders in Nigeria

they have no shame

When he is sick he runs to the UK or USA for treatment

when its time to educate his children he send them abroad to study

Now Nigeria (a nation) is borrowing from another nation using the future of the youths and their children to be.

If china kept borrowing from the USA and not look inward, will it be where it is today?

If leaders of the nations abroad are dullhead and thief like many of our politician, will they have great universities and health institution to run to when you are sick?

Do you know that the USA is in debt?

The citizens even complain about it's indebtedness. I am not defending politicians but borrowing is not at all bad especially with little interest rates.

You can easily criticize government officials from the comfort of your homes but believe you me even if you are put there you won't build anything with the system we have in place ( top to bottom corruption).

I understand your concern but this loan is not in the least bad at all as the money will be paid directly to contractors.
Politics / Re: Nigerian Youths Write World Bank, IMF, China, Asks To End Crippling Loans, Else by Ehiscotch(m): 7:56pm On Aug 03, 2020
I have seen ignorance displayed by Nigerians severally but not so foolishly.
Like I can understand when you jump up and down and rattle about government policies and I can deal with political prejudice; but this, this beats me like how in the world can't you understand the simple details of a loan?

Like how can y'all look yourself in the mirror and be brazenly ignorant and loud, wa wu!!

First, the money meant for the project will be paid DIRECTLY to the contractors and not to Buhari nor Amaechi neither NDDC or EFCC and Nigerian would only provide counterpart funding.

The "sovereignty" here is a big word for "collateral". And it is even a simple one, if Nigeria can't pay back the Chinese will takeover the asset until they recover the money. They can't take the asset back to their country or take over Aso Rock.

If you, you, you borrow somebody money won't you ask for collateral. If the person can't pay through shortcomings won't you find a means of recovering your cash.

Let us sit and think. I hate to go this route trust me, but we need to instill the truth to people.

The situation is complex and should be handled with caution. I understand that people have their predispositions and proclivities but it doesn't take away the fact that homosexuality is wrong.

Even if you are a naturalist, the way nature is structured you don't see same sexes mating.

Life has borders and boundaries, we can't keep living the way we feel is right.

People find animals attractive, does it justify their feeling or am I supposed to understand that to?

I hate homosexuality not homosexuals. I am sympathetic to their disposition but I also have my own frailties too but I have to "put my body under".

Don't be surprise that Chelsea might come back. Seriously I really don't understand under what mathematical and sporting considerations people think Chelsea can't mount a comeback against bayern Munich. Last time I remembered, Chelsea became European champions by beating bayern, they couldn't beat united, but beat bayern! Y'all gonna be shocked to see that happen. I mean, you 'feel' RM can beat city at the etihad when they already lost at home to the best coach in the world but u don't fear the fighting spirit of a young motivated coach and team? Courage Blue Bloods! Courage Chelsea FC!

Religion / Re: Is The Church Following The Scripture? by Ehiscotch(m): 9:58am On Aug 02, 2020
EliteBiz:

I apologize for not replying you well at first. I am happy you stopped going to church. I am happy you know the lies in Tithe. I am happy you flee from Catholic.

What you need to do now is Unlearn religion/lies. Then you relearn the scriptures with the help of The Spirit of Truth. You are waking up and that is grace. The bible is not a Christianity religion book. You can't find Sunday worship, Christmas and all the things churches practice in the scriptures. I already exposed the lie of tithe for you in my first post.

This is time for you to start seeking for truth. Don't worry, if you continue to search for our maker, You will find Him.

And you shall seek Me, and shall find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 29:13

I agree to many lengths with you. People have to flee from denominational doctrines and just read the Bible. Go to where the Bible is being taught and immerse yourself with understanding of the scriptures.

The Qoheleth , Solomon said Ecclesiastes 5:1 Keep thy foot when thou goest to the house of God, and be more ready to hear, than to give the sacrifice of fools: for they consider not that they do evil.

We just have to keep praying for this lost sheep and doing our best to win souls to the fold.

I will check your "full-baked" teacher out. wink

You have to really. I faced many of these challenges until I heard his teaching. Look, just like there are a few good politicians out there who have the good of the people at heart but are being overshadowed by the bad ones and the muddled system, better still are teachers of the word who carefully and methodologically dissect the word of truth and say it as IT IS WRITTEN.

Check out the other preachers on too even if they are late Ravi Zacharias, David Pawson and Rick Joyner and co.

No vex, growing up a catholic and realizing the statue worship like you called it isn't labeling ba?
Let's not derail this thread by making this about the Catholics but focus on the real issues like "prosperity preaching and accommodation". This is the main issue of the church alongside Practical Atheism.

Paul said ( paraphrased) to Timothy that men would seek for preachers after their own heart who would deviate from the truth ( the deity, death and resurrection of Christ) and focus on trivial issues like prosperity on Earth, paying of tithe or how God loves you and how it's not your fault but your neighbor's or your relative in the village.

Even in the USA, challenges like these are present in the church.

That's why many can't defend the faith. Because they barely know what its about.

i didn't mention names, if i call names, nrlander will roast me.

We are virtually on the same page, except on a few issues like tithing and being harsh on Christians who do. I find that completely wrong and cynical. The truth is a lot of Christians these days are living in ignorance, many others are practical atheist — believing in the existence of God but living in denial of him.

As regards going to church, I am still searching as well but I listen to messages and watch sermons of Bible teachers like Ravi Zacharias, David Pawson, and Pastor Bankie. Try looking up their messages on YouTube and you'd be blessed.

Why didn't he go with the next governor of Lagos, MC Oluomo?

MC Oluomo is a pawn in the whole chess game, nothing more. You need him to galvanize the "youths and agberos" that constitute a good number of the voting population and most importantly to get the "dirty job(s)" done.

To be honest, there isn't anything particularly special about Jack Grealish. Man United should turn their attention to Donny who is an upgrade to McTominay in terms of creativity, still has a knack for goals and has all the attributes to excel in EPL.

Jack is a good player but he wouldn't start at United and the money Villa is demanding is too much.

So Donny is a good alternative.

I swear. Everything has opened except schools. They don't even want to talk about school. Talk about using illiteracy as weapon against the masses.

Can you compare the number of schools in the nooks and crannies of Nigeria to a handful of airports?

Even in the "saner climes" their schools are closed and they are all reviewing it.

There is nothing like illiteracy anywhere. Haba!

It is easier to regulate, control and monitor adherence to safety guidelines in airports than in schools. I wonder what the basis for the comparison is.
Schools should remain closed for now till we are able to ensure certain adherence to safety protocol.

Chelsea will lose to both Liverpool and Wolves and Man United will win WestHam and sell the last game to Leicester by playing a weaker opposition and Chelsea would end in fifth. .

Worse case scenario but it might just happen.

I also want to express my somewhat unhappy desire of preferring Chelsea's qualification to Leicester. Chelsea are gonna be better next season with the kind of business they are doing and I must say it's quite the opposite in Leicester and they are descending so bad especially with little or no time for pre-season.

Is it just me or is there any other out there that is less worried about our qualifying for the UCL?

I mean we are the favorite team to go through looking at the fixtures and form of the three and we still have an advantage in the Europa League.

All United have to do is beat Leicester on the last day. That's their toughest job regardless of what happens today.

Everyone knows we lost "easily" to Chelsea because of rotation, priorities and fatigue.

I am very unsentimental about this. It's probably ending 3 - nil in favour of Man Utd.

Yet we are releasing Billions to renovate the house of assembly. Anyway, You only put money where your heart is according to bible. For Data, private schools are all registered under the ministry of education in each state after the normal CAC registration. So no problem with data.

Data of the number of staff, etc not schools. The FG can't afford to pay into a system where it has no control over and that could be easily hijacked with the injection of ghost workers and so on.

Truth is, we have to be honest with ourselves there is hardly enough money to fund the budget and you want the FG intervention for private schools?

It isn't wrong to ask but it wouldn't be possible at least not at this time, especially with our inadequate data collection.

In summary, this could work in more developed climes but not in Nigeria.
