Even the Covid-19 ravaged countries are evacuating their citizens but Nigerian are here wailing about bring back their own here. Focus on practising social distancing and proper hygiene and you'd be much better than expending all that energy blaming Buhari. |

That goal was mad!! The skill and composure and the finish? So sad the coronavirus had to cut short the fairytale. It's just Nigerians that hated Odion Ighalo had even forced him to quit the national team amidst threats and insults are now the ones rallying around in support of Ighalo, singing his praises and even getting animated when he is not playing. If the supposed "New World Order" is to meant to unite the world in humility, selflessness and empathy like this then I am here for it. There has never been so much concern and love shown by humans towards one another in ages. Sometimes the dark times brings out the best lights in us — even if it they are being cynical, I'll take it. 1 Like |

I quite agree with you, it's funny how people are already extrapolating from a few cases to a community spread judging by how fast it has spread abroad. I think there are a few variables in place that is contributing to the slow spread of the disease and its effects because we should have been recording deaths by now. Overall, God keep us. |

Even trying to make witty jokes and wordplay about this eludes me. Too much pain being suffered all around the world. Even scientists this time will call for prayers. Now vaccines can't be made as conventionally as they used to: inject victims with weaker or dead strains of the viruses in order to trigger body response to the "real" virus. People also need to slow down on self-med; and irregular use of antibiotics should stop. These organisms are getting stronger and more resistant which is making them harder to treat. 24 Likes 2 Shares |

Wiseandtrue: I know it is your "one cent" but baba abeg when person try salute am say him try. How easy it do you think it is for an underdeveloped nation like ours to respond properly to an emergency not to talk of a pandemic. And this is just for a start, with more support we can together fight this thing. Besides, drinking water is very very VERY essential in this. I have recovered from illnesses just by praying, resting, eating and DRINKING lots of water without medication. 1 Like |

All I know is God has designed the human body to be able to withstand temperatures, climatic changes, diseases. The average human with a healthy immune system should be able to fight the virus naturally but those who can't need a little help with medication. I think humans on their part have done a lot of altering to the earth's stable system and natural laws set by God which is why it is becoming even more difficult to treat diseases. Most diseases aren't cured by drugs but by the body's mechanism which is triggered by drugs. 3 Likes |

The average Nigerian christian will blame witches and forces of nature for his misfortune rather than take responsibility for their shortcomings. The average Nigerian will also take the easy route to blaming the government for their ignorance and failings rather than do what's right or appropriate. Just look how everyone is taking down the FG for being inadequate and inefficient and comfortably overlooking the failure on the part of the citizens to do what's proper. 90 Likes 12 Shares |

It's "Covid-19", sir. I wonder how Nigerians think a certain government will build them a world-class healthcare system, modern railway systems and all what not in a few years. There are basic things that we can manage to do to curtail the virus than always blaming our government and debating about the origin of the virus. The virus is here; we have a failed system. What next? Let's stop all the back and forth with who is to blame. Heck, why didn't these countries close their borders when they were hit with the virus? Why aren't their citizens tearing them out for not doing so? We agree that things are not working out in this country but we can salvage what's left. |

"God doesn't in dwell in houses made by human hands" (Acts 7 vs 48). The building might be under lock and key but the spirit of God moves to and fro the earth... To those above me, stop taking subjective opinions of clerics and pastors as the general Christian belief ( which has been clearly expounded in the bible). 1 Like |

whitebeard: I also wish that they closed borders and ground flights but can we survive the wait? It could take months for it to even be controlled not to talk of it being wiped out. Our lives in this country is basically dependent on importation, I think they are still weighing the options and don't want to be drastic about it. Why do you think it took the US, France, Italy and the UK this long to take stringent measures? Or why haven't countries with fewer cases like Nigeria done similar — are they also not proactive? |

Why all the panicking? I thought y'all said we was immune and our weather was gonna prevent the spread? Oh, and it the story of the audio Italian doesn't sell anymore? Or is the minister suddenly telling the truth or worse hiding the truth about several cases of the virus? Nigerians can be so dumb. Look at them right now shaking like they are being tossed by the wind. Ah ahn, e no dey do black man, e no dey do this; e no dey do that. Now the same Nigerians who depend on imported goods to survive daily are calling for cancellation of flights and closure of borders all round. |

Awol1: Precautionary measures doesn't guarantee 100% prevention. It's more like soldiers wearing protective gear but bullets still managing to pass through little exposed gaps. Let's just pray for these doctors and wish them all the best; they are in the "front line of the war" . |
Celebrities / Re: American Singer, Keri Hilson Reveals Why COVID-19 Is Less Prevalent In Africa by Ehiscotch(m): 4:36pm On Mar 17, 2020 |
temptnow: If there is one conspiracy theory I would believe it's Hilson's. A few decades ago, people wouldn't have believed that environmental pollution has increased the risk of cancer and many other diseases as radiation has made humans more susceptible to even malaria. Her reasons are not farfetched if you really understand electromagnetism. Which is why testing is usually carried out severally before certain innovations are approved because they might pose as health hazards to the public. Bottom line is, something triggered it —I don't think it was engineered in a lab. I have a bad feeling this won't be the last pandemic in the nearest future. It might not have caused covid-19 but man is naturally becoming more vulnerable to diseases. |

She has also been dragged on social media. Laslasticlala, she is a snake fan too. . The singer seems to agree with Health Minister Zweli Mkhize’s statement that who the virus affects has nothing to do with melanin. American singer Keri Hilson has been dragged on social media after sharing her theory on why she thinks the coronavirus is not as prevalent as it is in western countries. The singer has been sharing tips on how people can take care of themselves in these difficult times, but on Monday morning, the singer seemed to have thought she finally found the cause of this virus that has shaken the world – 5G. She said: “People have been trying to warn us about 5G for years. Petitions, organisations, studies… what we’re going through is the effects of radiation. 5G launched in China. Nov 1, 2019. People dropped dead. See attached and go to my IG stories for more. TURN OFF 5G by disabling LTE!!!” People have been trying to warn us about 5G for YEARS. TURN OFF 5G by disabling LTE!!! pic.twitter.com/ wzLH8cXStZ — Keri Hilson (@KeriHilson) March 16, 2020 “And to be clear, I’m saying there have been lots of studies and experiments that point to the possibility that the dangerous levels of electromagnetic radiation (5G) could be causing the contagious virus. Why do you think the virus is not happening in Africa like that? Not a 5G region. There may be a few bases there, but not as prevalent as other countries. It has nothing to do w/ melanin (for those theories),” she added. |
