American singer Keri Hilson has gone on Twitter to state why the deadly coronavirus pandemic also known as COVID-19 is spreading less across the continent of Africa. The singer while sharing a theory about the spread of the virus across the globe said that the reason COVID-19 is not prevalent in Africa is because the continent is “not a 5G region” like other Western countries. She claimed Americans were warned of the “effects” of 5G networks and its radiation increasing the virus rate in affected counties. “People have been trying to warn us about 5G for years; petitions, organisations, studies. What we’re going through is the effects of radiation. 5G launched in China November 1 last year. People dropped dead. See attached and go to my IG Stories for more. Turn off 5G by disabling LTE.” Keri Hilson also shared an alleged case study on 5G networks, and said the more powerful software radiation of 5G will bring about more potent health issues. In one of the posts she screenshotted and shared, the singer explained the alleged dangers of 5G wireless. “Some 5G pundits contend that the new network generates radiofrequency radiation that can damage DNA and lead to cancer; cause oxidative damage that can cause premature aging; disrupt cell metabolism; and potentially lead to other diseases through the generation of stress proteins,” it read. She added that she’s been watching YouTube videos about the effects of 4G and 5G for the past year, and finds the connections to COVID-19 to be “peculiar” and “believable” after what she’s seen. https://www.ripplesnigeria.com/american-singer-keri-hilson-reveals-why-covid-19-is-less-prevalent-in-africa/

What annoys me most is the fact that pastors are leveraging on the ignorance of their members. How can an innocent child be locked up for being a witch? People have to wake up and take responsibility for their actions and not blame it on witches. Where in the bible was it hinted, even slightly, that your problems in life are as a result of a witch? That's why I don't totally condemn people like Daddy Freeze. At least he has created a bit of awakening to all the wrongs currently going on. PS: The girl should never be shown this pictures ever again; it's too traumatic, even for me. |
Awol1:No, you didn't. A little research would have given a little light to the dark depth of ignorance you have sunk in. Every country is feeling the economic shock brought about by covid-19 and it would take a miracle for us not to fall into recession. This is not as a result of mismanagement of resources; it is basically a shortfall in revenue, which ultimately degenerates to a drop in purchasing power of the currency. |
Inflation increase was bound to happen when our oil ships are sitting idle and there drastic reduction in oil prices. I just pray God sees us through this and grants our leaders the wisdom to create palliatives to cushion the effects. Damn you covid-19. |
This if you are privileged to have water in your part of Nigeria. People that don't have the luxury shower when necessary. Trust me, water management skill is an asset in some part of this country. |
Eagleboney:What caused the HIV? The virus doesn't store data about its origin or anything during transmission transmission (sic); it's not your regular nucleic acid — like the human DNA. You can't back trace either, it's not a software. How can you even say the virus is not real or is engineered to kill poor people? PS: I got your mention the first time. |
Okoroawusa:They mostly concern themselves with silly conspiracy theories, popping up with silly campaigns like creating laws that permit abortions, LGBTQ rights and all what not. Even if a significant amount of their populace are spiritual but Mainstream media won't show you all that. |
Eagleboney:Sorry for being rude earlier but you really should look up what a virus is and how they are eliminated. Most virus don't need vaccines or cures as the body creates antibodies to fight of this infections especially when the immune system is healthy. There are many viruses around us everyday. Even your phones has bacteria that you could affect you but your body has probably already dealt with it before and can resist any reentry. I am just appalled that many people here on Nairaland who have easy access to simple info coupled with their education are still ignorant. |
Anyone who has tasted Coca-cola or Pepsi products home and abroad knows that "the difference is clear". Either ways, I'm not a fan of soft drinks (minerals); my body has just recently developed a kinda displeasure to it. |
The way Italy has been hit with this virus is sad; travelling should be restricted to and fro. I pray for Italy. |
Eagleboney:I won't ask you to change your mind — change your brain. |
Sir, these masks will be diverted and sold in Nigerian markets. We are more pathological in this country than diseases. It's still a nice thing to do and I am elated the world is standing together to fight this virus. Thank God everyone realises the unthinkable mess that would happen if this gets to Africa. Even if some silly Nigerians think WHO would release grants to us for what they call "audio coronavirus" without properly confirming. |
Nigerians have a funny way of attributing or relating everything to the government. The research institute most likely is not funded by the government Trump probably has little to do with this. I don't think he has released any special grant or funds to the institute. |
Oyindidi:In this day and age, not minding your business actually pays — ask Aunty Linda. Besides, husband names has helped from inception. |
That's why when they are older they go broke because they have misplaced their priorities. Anyways, the Nollywood doesn't pay much. So the girls have side hustles and big gods — which is why we have more hardworking actors than actresses. |
May their souls be granted eternal rest in the bosom of the lord. |
urchcoded:Guy, stop joining the bandwagon for what you know little or nothing about. And also try to look up what "full human race" means. God gives and he takes as he wills, who is man to question God. He has the right to take his creation when he wills. If only your kind would just open their minds to God and read the bible. But then again, wisdom is far from many. |
And the issue of sacrifice is what we constantly admonish contemporary Christians about. While faith without work is dead, tithing is still the modern day sacrifice. God doesn't delight in your tithing or your giving to church; It's only an extension of your faith. He delights in weightier matters of the law: justice, mercy and faith. I am not saying don't pay your tithes, but don't think that is what God primarily will see and bless you for God knows your heart. |
Azazeal007:If you read the book of Isaiah, you would see that God doesn't delight in sacrifices or fasting but rather that men exude love to one another and to him — which are the two greatest commandments. God has never changed; the God of the old is still the God of the new. The Lord Jesus has come to atone for our sins on the cross, so when the wrath of God would easily be kindled on man — even if that wrath is technically slow — the death of his son pacifies him. There were many times God would pronounce judgement on the inhabitants of the earth but the prophets of old would intercede and God would repent of it but now the blood of Jesus is constantly intervening for us. Which is why Jesus is the only Way to God. |
MyVILLAGEpeople:And many gullible people are swallowing his new attitude. |
This is just brazen dictatorship under the guise of democracy. I just hope there isn't any form of violent revolution which always leads to civil unrest. God help them. |
I can't even go about insulting the Senator; it's his constituency who don't know the responsibility of a senator and most likely voted him because of one inconceivable reason or another, that I blame. Wizkid - Electric Vibe. (Now Playing). |
This is completely satirical. You are saying we should leave them to be dreaming big; when reality hits them, they will have sense. |
When Buhari did this they said he was making a mockery of the pandemic and being insensitive — I just weak. |
24kmagic:I must say that your signature and your comment are completely diverse. |
After reading and reading all the opinions and counter opinions, I have come to the conclusion that the OP is the husband in question. ![]() |
KingSatan:Sorry if you took it the wrong way but that is primarily what you are driving at, especially when you keep on hinging your argument on the fact that the boy has been rejected and is a thief. I don't know why you are choosing to focus on the negative character of a young boy who has been abandoned by his father and now he is being tossed around and unwanted. I have seen something similar which is why I want to overlook his negative character. Besides, for you to conceive the thought that the boy can be capable of rape man, I rest my case. There is no remission for you on this, lai lai. |
Woman marries a man with two kids from a former union. Woman refuses to accept older child because of his bad influence. Man provides for the home — at least 70%. Reaction. "The man should pursue that wicked woman away. she is coming between him and his children." "The boy was not stealing until the woman came. I don't believe the woman, she is wicked". " The woman has come to destroy the peace in the home" " Stepmothers are the worst — always setting preferences and causing division in homes". |
I think what the OP is advising is that a " pilfering" child should be cast out because his "pilfering" could rub off on the other properly trained children. What Logic. PS: except the child is yours biologically. |
Right now. I don't think we have parents on nairaland. All they probably are still immature, really. Or is it too many movies or what? A child stole at 12 and somebody is asking what he stole, really and is even calling him a thief. See ehn, it's taking me a lot of willpower not to use derogatory words but for the life of me I can't stand the shallow reasoning. The man really has to reach a compromise. The child doesn't deserve to be abandoned. If the child fails to change after some sort of strict conditioning then you can say you tried. Failing to try at all means you failed all together. |
Why are you going as far as twitter when you can just take a stroll on nairaland and see the load of nonsense that is being manufactured by ignorant and illiterate minds. |
