Health / Re: Is Diarrhea After Treating Typhoid Normal? by Ehiscotch(m): 1:47am On Jul 06, 2019 |
Oh, and I usually felt cold and restless at nights during treatment. The cold became mild after I completed three days of injections, but the diarrhea and the nausea which I thought (and I'm still undecided about) were complications from wrong dosage and wrong treatment or delayed treatment of typhoid. I have taken drugs for the diarrhea and mild cold tonight but I still need to ascertain if it is normal when treating typhoid and if the cold was as a result of an infection because the severity declines as the day goes. PS: I know some of you might be disgusted at my ignorance but my decisions were based on my current state. What this experience has taught me, man. I used to think I was unafraid of death and would usually focus on praying for my pillars (my parents). And yeah I was depressed and tired at certain stages. In all, I give God Glory and look forward to getting better. Cc Lalasticlala. |

my sister's friend informed me that her mother, who is a nurse in another LGA, would be coming home for the weekend. So I foolishly boycotted going for typhoid injection which my elder brother advised just to wait to be properly treated for malaria. You might be puzzled at my refusing to go for test, which is a simple, life-saving practice most Nigerians are guilty of not doing. Uh, you know the economy isn't particularly favoring and I felt 'hey, it's malaria, the money spent on a test would be used for treatment or feeding'. Try To Never Think This Way. Your guess is as good as mine: it didn't work out. And an error in communication, which was as a result of me not 'hearing' our local dialect led me to taking the wrong dosage of drugs with the three injections I was given. During which I suffered from constant sneezing, I eventually went for the typhoid injections and got seriously better after three days except for the now returned diarrhea and nausea. |

Hy, Doctors in the house. They say ' a problem shared is half-solved'. I am sharing this bearing in mind that I obviously should go for a test -- I just want to get your opinions first. Here goes. I left work early a couple of Tuesdays ago after experiencing body aches. viola! I came to a what seems now to be a rather ill-thought conclusion that it would be malaria. My hypothesis was due to the 'heavy' presence of mosquitoes and it usually was malaria -- or typhoid. well, after three days of treatment with Camosunate ( a drug with serious lethargy as its side effect) I was better -- save lethargy and diarrhea. To cut the story short, the fever returned a few days after although the diarrhea ceased when I took a drug for it . |

The only thing that concerns us with Laura is that she's Linda's sister and nothing else. So stop pushing her in our faces as the only thing she does is to flaunt clothes on IG. |

Edo girls are the most predominant set of sex slaves in the world. It is so bad that these girls are tricked into slavery by their fellow community people -- people who they trust. PS: But Op, those girls aren't really covered up, are those really pictures of them in Russia? 38 Likes 1 Share |

Politics shouldn't be mixed with Security of human life. The government is in their rights to beef up security personnel in these states that experienced violence with regards to the happenings in Feb 23. I am not even bothered because the APC can't win in the SS (not yet). My concern is just for a more peaceful election. 12 Likes 1 Share |

Atiku shouldn't relent in taking this case to court. He should continue to strive until he gets to the Supreme Court and realises that the Nigerian electoral laws are in shambles and in need of reforms. His spy body cameras and all what not can barely do anything. He needs substantial and overwhelming evidence that would counter the 4 million margin. 108 Likes 3 Shares |

The Lion is innocent. It's only its nature, as it sees humans as food (meat). Runtown really needs to listen and not being raising a lion to flaunt on IG; it is not an inanimate car, shoe, Patek Philip or Gucci. This one would eat you when it has a real hunger for flesh and not milk. |

Some of the killings you see in the newspapers or on social media are as a result of inter or intra-communal clashes that have been going on for decades. Not every killing is by herdsmen but by cultist or other political thugs. The easiest way to resolving these issue is by community policing and by its leaders and its people reaching a compromise. The government can't send soldiers to every point in these areas. Sometimes your security is in your own hands. PS: I am in Benue State. |

So many countries have pulled out of this by steadily and consciously making concerted efforts in areas of the infrastructure, agriculture. So much pseudo-intellectualism has been expressed by some comments earlier. It's pathetic how many Nigerians believe we were on a path to progress under 16 years of the PDP. It disgusts me when people who claim to be exceedingly intelligent and discerning cannot but fail to realize that Nigeria was headed for the rocks with our "consuming" economy. I hate to reiterate these facts that were so glaring. Even the Elementary economics textbooks warned against a mono-economy and cites the Nigerian economy as a classic example. I don't really wanna delve into details but have it mind, the Nigerian economy has never been better. 13 Likes 3 Shares |

Somewhere in the East, there are several Atikulators who are somehow hoping for a miracle, some are even telling others not to give up until the final results, the rest are acting all certain -- playing the devil's advocate by boldly claiming that Atiku will win here and here and do this and that and win. Well, keep the hopes alive. Atiku still has a chance of winning when the Nairaland and Twitter Official results are announced. 19 Likes 1 Share |

Oh, see you. Atiku's act of being "the democrat" has flunked woefully. You all thought that script could fool us, so you amplified Buhari's militarism and exaggerated Atiku's "democratic" persona. Oh please, not being in the military doesn't equate to being a democrat. Democracy is not enriching the elite --yourself and your friends. Pretty much explains why you won the highbrow areas ( like VGC) and FCT. I guess you all didn't include congratulating Buhari in the script. 112 Likes 7 Shares |

After you all lured Atiku into wasting campaign funds not only in the Primary but in the General election. I thought you were smart, discerning, and objective but I discovered you are one of those sycophants who struggle to remain politically relevant. Atiku stood no chance against Buhari, we told you all but you never listened; trying to repaint and rebrand the image of a theif wouldn't cut it -- not against a man of Buhari's calibre. Besides, why are you being sympathetic on social media? Don't you have his phone number? 5 Likes 2 Shares |
