Travel / Re: Is Virgin Nigeria Fraudulent? I Cant Understand Their New Tactics by eiete(f): 7:16pm On Apr 16, 2009 |
It's not only VN that does it. It is done here in the UK aswell. BA, Virgin Atlantic have similar ticketing procedures. Prices advertised online are different from prices offered at the ticketing desk. And some of the prices online have a set period in which you have to depart or arrive to pay the advertised price. Online ticketing is just a way of encouraging people by luring them with cheap prices to book and pay for their ticket online, especially for short haul flight; therefore eliminating the middleman. |

My sister! well in my parents days it is the couple getting married that foots the bill. As a sign of curtsey the invited bridesmaid can then offer to pay some of the bill. But now days with everybody wanting to belong, people have forgotten how to cut their coat according to their size. |

I don't know if it's just the Nigerian stations NTA and AIT here in the UK that are not showing it. In fact since the show started on the 29th of April i have only watched it twice on NTA and it did not last up to 5 mins before thay began to show one one rubbish documentry. AIT have not shown it at all. All they show is nollywood movies as if the moviestar channel is not enough. Pls NLders in 9ja is the same thing happing on naija tv stations there? I am tired of hugging the remote from 10pm and having looks that could kill from my folks. |

Romance / Re: The Girl I Want To Marry Is SS: I'm Dying Inside by eiete(f): 9:50pm On Feb 24, 2009 |
All this is starting to piss me off. All these questions on wheather or not to marry them is becoming something else. People who are AS and SS, don't they also deserve to be happy, don't they deserve to be loved aswell? Why punish them for circumstances that are no fault of theirs. She has done the right thing by leting you know of her genotype so now you guys need to sit down and discuse the issue like adults, and come up with the next plan of action. At the end of the day the discision is left to both of you as it's your lives and no nairalander or your parents can live it for you. |

Politics / Re: Police Parade Goat As Robbery Suspect In Kwara! by eiete(f): 2:44pm On Jan 26, 2009 |
Looool! Only in Naija does this happen. I don't trust those vigilante groups or whatever they call themselves. They have seen a great opportunity and exploited it. I petty the sheep abi na goat. A while ago i was watching NTA International and a reporter was trying to interview the sheep. Imagine them showing all that; so that the world can see how the nigerian police parades a sheep as a robbery suspect. |
