Travel / Re: People Afraid of Flying: What Remedy? by eiete(f): 11:35pm On Jun 08, 2008
Well if it's your first time flying, it's bound to be a little fighting.

As for your younger brother feeling chilling that is because

of the ventilation system on the plane, which makes the cabin feel cold;

and that can be resolved by asking for extra blankets.

But to help you calm & relax your nerves  before and during your flight
you should go visit your doctor or pharmacist and ask him or her
to prescribe you Avomine or any related medication for traveling
sickness. That I think should do the trick.

Look, if this woman's child bothers you, then please do not marry her. Let her and her child find a man who will love and want them both.

Exactly!

The child is part of the package, so take it or leave it.

Out of all the military planes Nigeria has, you don't mean to tell

me they could not find one to use in flying this men to their

destination? They did not die in the battle field but in their

own country which they thought would be safer than the battle ground.

Though it grieves me to say this but Shame on Nigeria.
Politics / Re: California's Top Court Legalizes Gay Marriage by eiete(f): 1:01pm On May 26, 2008
omoovie:

Abegi, gay people are the least of our problems! California has been full of gay people since the 1920s. There is an actual tribe in Papua New Guinea (around Australia I think) that has been have "unnatural friendships" aka gay guys for centuries. Homosexuality is not new in so many cultures around the globe. Naija get bigger issues to confront than that nonsense. If d next question na if na my family nko? Eh-hen and so? DHL d relation abroad where them go dey very free to do wetin them want focus on d issues wey dey face naija! Haba. all d way to California. Na this b our problem - deviation from the goal and lack of cohesion. Who cares if gay people can now marry? There are worse things - like "transgenders" embarassedlipsrsealed around!

Are you baseing this on fact  beacause you have been there or hear say?

Religion / Re: Nigerian Churches And Noise Pollution by eiete(f): 2:28pm On May 21, 2008
@ poster

You are right when it comes to African Churches making a lot of noise.
And am saying this not to offend  anyone but i feel the truth has to be said.

We feel the nosier the better.

Volume control is not part of our vocabulary.

I was in Nigeria on holidays this Christmas and every time i went to church,
i had to take pain killers when i got home because during the church service i had
developed a headache from the loud noise.

When the choir was singing i had to go and stand at the back of the church because from where i was
seating it looked like the people on piano, the drums, the guitar and the base guitarist where all struggling
to be the loudest, yet they said they had a sound technician.
