Blofeld: Hello Engr EnochOgaga, many thanks for the good work, apt responses and advise. My SUMEC FIRMAN 2500 generator suddenly stopped producing power yesterday. My appliances stopped working but the gen was still running. My mechanic came to check it this morning and said that the AVR was bad. He replaced the AVR with another component he called an ''iron diode''. He explained that the diode works like a capacitor on tiger engines that i should never consider increasing the speed of the generator because the output voltage can be too high.
The gen is working fine but do you think i should install a proper AVR on the gen or should i just continue running the gen with the iron diode??
Expecting your response.
Thank you! What exactly is your reason for jettisoning th recommended AVR? I'd suggest you replace with an AVR as that is a higher technology as it stabilises voltage |

If I were the driver, I would move fast and press on the brake. Then reverse over the fallen idiots.
I dislike foolish thieving idiots.
Why can't they gather and go to a politicians house to show themselves. They can't group up to visit Aso Rock but can put a poor man like themselves in debt. I'm telling you! They know the houses of their representatives, yet they won't go there and carry out their anger. |

frebor: Assuming you did a mix of city and highway driving to get 280 miles and your tank took up to 70L on your next refill, 15mpg is short of the rated 18mpg.
Your car is a 18 year old machine, expect a drop in performance. Thanks for the response... It was on highway.. Enugu to Abuja. City is a little less. Let's say between 230-250. Thanks for your opinion |

Pls is the fuel consumption normal? |

I just quietly go Uyo the next day after marina resort! emmy512: YOUR INFORMATION IS OUTDATED AS REGARDS TINAPA. ITS AN ABANDONED PLACE. NO ONE DOES ANYTHING CONCERNING CHRISTMAS THERE. THERE ARE NO MALLS AS YOU SAID EXISTING. THE PLACE NOW LOOKS LIKE THE SET OF THE WALKING DEAD OR OTHER SCARY ABANDONED PLACES. SINCE DONALD DUKE LEFT OFFICE WE'VE NOT HAD A TINAPA . EVEN ARCADE CENTRE NO LONGER EXISTING. YOU CAN ONLY GO THERE TO SIT QUIETLY AND MAKE OUT WITH YOUR BABE WITHOUT TOO MUCH EYES ON YOU. |
