Get a new one. The dead battery was probably on its way out when you purchased the generating set.

Thanks

My gen key starter battery seems to be dead barely 5 months of usage.. can the battery be charged or I need to get a new one?

Hello Engr EnochOgaga, many thanks for the good work, apt responses and advise. My SUMEC FIRMAN 2500 generator suddenly stopped producing power yesterday. My appliances stopped working but the gen was still running. My mechanic came to check it this morning and said that the AVR was bad. He replaced the AVR with another component he called an ''iron diode''. He explained that the diode works like a capacitor on tiger engines that i should never consider increasing the speed of the generator because the output voltage can be too high.

The gen is working fine but do you think i should install a proper AVR on the gen or should i just continue running the gen with the iron diode??

Expecting your response.

Thank you!

What exactly is your reason for jettisoning th recommended AVR? I'd suggest you replace with an AVR as that is a higher technology as it stabilises voltage

Your statement is truly stupid.
You think after driving and killing people, you will come out alive? You must be crazy.

I don't have a response for you as you feel entitled to people's goods and can't even pass a message across without showing you were not well brought up.

The driver is a poor man like them and they have now put him in trouble.

If I were the driver, I would move fast and press on the brake. Then reverse over the fallen idiots.

I dislike foolish thieving idiots.

Why can't they gather and go to a politicians house to show themselves. They can't group up to visit Aso Rock but can put a poor man like themselves in debt.

I'm telling you! They know the houses of their representatives, yet they won't go there and carry out their anger.

I said I'm not certain it's covid19 because they were not tested for it then neither did they test it now... But it has the same severe symptoms and it's very contagious according to their narrative. I will edit the title to reflect possible cases of covid19

Are you saying something that started in wuhan in December was in Nigeria in November?

Well, this might be a different strain entirely but it dates back to September. If only test can be carried out for covid 19 antibodies right now

Do you know how many of such symptoms an average Dr sees in a single duty? Covid19 is in a class of its own in aggression and virulence, try to seek a Doctors opinion before posting trash.

If you read the attached, you will find out that some of those affected where doctors too

From what I've gotten from Twitter, this virus has been around since September 2019 right here in Nigeria. These are testimonies from people that suffered from it. Although it's not confirmed to be but you will agree with me, those are same symptoms being described as covid19 right now.

PS: look at the time stamp of the tweets
