Wow. I tried to use that option when I was still working in Nigeria to receive money and it never worked. The banks should advertise that more. That's good o. So I can send money to my family in Nigeria with just the swift code of the bank and it will go.

Really cannot tell why it didn't work for you. Several factors may have been involved which I would not want to delve into here but yes you can send money to your family in Nigeria with their swift code and account number.

You mean I can receive money from UK with my Stanbic bank account?

Please enlighten me.

Yes, give the sender your bank swift code and your naira account number that's all.

Have you been able to send from a DOM? how did you do it

It's no biggie actually provided you can give a verifiable reason for the transfer for AML/CFT checks by CBN

I am talking of your naira account not a dollar account. You don't need a dollar account to receive money in Chile with a swift code. The bank automatically converts the money to pesos in your account.

You can receive with your naira account but can only send with a domiciliary account

Taxes in Chile

Back in Nigeria, if you wanted to issue an invoice, you would need to just do it yourself manually which makes zero sense. Here you issue invoice through SII. SII is the government agency in charge of tax here in Chile. After issuing the invoice you pay a certain amount 15 percent as the value added tax here. The thing Is you cant lie on this form cause even your employers depending on the jurisdiction they are in will also need that information for tax references in their own country. So the figure has to be correct and complete.

When you issue this receipt, the system takes note and reminds you to pay the tax before the 12th of the next month.

The banking system here while restrictive is actually quite good. For instance, with the most basic account you can have here, you can receive money from any country in the world. You only need to give the person the swift code of the bank and your bank account and they would send the money and the bank converts it to Chilean pesos into your account. I know it's a long short but if something similar is implemented in Nigeria with reasonable exchange rates. The exchange rates here are the same for both bank and black market, won't it help with dollar shortages? Also sending money from here is also quite easy too. You can send money from your bank app to literally any place you want.

You can have a dollar account and PayPal and all of that but hardly anyone uses it here. People just use their bank accounts and they are good with that.

You can actually receive funds from overseas directly into your bank account in Nigeria using swift code and Iban but you can't send money from Nigeria except you have a domiciliary account

I have lots of diasporans who left your shithole country after being jobless for years like almost every other graduates. They later went abroad a saner climes, whose government aren't corrupt nor worship money. They talk how airport staff had turned to beggars begging every diasporans returning home money. Also those leaving are being tax. It is in their blood. Stop defending anything. You're not more Nigerian than any other persons Mr patriotic

Find your strength and monetize it joor. No introvert should be broke in this age of work from home?

The only thing I dislike about us is lack of friends, bridge burning and perfectionist tendencies.

This perfectionist tendencies sucks when you are a writer with speech and writing disabilities. I have forgotten the word for it. But then we keep learning.

Introverts are warriors and problem solvers. Broad spectrum thinkers and love pursuing knowledge via the reading of books.

So why should such a person be broke?

You have no reason joor. Go work on yourself and monetize your values.

Shalom.

The emboldened is just so true. Chai! Lack of friends and bridge burning is my area of specialisation cry

Many cases of babies dying with mothers, mothers in law or nannies and the same hypocrites will just waka pass like nothing happened. Abeg everybody should rest, to every mallam his own kettle - do what works for you and move the fukk on no need to shove your own opinion down another person's throat.

Not nobody is going to support this stupid act by this stupid woman.children who know nothing becoming mothers cus they started sex at 12 she shld go to her village and ask her grand parents how its been done before taking in again..and no body is going to support the stupid sch for accepting a todler cuz of cash..both the sch and the mother should be sued by civil right society

Because you have an available sibling or relative does not mean every other person has one and the fact that you are calling a 3 month old a toddler already shows I should not be having this discussion with you.

BS continued.

After first half of 45mins my dear mamas I began to see stars. The contractions that hit me ehn plus the way show that I was looking for with torchlight since was coming ehn, DH said lets go back. The contractions were coming back to back after 3mins. I told DH to lets hold on na oga say he no get experience for midwifery grin grin so we headed back to the hospital that wed(yesterday) night.

Getting to the hospital, the doc on duty whom I saw the previous night said who asked you to go back home? Was that the agreement? See me see quanta o no be your colleague pursue me? So I was taken to labour ward. My sisters with those contractions I dey ginger say I don reach like 8cm but you wouldn't like to see the expression on my face when doc said I was 4cm. shocked shocked

So we were there for the night it was still childsplay till this morning around 6am. OMG I cannot describe what I experienced. The most painful thing I have ever experienced in my life. For those who think induction is more painful than natural pls dont indulge me in that conversation the argument doesn't hold water o. It all depends on each labour mbok.

At about 9am I was begging them to let me push o because I couldn't bear it again. Nurse say e be like I wan tear my cervix abi that I am still 7cm OMG I died and resurrected. She kept encouraging me that before 12 or 1 I'll deliver. I almost slapped her. Here i am at 9am feeling like I wanted to just throw out baby and you are taking 12 or 1. I kept screaming I want to poopoo o give me pain reliever. They injected paracetamol shit was just as if they injected water undecided pain was even more than before angry.

At about past 11, I told the nurse the cervix can go to hell for all I care I was going to start pushing because I cannot die of pain. So she checked and said see baby's head i should move to the delivery bed immediately. I ďidnt even wait for her to finish her statement I jumped up immediately. When we got to the delivery bed, I didnt wait for instructions I started to push from the first contraction. Baby's head came out with the second contraction and the body with the third. Nurse was blaming me for the tears that I started pushing when she had not asked me to and that was why I had the slight tears. She stitched me while they cleaned baby after they took him from my chest.

He weighed 3kg at birth despite the plenty bread, butter and yoghurt undecided

Thank you all for reading and pls pardon any blunder.

Cc Krystalluv, cappo I don submit o and I wish all waddling mamas safe and easy delivery plus baby dust to GTC mamas

Dec teamies, it was nice doing business with you. grin

Make I go finish my bottle of water

BS continued.

We packed my things into the car and headed for the hospital. Getting to the hospital doc said I was 2cm dilated undecided lipsrsealed but that they would admit me and watch me. I would have objected but I hd pans to tell them to augment the labour if it didn't progress fast cos I was already tired.

By Wed morning no serious improvement so the doc on night duty the saw me said I should remind in the hospital till he resumes in the evening and if no progress still, they would help me.

By afternoon, the doc on duty said the gynae asked her to send me back home since there was no progress and I wasn't up to 41 weeks. The hospital does not induce till you are 41 weeks plus. Chai! I wan crase embarassed

So DH said we should go back home because I was still trying to convince the doctor to induce me as I had passed my EDD

Then we packed and went home. Getting home, I made dinner amala with okro soup. Sat down to watch Chelsea match with DH as per this life ah kant kee mysef o anytime guyman wan show make e show undecided.

Good evening mamas

Here is my BS.

Had my first child in 2019 also through VD so I thought as an experienced person no shaking na but this one taught me that no two pregnancies are the same.

My due date was 26th December so when I passed it I started getting tired. Did all I could to induce labour naturally still no show cry at least for my first I saw signs and delivered before due date.

On Saturday night which was my edd I started having mild contractions which were not so painful and were not consistent, coming after 30mins to 1hr. I just ignored the guy, meanwhile I had already started to ginger for induction after reading some posts on this thread. grin

The contractions continued till tues evening when they became more intense and frequent. DH say let's go to the hospital o.

I dey come make I drink water grin grin
