Not true. There is nothing to understand because it’s a fallacy. Shell does not recruit based on where you come from in Nigeria. It’s sheer competence and everybody has equal right. Only federal government parastatals are obliged by that rule. Imagine you tell me as a private company owner of an international company that I must employ every tribe of this country.
Factual and logical enough...

I salute Shell for this. Priority is given to those not moving on in the race. Hardly seen this in companies. The normal is that you wait till you start advising yourself by yourself.

But, this "Assessment in Progress" sucks a lot o... No one knows the fate of these ones...

Hmmm! It's well.

I wish those contacted with the not-so-good news a better news soon.

Cheers to everyone!!!

It's close by and the favoured shall rejoice and the ones left out in the race shall also rejoice according His time and purpose! Shalom!!

My source is more of spiritual than physical so don't ask me for a physical proof. On a lighter note, I have this same strong feeling; fromTuesday next week.

CONGRATULATION in advance my fellow prospective DPR colleagues!

@scrollmeout
@NNBB2012
@chukdee
@Manmeta
They have been of great support to me in my PR paroles.
I lodger my application to EA on the 11th of April this year,and the outcome came in early today 21st April 2016 I did the fast track one.I applied as a professional Engineer, but in the outcome letter, they said my qualification is equivalent to Engineering Technologist. And that my degree is equivalent to Australia Qualification Framework as bachelors degree. I want to know if this qualifies me to v the 15points.

I wrote IELTS last year, I had above the 6.0 band score but my score didn't fetch me points.however I did PTE jst last month on the 16th of match, result came out early the following day,17th march.
Listening 81
Reading 90
Speaking 84
Writing 80
As it is now, my total points accumulated
English test -20 points
Age-32----- 25 or 30 points,by end of November I wld b a year older, I really don't know which point to pick 25 or 30
Bachelors degree(elect/ elect engineering with telecommunications option--------- 15
Total points= 60 or 65 depending on age point
I want the dons in the house to clarify on the engineering technologist thing.
Thanks house..
According to EngineersAustralia, the Assessing body of the Engineers, you need a Masters Degree to be classed under the Professional Engineer.

Well I have had my interview. Like has been said earlier get all ur documents set with photocopies of each of them. All the documents required are listed in the text invite for the interview. If u don't have a first leaving school certificate (for people like me that didn't attend primary school,lol) then go with ur birth certificate and waec- they cover for the flsc. Errhm...dress well. Both ladies and guys. Heard dressing counts. Peps had to borrow jacket and ties sef. So carry ur own. The current affairs questions were really really really random. So were the technical questions too. My thought is that no technical reading will make any difference right now. On the average they seem to ask each applicants three or four questions.
Ehn ehn, the tfare is 5k not ten. I collect am like that sha.
Then based on some document I saw(as a sharp Delta guy) the interview and cbt both contribute to the final score. The interview has more weight tho.
The stuff is really competitive and a lot of things seem to be coincidental. So regardless of how the interview goes, don't loose hope. I no this sounds cliche but a bit of prayer should help.
Success peps!
I forgot to say this earlier. Two passports are needed.
The CBT is 50 and the interview carries 50 marks.

I don't knw about IMO again. Be like sey they don remove us from NDDC
No no no.....I feel for u guyz. The thing is Imo, Abia and Ondo are most likely going to have smaller quota, then if ur Ogas at the top won't remove their eyes from this widow's mite, then u knw u might score 48 yet end up not being called for lack of slot.
All d same, keep ur hopes. I have a friend who got his invite for d test 2 days after I got mine. The same thing may repeat here.
Cheers!

Need your thoughts.

1. Can NDDC pay the awarding university all neccessary fess if you decide to do their online program and remain here in naija cos of your job.

2. Would you forgo NDDC SCHOLARSHIP, if you just got good paying job with an annual salary of over N5,000,000 with a car. You have to choose between going to some UK school and getting Masters and then coming back to get a job OR accept this job offer as stated above (by the way I Already have a Masters degree from UNILAG.

My fellow nairalanders, your thoughts pls
Stick with ur job bro.....experience is what matters......wth ur fat salary, u can afford d UK Cert later. Then the experience + UK Cert wud shoot u better. Afterall, d essence of this UK Cert things is 2 land a gud job. My thot tho.
