RealityOfReason: After 64 years of independence, a transformer is still putting the whole country in darkness? Sometimes I wonder how Nigeria is still standing as one
. They don't even feel ashamed when they give a trivial reason for their national failure!
koldrun: I was trying to prepare dinner about 2 hours ago, when boiling water poured on my leg. I was rushed to a nearby hospital, where I was administered first aid, and then the doctor prescribed some drugs. I have a feeling that this might be a third degree scald. Your suggestions are welcome on how to treat this.
. Sorry ooo Pls get anti tetanus injection fast The wound should be treated too.
. This is tragic. However this is not the solution. A man was brought from Ekiti to Lagos to serve a man who promised to take him to London for schooling. After 7 years he reneged his promise. The man wanted to incinerate his motor assembly where he sold cars to people . It was a man who advised him that it would make him go to jail for many years that changed his plan.Where is the young man today?
He has a wife with four children. He has a school ,a house and a fine car. His daughter is in a private institution now. Please don't let let human foibles make you terminate your life. In life thee are ups and downs.May God be with us!
attackgat: Yoruba Nation Leader, Sunday Igboho, arrived the seat of British Government today, at No 10 Downing Street, to submit a petition calling on the British government to support the independence of the Yoruba ethnic group from Nigeria
You must be crazy with your letter. The British government must have torn the letter by now!
phantom: It's really unfortunate! 😔.. Next time, vote with your head and not your heart. Shun tribalism and religion... those sentiments get us no where!
. You need to understand that it was Hausas that Hausas that decided the last votes. In 2027 SE will vote Obi SW will vote Tinubu while the North will decide the winner Do not blame any voter but blame the continuous regional rotational politics we practice in Nigeria
Anybody that the North fully supports can win in 2027.I sincerely am yet to see the man now. Obi categorically is not in the picture for now. Apology to him and the SE!
. Were there congregations in the time of apostles? Yes Did they pay tithes? No How did they contribute to support God's house? Voluntary contributions. 2Cor 9:7
Preciousgirl: Romans 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
What is the meaning of this verse?
The death of Jesus Christ is the end of the Mosaic law. Christians today are no longer under the Mosaic Law including the payment of tithe. The principles in the law are applied today by Christians Col 2:12-14
As christians we are guided now by the law of the Christ
. Christendom and deception! Tithe is for the Israelites.First century Christians did not pay tithe but donated as they possessed 11 Cor 9:7 )God loves cheerful givers. You will know the truth and it will set you free (John 8:44)

. We are waisting money. This will not change anything in Nigeria There is no substitute for affordability of fuel for people to be on the roads with their preferred vehicles.
maasoap: Chai! It means Yusuf Ibrahim actually murdered somebody but due to the prosecution handling the case poorly, the criminal was asked to walk away freely by the court! Not the first time in Nigeria anyway that prosecution counsel would handle a confirmed murder case poorly and the court/judge would be given no other choice than to free the "accused". The one who killed a person in Lagos state, dismembered the body and dumped it trash plastic was eventually freed by the judge when he was brought to court for hearing on three different occasions but the prosecution didn't turn up on those occasions
. The law does not walk in that way! When a murder case is committed ,it must be reported at a police station. The DPP may have to advise on it. Forensic proof may be needed.. In fact there must an autopsy report connecting the stabbing to the death. All these and other evidences are required to establish a murder case. The lives of both the accused and the dead are necessary. How are we sure what occured really took place. In some cases a poor prosecution like this arises when the deceased family is not interested in the case again. The state team will just make some feeble appearances towards the final settlement out of court.
. He looks like an anti riot police man? Who will give a mobile police bribe? He only knows how to quell riot .Inspectors and other officers on the duty in offices like DPO and above know what it means to collect bribe?
jbrownies: Your kidneys are vital to your overall health, filtering waste and excess fluids from your body. However, certain every day habits can harm these essential organs. Your kidneys might not have a voice, but if they did, they'd beg you to stop doing the following harmful activities.
Habits to Avoid for Kidney Health
1. Consuming Too Much Salt A high-sodium diet can cause your kidneys to work overtime, leading to high blood pressure and eventually kidney damage. Many processed foods, snacks, and even some restaurant dishes are loaded with salt, so monitoring your sodium intake is important.
2. Not Drinking Enough Water Dehydration is one of the main reasons kidney stones develop. Water helps flush out toxins and prevents the formation of Kidney stones.
3. Excessive Use of Painkillers Frequent use of over-the-counter pain relievers like ibuprofen, aspirin, or naproxen can damage your kidneys, especially if used in high doses over a long period. These medications reduce blood flow to the kidneys, causing stress and eventually leading to kidney problems. If you're experiencing pain, it’s best to consult a doctor to find safer alternatives.
4. Eating Too Much Protein While protein is essential for your body, consuming excessive amounts, especially from red meat, can strain your kidneys. Breaking down protein produces waste that your kidneys must filter out, and too much of it can lead to kidney overload.
5. Smoking and Excessive Alcohol Consumption Both smoking and heavy alcohol use can harm your kidneys by reducing blood flow and raising your risk of high blood pressure and diabetes—two leading causes of kidney disease. Reducing or eliminating these habits can significantly lower your risk of kidney damage.
6. Ignoring Symptoms of Kidney Problems Pain in your lower back, changes in urination, and unexplained fatigue can all signal kidney issues. Ignoring these symptoms can allow conditions to worsen, so it’s important to see a doctor if anything feels off.
How to Maintain Healthy Kidneys?
Taking care of your kidneys is crucial for your overall well-being. Here are some ways to keep them in top shape:
1. Stay Hydrated Drinking enough water is essential for kidney health. Water helps flush out toxins and prevents the formation of kidney stones. Aim for about 8-10 glasses of water per day, but adjust based on your individual needs, activity level, and climate.
2. Maintain a Balanced Diet Your diet plays a significant role in kidney health. Eating a balanced diet that's low in sodium, rich in fruits and vegetables, and moderate in protein helps lighten the load on your kidneys. Also, try to limit your intake of processed foods.
3. Control Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar Levels High blood pressure and diabetes are leading causes of kidney damage. Keeping these conditions in check with the right diet, exercise, and medication can significantly reduce your risk of kidney disease.
4. Exercise Regularly Regular physical activity helps maintain a healthy weight, lower blood pressure, and improve overall cardiovascular health—all of which support proper kidney function. Even moderate exercise, like walking or cycling, can make a big difference.
5. Avoid Excessive Use of Painkillers Use medications only when necessary, and always follow the dosage instructions. If you experience chronic pain, consult your doctor about alternatives that are less harmful to your kidneys.
6. Monitor Your Health Regularly Regular check-ups can help catch kidney issues early, especially if you have a family history of kidney disease, diabetes, or high blood pressure. Regular blood tests and urine analysis can help assess your kidney function and overall health.
Foods to Eat for Healthy Kidneys.
What you eat can either help or harm your kidneys. Here are some kidney-friendly foods to include in your diet:
1. Leafy Greens Spinach, kale, and other leafy greens are packed with vitamins and minerals that support kidney health. They are low in potassium and high in antioxidants, making them excellent for your kidneys.
2. Berries Blueberries, strawberries, and raspberries are rich in antioxidants that can help protect your kidneys from oxidative stress. They also contain fiber, which supports healthy digestion and reduces the workload on your kidneys.
3. Garlic Garlic is a natural anti-inflammatory food that helps reduce inflammation in the kidneys. It also helps lower cholesterol and protect against kidney disease.
4. Cauliflower This vegetable is high in fiber and a great source of vitamin C, which can boost your kidney function. It also contains compounds that help your body neutralize toxins.
5. Apples Apples are high in fiber and contain anti-inflammatory properties that can benefit your kidneys. They also help regulate blood sugar levels, which is important for preventing diabetes-related kidney damage.
6. Fish Rich in Omega-3 Fatty Acids Salmon, mackerel, and sardines are high in omega-3s, which help reduce inflammation in the kidneys and lower blood pressure. Omega-3s are essential for maintaining kidney health and preventing chronic kidney disease.
7. Cranberries Cranberries are known to prevent urinary tract infections, which can help keep your kidneys healthy. They help prevent bacteria from sticking to the urinary tract lining, reducing the risk of infections that could harm your kidneys.
Conclusion Your kidneys are working hard every day to keep your body balanced and free of toxins. By making small lifestyle changes—like reducing salt, staying hydrated, and eating kidney-friendly foods—you can ensure they stay healthy for years to come. Listen to the silent signals your kidneys might be sending and make the necessary changes now before it’s too late. Your kidneys will thank you!

Good piece
1. HBP is believed to be precipated by kidney and liver issues. However 98 percents of people with HBP have perfect kidneys and livers. What is the cause then? The inherit it from their parents.
2. Many people who smoke cigarette will never go to hospital for check up. They may be healthy in appearance but there are always issues inside. For example whoever smokes cigarette will have his lungs black in the XRay photograph.
3.Smoking and excessive alcohol can affect kidneys but there a few people who even abuse them yet they live longer. The best thing however is to be modest in everythibg because what happens to A may not be so for B.
danijesus: the supreme court is one of the problem we have in Nigeria
When Oyetola lost in 2022,I knew he was used as sacrifice for other elections. it was that judgement that revealed the relevance of IREV on Nigerian elections
danijesus: so u mean the hard copy cannot be tempered with? Oga elections under APC is a joke
. That is the position of the SC .Oyetola APC Osun suffered for the same thing in 2023 when the SC held that iREV results did not hold water but emphasis was placed on the voters' register ND INEC hard copies!
danijesus: the one read by eyeneck at the polling booth and the one on the irev portal is it different?
Regardless of any difference, the SC on the cases Cited held that IREV results coukd be tampered with electronically and in some other ways. That is why it gave prominence the signed hard copy results used in the election and read by INEC.
