Please understand my post. Thanks. BananaTree: If you ever attended both, you'll understand that boy. Well, I did. At a point, I regretted why the polytechnic gave me a good result that qualifies me for a DE. This trend affected all of us who got in through DE. We staggered, felt the heat but never surrendered. Not surrendering is the only thing the polytechnic education left in us. Of course, UTME students had their fair share of the pain, torture and academic brutality. In good federal universities in this country, academics is rigorous. |

Typical 9ja (one man) mentality. So because you read and studied with a textbook which has over 2k pages then boom!!! You automatically become better than someone who studied with a tutor note which is less than 200 pages? Are you sure you are a university graduate at all? Because your basis for comparison seems vague, insignificant and inconsequential. yusman14: BSC is ahead.. University students pass through alot of academics activities compared to poly students... in poly, lecturers sell handouts and other materials that are not even up to 200pages per course in a semester... Engineering here in OAU is very crazy.. only halliday(PHY101) textbook is like 2000+ pages and It was just for 100level.. Now in 200l we did engineering mechanics too and other engineering courses...mhen so bulky... The D.E guys that joined us in 200l can't cope and they all made distinctions and upper credit in poly....na war to them...from UTME sef the difference is clear University graduates are ahead of polytechnic graduates... |

You're a good man; so I think. gaby: My Persona/ How i live
I'm naturally shy and reserved but when i get comfy i can be a chatter.I thrive better expressing myself in writing though than talking.
Saying i'm sorry is the easiest and quickest word i can say.
I respect people a lot so i find myself sometime hoping into a public commuter and greeting everyone in the bus or cab and when i'm alighting i don't forget to thank the driver or conductor for the ride. Some people look at me like wetin dey do this one but its become second nature.
I am blunt to a fault and pretty well opinionated and this hasn't earned me very much friends.
If i call you a friend i'll tend to you and yours before facing mine.
I'm temperamental(under works though) owing majorly to verbal abuses growing up and my subsequent life experiences i.e my journey.
My weakest point as a man..i love women but now a changed man as i've grown older and more matured and also realizing how much powers women wield. Ubuja et al @the bolded. |

Politics › Re: Appeal Court Orders Rerun In Abi/yakurr Federal Constituency by Ekakamba: 8:06pm On Nov 04, 2019 |
Omo! garfield1: By Rapheal 1 min ago Appeal Court overturns tribunal judgment on Egbona as Ndoma-Egbe loses out to Onor Enyeribe Ejiogu and Judex Okoro, Calabar Court of Appeal sitting in Calabar, yesterday set aside the judgment of the National Assembly Election Petition Tribunal, which sacked the Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Petroleum Downstream Committee, Dr. Alex Egbona. The Appeal Court presided over by Justice Tijani Abubakar, however, ruled that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, should conduct a fresh election in Ekureku 1 and 2, being Egbona’s village, within the next 90 days. Reacting to the judgment, Egbona expressed appreciation to the judges for their steadfastness even as he thanked his people for their support and prayers. In a statement, Egbona said: “The Appeal Court sitting in Calabar has set aside the judgment of the elections petition tribunal which nullified my election. The court has also ruled that a fresh election be held in my village, my stronghold, Ekureku 1and 2, within the next 90 days. “From this judgment, those who were celebrating and making preparations to go to Abuja for the inauguration of a man that never won an election have been put to shame. Those who were already dreaming to take over my seat in the House of Reps have been put to shame, alongside their godfathers. The God that we serve, the God of Abi/Yakurr Federal Constituency, the God of the masses that I represent and will continue to represent, is not asleep and has shown today that He is with us. We won yesterday and we will win again. “I can boldly say that even if INEC conducts the election in our constituency 100 times, we will win. I am therefore urging all of you, my followers, fans, and supporters, to remain calm. One battle has been won, the next will come within the next 90 days. In a related development, the Appeal Court upheld the victories of Sen Sandi Onor, Hon. Mick Etaba and Hon Chirs Agibe. The lawmakers representing River Central Senatorial District, Etung Federal Constituency and lkom/Boki Federal Constituency respectively are PDP candidates. In the case of Ndoma Egba, APC, and Onor, the court upheld the decision of the election petition tribunal in Calabar, which earlier declared Onor as duly elected against Sen. Ndoma-Egba in the February 23, 2019, National Assembly elections. In a unanimous judgment the three-man panel, led by Justice T. Abubakar, Justice P.O Elechi and Justice A.A Wambai held that the appeal by Ndoma-Egba lacked merit. Also, the victoryies of Mr. Mike Etaba representing Obubra Etung Federal Constituency (PDP) and Mr. Chris Agibe as the lawmaker representing Ikom/Boki Federal Constituency of Cross River in the National Assembly.
