I submitted on the 17th of March 2023 in Abuja for me and my family totaling 4.
They approved them yesterday 8th March and Issued it the same yesterday 8th March. Im waiting for Pickup Mail from them now.

Submitted my passport for IW on March 23rd and status has finally changed to APPROVED today, Tuesday, May 2nd. Does anyone have any idea how long it will take for me to get my passport? I have a visa appointment on Friday, May 5th and wondering if I will have to reschedule it. Any ideas?

I submitted my application for IW 21st of march, checked this evening and saw it was refused.
Does that mean am to show up for physical interview?
Am yet to receive a pick up mail though.

This is to confirm that the Abuja Center takes exactly 7 weeks to return your passport. So, everyone should calm down and wait for 7 weeks. I submitted on the 17th of March. So, I have 3 more weeks to go.

Depending on the person you met When I got my visa a few years ago, the guy didn't ask me for any of these documents apart from the DS-160 confirmation page.
He focused on knowing the details of my business and how I solve issues encountered in it. I told him all without a blink. He gave me the white paper, and the rest is history.


Your own case might be different. The person you met might request all these documents and more.

Welcome. I will advise you use Lagos as ur IW drop-off location and then choose any city closer to you to receive your document back. Because Abuja is very slow.

I don't think there are any drop-off locations in Enugu or PHC. The only drop-off locations are Lagos and Abuja, but you can receive your passport back at the locations you just mentioned.

I think the normal time for this Abuja is 40 days because i have never seen someone that received his passport back less than those 40 days. So just wait small. you have few days left. IW is generally faster in Lagos. Since March 8th I submitted mine in Abuja, no update has been made. It just shows “Application Received”. It’s just really unfortunate. Worse still is that I need my passport for something more important. I really don’t know what pushed me to do this renewal at this time.
It is indeed well!

1. I think the 6-members you're seeing there are on default. I added me, my wife, and 3 kids, and I still met the same 6 members in the display.
2. I got the same message, and i received another email after a week to schedule an appointment. Yours might be longer or shorter(Mine was renewal) Simply check your email every day, both the spam folder and the inbox.

please I need help. I am a student in the US and my husband and two children have been denied F2 visa twice so they are applying for B1/B2 this time. My husband used his profile for three of them
1. I don't understand why the family details is displaying 6 members when he applied with two children
2. The calendar did not appear so we got this notification on Saturday - "your request to schedule an appointment has been received and will be reviewed. you will receive an email once your request has been approved". What do we do next

Abuja dropbox processing time is taking longer than expected. I dropped off my passport at DHL on the 8th March 2023 while case created on the 9 March 2023 but still the only message that is showing till now is “APPLICATION RECEIVED “ anyone experiencing the same thing from ABUJA.

Please for those that submitted on the 8 of march 2023 or before kindly UPDATE Us on your progress.

It depends on the country visa you want to renew. if its for USA visa, you dont need any money in your account or any bank statment. What they will only collect from you is that DS160 confirmation page and your passpoort.

“ Your case is open and ready for your interview, fingerprints, and required documents. If you have already had your interview, please check your status after two business days. If no interview was required, please check back in two business days for the status of your application.”

If you submitted in Abuja, just wait. a said his own was updated after one month and he got his passport back on the 60th day after his submission. So, like this, I don commot mind. any day I get an email or call from DHL to come and collect my passport, i will go and collect it.

Login to your CGI click on provide feedback. Use Update my DS160 as subject or anything you can use like New DS160 or anything then tell them that you want to change the DS160 forms in in your profile. detail it for them iN this format OLD DS16 - NEW DS160. you can include the names of the applicants. Thats OLD DS160 - NEW DS160 - APPLICANT NAME.

Is cool. congrats. At least your own was updating to show you that something is being done. Mine is just like that with no movement. Though a friend that submitted in that same Abuja said it took one month for this own to be completed

I submitted on the 15th March, case created and first updated on the 17th March and application changed from no status to Application received....as screenshot from the beginning, then modifications continued...20th,23rd,28th,30,31st,3rd,4th, and finally ,5th April.

They said 60 days from the day of submission. you still have up to 9th of May to wait. The Canadian visa date will end when? maybe you should write an email to them or something.

I don’t know if there is a general issue for people who did IW drop off in Abuja. Lagos VO seem to be faster.
I submitted since 9th March, and no progress has been made.
I’m honestly not meant to be this worried but I need to submit my passport for Canada stamping and was given 30 days.
The unfortunate thing is that I can’t recall my passport from them. I’m honestly just so worried.

I submitted on the 17th of march. Me, my wife and 2 kids. I checked this morning and no changes. Just that same application received. case was created on 20th march and was last updated on the same 20th of march. I submitted my document at DHL-Dropoff point in Abuja.

You should get a feedback today with a changed status. Mine, just as those who got approved yesterday took 3 straight weeks to process. Just be positive. Ordinarily, IW application shouldn't encounter any issues. Even if your mission for visiting US is over at the time of submission, your application would still be approved, based on my experience, provided everything is right with your application.

If you've not overstayed in any of your previous visits and you didn't submit a conflicting piece of information in your DS160 application, there shouldn't be any issues as well. This often happens to those who engaged agents to fill out their DS160 on their behalf ( i strongly kick against this). Don't always assume your agents know you and your family more than you do. It took me time to complete my DS160 due to my busy schedules, Any applicant in my shoes could adopt same method. Fill-in a little, save your inputs and log out, until you are finally done. Always DIY. NL is a very rich source of info for your visa applications. This thread has helped me a lot and for many years as a silent reader before I finally joined NL. You guys are amazing. What I've also noticed is, couples' applications do encounter some unexplainable delays. Husbands would have their application approved much earlier than their wives'. Some were asked to do a follow up appointment for kids and they're still waiting . This baffles me.

Ok... Congratulations. Just wait for 10 days to receive your passport. I'm still waiting for my own status to change. The case was opened on 20th march and the last updated time is still that 20th March.

I called them on friday and they told me that a decision has been made and to further wait for 10 working days. Have been waiting and tracking..

Made a paid call to the UKVI, they said decision has been made. But i am yet to receive an email from TLS and when i track it online, the thing is still at the third line which says received by dmc. When can i expect a mail from tls?

I did mine on the 31th of March at abuja tls. I have sent 2 paid mails and i get the same response that my application is awaiting decision.
