Transit visa required if you are with a Nigerian Passport

Got this email from UKVI 7days after my application was transferred to DMC. I did not send them any mail.

It is a generic mail they usually send to some applicants.

U will be charged N1800 equiv of GBP2.6 thereabouts.

I did mine on the 31th of March at abuja tls. I have sent 2 paid mails and i get the same response that my application is awaiting decision.

Now looking like my travel plans will have to be shifted

Pls sir , what do you suggest application since March 11th. Sent multiple mails, I learnt a decision has been made. In fact my last mail, I was stop to contact my application center for my passport. I’m confused and frustrated sef.

that’s what they are saying on gov.uk but when you send multiple emails and they choose to reply you with the automated standard msg you will see work, student, visit visas are now taking upto 6 weeks to be concluded. I also didn't believe until I saw the email.

They claimed on their website (gov.uk) that Standard visit visa will be processed within 6 weeks after biometrics done.

This 6 weeks processing time frame is not always realistic because some applicants will get it within this time frame and some will not get it.

Anyway individual case is different
