Real bite, funny enough danfo drivers will still complain, I don't know why companies refused to resume... The truth is if clubs, churches, schools, airport and fun centres don't open for regular activities, the land will continue to b lyk this.
This will most likely be achieved by end of July. Get ready for a little bit more of winter

I always calculate every trip off hand using distance and time (60/10) from my Google Map, once I start a trip.
And I'm always accurate. 90% of the times.

Yep, July. See attached

Bolt and Uber have both responded to my DM on Twitter. I asked them about resumption and onboarding of new drivers, as the world reopens after pandemic induced lockdown.

And based on their response I've decided to take my mind off Uber/Bolt till July. At least I've done my bit with full registration. Just for them to do thiers (training and activation/onboarding).

ticket union: #100, Amac: #200
How is it that you're forced to pay this Sir?

northbird:
@ pope

Uber is pure slavery. Somtyms i just laff wen pple think dey make money on uber.

I mean a whole 25% grin.

In Abuja, guys dt use corrolla to hustle still make more on the street than on uber.

Las las you cut ticket union: #100, Amac: #200 ( and that one sef, u can still dodge it, if you hv street orientation by avoiding some places.)

You net 8 or 9k. #300 on 9k. That's lyk 3-4% commission.

Note. This is wtout one yeye "oga increase your ac, its hot "

Its glaring wtout surge or 3%. Uber has no bite.

Not a good time to take Ehailing as a side biz investment...cos of Corona. Start by mid July at earliest.

benjijosh:
Hello guys,

I'm looking to stash away some money for a while and I have decided to invest in Uber/Bolt.

The max I have for this purpose is 2m. I have made some research and I found out that I can get a Camry 05/06 for about max 1.85m.

I have no experience in this line, I have only had a friend invest in the same business 2years ago and he told me it's a cool investment.

I have some questions on my mind, is Uber/Bolt still taking drivers?

What are the chances of meeting the weekly return as a new driver, I heard it's somewhere around 25-30k weekly?

I would appreciate your response and advice. Thanks

NB:- I won't be the one driving, I have a driver already and he's some nice guy I have known for years.

Nawaaooo. Am just leaving bolt office in surulere now. I was told that bolt didn't pay its staff for April and May salaries. This is unfortunate.

How true is this and how do you think it will affect their reopening?

Manner of approach is everything. Especially when na you need rating,
Advice on use of facemask the way you would advice The Governor, or a mentor if he/she was in your car.
Politely. You can even joke about it. Abeg no vex etc, police can give me wahala etc, plus its Uber rules etc

Ghost1994:
So my experience today.

Got the request from Ozone Yaba, on Uber.

Me: hello got ur request I'm on my way to pick you up
R. Okay no p I'm waiting
Me. Zooom... arrived "A.c. off" waiting for her to come out. After 2 mins waiting, she's finally out.
R. I'm going to Cele hope no traffic.
Me. Okay I'm starting the trip and I'll check if there's traffic or not.
While checking gmap, I was telling her to put face mask on and fasten her seatbelt.

She fasten her belt put her face mask on her lap.

Me. I'm already driving towards murtala way. Naso I noticed she didn't put her face mask on.

I was like with due respect young lady, kindly help me wear your face mask even if you can't wear it, just hang it on ur jaw.

R. Haha oga what's this nonsense you be novice on this job abi you don't know say while you're in the car, you don't need face mask.

Me. In my mind I was like "ewo tun leleyi" which kind witch be this wey village people and uber send come meet me for Wednesday morning?

R. Oga have never used face mask since beginning of covid19 and nobody try to arrest or say anything to questioning me even I took uber yesterday I didn't wear it. "Oga please stop correcting me and drive"

Me. Just kukuma turn back! On heading to her pick up point she started saying shit I never respond so far I didn't ask you to pay no wahala.

Me. As i reached the coded hotel where I picked her at the back of ozone naso mallam security been asked wetting happen? Aunty just be on phone saying check the number I sent you you've to do something with your drivers.

I don write uber before I dropped her so make she even call buhari which I obviously knows say na saka call she dey make I no send her mama.

So my question is that why some driver thinks only about money and not their safety? How's she doing it without wearing face mask and entering uber/bolt.

Please let's keep necessary precautions na who dey alive go pay HP and Rental.

#Stay safe

Glad to know someone here knows about "Fuelio".
Was looking for a car log book-vehicle expense tracker app, and this seems the best/most advanced so far from my research.
Just downloaded and looking to add Data to get going wink

Schiphol:
Download "Fuelio" from Google Play Store. Record every fuel purchase and your odometer at every fill-up or fuel purchase.
The app will automatically calculate your average fuel consumption from the second fill-up.
You can as well enter other expenses like car wash, maintenance, servicing e.t.c
