you have a point and are partly correct, but bro look at it like this. to get a police order to restrict your account will cost the person 50k. then after police do investigation and discover the truth, they will then proceed to get a court order. amount for court order costs at least 100-200k. anyone willing to pay such amount for investigation really wants justice. look financial crimes are handled by a dft set of police. your scenario 1 will be hard to implicate because you have evidence you sold goods to the customer ( & therfore nor your fault or bizness if its proceeds of crime)evidence such as receipt, book-keepin or transfer from your bank statement. bros that guy never talk true. If you check well immediately that funds entered his account he quickly removed. I have investigated many people like him so I know wassup.
Police man doesn't need a court order to place a lien on an account, a simple police report will do just fine.
In this case, I'm giving the guy the benefits of doubts cos I've seen many people who have been I similar situation like him and I understand the kind of dilemma they went through just to sort themselves out.

you are a criminal & a local scammer. The bank did not arrest you, the police did. someone complained with hard evidence that you defrauded them. the law enforcement agency sent the bank a mail to restrict your account and BOLO you(mind you b4 d bank restricts ur account and holds you for police there's a court order signed by a judge) the moment you stepped into the bank for your fraudulent proceeds your ass was caught and the nearest police station contacted. why not tell us what happened at the police station? why not angry with the police?
Hi, I have question for you oooo,

1) I have a business and someone come buy market from my hand, asin normal business transaction, then later police come lock my account and when I go bank to complain, I got arrested because of say the fund sent to my account have a fraudulent origin, DO YOU THINK ITS RIGHT.

2) Or if I use my atm card go do pos transaction somewhere and I later report myself to police claiming that armed robbers withdrew my money at the pos point under gun point, do you think it's still OKAY?

Let's call a spade a spade, Nigeria police and judiciary is bastardized, someone somewhere can create false allegations and have police arrest you without doing proper investigation, and we both knows that once you enter that police cell, you'll use money to bail yourself even if you are NOT GUILTY, or the guilty person has been found.

Na here we read that someone reported an armed robbery in his neighborhood and police came there later and arrested everyone in the area, even the person who reported the crime bailed himself with ₦150k, what does that tell you about the country we found ourselves in.

It's sad to say this but the only people that justice and law favour in Nigeria are the rich and powerful.
Politics › Re: DSS Arrests Damilare Bello Mohammed, 5 Others Over Sagamu Secret Cult Killings by Ekejoestar(m): 11:12am On Sep 21, 2023
It's sad but cultism and politics are like siamese twins, but here in Nigeria they are entwined umbilicaly.

For cultism to be eradicated in Nigeria, godfatherism in politics must be killed.

Only then can we start true uprooting of the vices of cult and send a message to cultist that nothing will prevent the arm of the law from reaching them.

Furthermore, as we go out to express our displeasure over the death of Mohbad, let us also express our displeasure with cultism and it's consequences.
Travel › Re: UK: 10 Things You Will Miss About Nigeria When You JAPA by Ekejoestar(m): 7:11pm On Sep 20, 2023
I've noticed that many anti-japa thread have been springing up lately all with the aim of trying to dissuade Japarians for japaing.

E no go work.

As long as the country is not rewarding labor of it's citizens people will continue to japa.
I've seen many people who travelled abroad to do company labourer work and after three years, they have built mansion in their hometown but can someone of equal workload in Nigeria achieve such a feat even in 10yrs time?

Abeg, let's leave that thing. Better to japa and suffer and see the fruit of your suffering than to stay here and suffer for nothing.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: I Actually Flopped In My Micro Teaching Interview by Ekejoestar(m): 12:36pm On Aug 21, 2023
dboY1123:
My previous post about a big school that called me for an Interview, Well I actually went there, did my test and when I was asked to come in for Micro Teaching where I was faced with Staff of the school and maybe the principal, I flopped and panicked heavily.

The fear was well written all over my face and I was just saying rubbish despite choosing to teach "Matter" as my topic. Immediately I came in and they asked for my name and few other questions before the micro teaching, my voice was already shaking as if I have never taught before in my life(they noticed and told me to calm down).

Although I am an introvert, I hardly face audience talk more of strangers and the quest to ensure that I performed, those things enveloped/swallowed me completely. I have never taught in such a big school before, I think my qualification was what made them approach me in the first place.

One of the staff kept throwing questions at me, I mean confusing questions just to know my depth of knowledge in the particular topic, and guess what? I flopped totally and became disorganized. But luckily, there was a man among the panel who gave me the option of coming back and prove myself that I am a qualified teacher as stated in my CV or I should take another topic I'm more comfortable with. So, I opted to leave and come back so I can regain my confidence.

Now, I have been given enough time to go and make research and convince them on Monday.
How do I conquer that fear and what are the things they look so I can prepare hard.
Thank you.
You are smart but you haven't found a way to manage introversion, I guess you buy slightly dark eyeglass and use it during the interview date.

If God opens your eyes and you see the legions of demons seating in govt offices in this Nigeria ehn, you'll shed tears for this country.

Our leaders know about all these but selfishness and greed won't allow them do what is right.

Factories are closing up in this nation and unemployment rising all because of this power issue but if you hear the amount of gas that the nnpc is flaring on a daily basis, fear go catch you.

It's a pity, and a joke that the same sets of Nairalanders that defended Buhari during his term are still the same people defending Tinubu now.

Nigerians deserve the kind of leaders they get because how can they leave Buhari who is aware and approved most of the cbn unfriendly policy and start blaming emefiele and this is worst among the Yoruba people.

But wetin concern me, shebi dey said that they want to teach us a lesson. Lol

providencia:
You are right about russia not getting involved. But, ecowas cannot afford to sanction russia.
Ecowas can use sanction as a last resort on Russia since most western nations are already in it and our trade volume with Russia isn't that much.
Politics › Here's Why I Think Russia/wagner Won't Side With Niger If Ecowas Invades. by Ekejoestar(op): 2:21pm On Aug 03, 2023
I don't think that Wagner group will like to confront Ecowas soldiers in battle in Niger due to Russian interest in Nigeria.

Since the start of russian SMO in Ukraine Russia has been shopping for international support every where it can. And allowing Wagner group to get engaged in Niger in the event of ecowas invasion will be counter productive for Russia in the international stage

It will simply push members of ecowas to adopt US and EU sanctions against Russia and Nigeria will likely sway majority of African nations to adopt the sanctions, which will be counter productive for Russia since most of the African nations have been on the sidelines since the start of this Ukraine conflict.

Mind you that Ecowas as presently constituted is made of 15 nations with only 10 of them likely to agree on an invasion, now from where will Russia/Wagner get the power to confront 10 (backed by US and EU arms and weaponery) African nations in battle here in Africa.

What do you think..
Car Talk › Re: Electrical Vs Mechanical Faults: Which Is Worse? by Ekejoestar(m): 3:35pm On Aug 02, 2023
Depends on the type of vehicle.

When it comes to all these modern fancy cars, both electrical and mechanical faults can render the car immobile.
Meanwhile, electrical fault can't stop majority of those vehicles manufactured in the 90's and early 2000's from going to kaduna and back, but mechanical faults can render them immobile.
