PDP is a disease in Abia state and we the sane Abians don't want anything to do with them!

Foreign Affairs / Re: Open Letter To NIGERIA From A SOUTH AFRICAN by ekiloui(f): 12:55pm On Apr 24, 2015
Thandolwethu:

Our president has sent in the Army to stop the riots and attacks.

Unlike Jonathan who cant send in the army to stop boko haram

My problem with you is that you are xenophobic, and u're here giving us excuses as to why your people are behaving like barbarians and retards..going about killing others. Doesn't S.A have a police? If you feel someone is a thief, kingpin, drug lord etc can't your police fish them out and arrest them? What solid proof do you have to back up your claims that the criminals are foreigners.

To the issue of the attacks...So you mean we should wait till a Nigerian is killed before raising an alarm? The man whose auto center was burnt is a Nigerian, you lazy people burnt it down screaming that your jobs have been taken. Is the mechanic shop owned by your government or did south africans contribute to starting the business?
There are pictures of maimed nigerians with an ex-governor..so u want to tell us the pictures were photoshopped or that the nigerians bruised up themselves just to be mischevious.

You aren't even showing remorse for the stupidity going on in your country. Your people are killing fellow blacks because of inferiority and u're here cooking up excuses..I have suffered xenophobic attacks from south africans in the past (I have never been to s.a) on the internet and I know what you pretensive lot are capable of. The same way you came on NL to act holy while hiding your xenophobic intent is the same way your brothers do it.

Where is your army? What has Boko haram got to do with xenophobia..u obviously haven't heard of the word terrorism. Besides S.A won't last up to 30mins under boko haram...too many weak men.

Lastly your MTN, Shoprite etc can move out..no one will miss them..all they do is reap us off...esp MTN..I can also assure you that their staff won't become unemployed cos the companies will definitely be bought over by Nigerians..I'm sure Visafone is praying for MTN to move out.

Don't delude yourself and we really do not need semi-xenophobic attacks here.
Take a back seat!

Only God will judge this pdp goons and the ngwa people. The ngwa's want to sacrifice the entire state for sentimental reasons...

T.A Orji threatened this REC to reverse the cancellation of the results, along side the shameless liar Oliseh Metu.

PDP is trash to have Oliseh Metu as 1 of its top members...I didn't support them to rule Nigeria and I won't support them to rule my state. Crappy, crude party full of thieves.

I pity my fellow Igbos...it's just shallow to hype this dirty party.

I know Ikpeazu Orji will win this election and if he wins at the tribunal too I pity the foolish goons that were paid 5k to bully others...they'll suffer the consequenses..their villages will become worse and Abia will drown in poverty while T.A, Ikpeazu and Ikuku get fat bank accounts

You and Alex Otti are already losers.

It is foolishness for you to dictate Ngwa people, the biggest tribe in Igboland on how they should vote.

They have chosen to vote one of theirs because of your hate and campaign of calumny against one of theirs.

If you have problem with T. A. Orji and his government, then criticize it without bringing Dr Okezie Ikpeazu into as you never see any evil or danger in ex-Gov. Orji Uzor Kalu's support for Alex Otti.

Hypocrites

Tribunal will decide! You and the unenlightened Ngwa people...I refuse to generalise cos we have sane ones...will regret your tribal B.S.

The tribunal will decide...tell Ikpeazu that he can rig heaven and earth but the peoples voice will be heard.

Lastly, tell your master T.A Orji that his cup will soon be full.

Useless PDP tout!

P.S no one is dictating to Ngwa people...they were asked to choose between the Devils in-law and an elite and all they could think of was their tribe. Ako na Uche

Why is Orji Uzor Kalu already shaking heavens for Alex Otti to win?

To answer your question, political alignment.

Because T.A Orji who he handpicked ruined him and ruined the state. I'm an Abian and I believe any Ngwa person playing the Ngwa card against our development is as insane as T.A Orji and his puppet! We say no to PDP and no to Godfatherism.
All PDP knows is rigging...develop the state mba! If t.a had done well we'll understand. Is it by force...can't we even manage to have a free and fair election without pdp making our lives unbearable? I officially hate that party...they can continue to threaten people but the tribunal will decide it!

I don't get all this talk about trying u and testing you.

It's easy...simply take her for a fertility test. It can be done in any hospital, not expensive and all couples are even advised to do it before marriage.

If she can have children proceed with the marriage and if she can't I'll advise you to go for someone who can since you obviously want children. I can't ask you to stay with her if she can't have kids cos it'll lead to frustration and unhappiness. But then, you alone know how strong your feelings are.

Best bet OP is that she might still be fertile, abortion only renders women barren if it's not properly done or when complications occur..that's why u hear of some having 9 abortions etc.

Do the test and follow your heart

Your initial post did not clarify that. However, whether others see it as a flaw or not is not enough to put it on the same scale with someone that has attitude issues. An attitude problem will always be frowned at regardless of marital status.

You've just answered my question. It's the attitude that earns respect and not the marital status..thank you
Family / Re: Must A Woman Be Married To Get Respect? by ekiloui(f): 12:08am On Apr 22, 2015
An0nimus:

I'm a bit curious why you think being single is a problem/flaw and one that can compared on the same level with a married woman without self respect who fights her neighbours. Personally I don't see it as a flaw that can be pitched against an attitude problem.

A woman who has no self respect and respect for others should not expect any in return. Married or unmarried.

The comparisons on this thread have mainly been between accomplised single women and an unrecognized Aunty married with children which isn't balanced.

If you must mention Genevieve then pair her with Omotola

If you must mention an Ill mannered single banker then pair her with a similar woman but married.

I think then we'll begin to see it's not a straight answer as some of us have earlier given.

Try to read and understand. I personally do not think being single is a flaw (you should have deduced that from my other post). The question is directed at those who think being single is a flaw, the people who are saying being single translates to being a prostitute, or being wayward.

Could you explain what you mean by slave mentality?

No achievement worths more than a big happy family.

A lovely husband with beautiful kids in a wonderful home is like a heaven on earth.

We ought to pray to have it.

Yes! We all pray to have it..but as I told you earlier nothing in this world is a do or die affair.

When you believe you must be married to achieve success in life, somehow marriage becomes a bondage to you.

I want a partnership. If I get married it must be for the right reasons (I.E I have found a companion) and not for because I want to please the society. Saying "go and get married" is what I refer to as a slave mentality (slavery is bondage)...when you think that way not only do you become a slave to your husband but to the society at large.

I'll give you an advise...no matter how long it takes you, search for your own man...don't marry for societal respect and because of what people will say...they won't live with you or endure the unhappy times in your marriage. And my dear if you do not find your own man..live your life, afterall men have killed their wives, I personally know of a woman whose husband killed her by pouring acid on her when he found a new bae.

God Almighty instituted marriage. No amount of civilization can stop it.

You better go and get married.

God did not create me with a slave mentality, thank you very much. If I'm destined to be married by God's grace I will..and if not, so be it.

Life is about so much more.

On the contrary you should reread your initial post. Your scenarios were not balanced. You gave the married woman an attitude problem and the single woman none.

If you want I can change the scenarios again giving both parties attitude problems and ask you the same question.

So my question still stands.

I understand your point but you obviously do not understand mine. "Must a woman be married to get respect"- this is the topic right? I gave the married woman an attitude problem because I wanted both women to have a problem. "The married woman with the attitude problem" and The business woman who's single". You can choose to respect the married woman flaws and all because you believe married women deserve respect or disrespect the business woman because she's unmarried. You can also choose to respect the business woman for her great attitude and disrespect the married woman for her bad attitude.

They both have their flaws..so take your pick

Let's put it this way...
who would earn your respect first

1. A married business woman who helps with bills and has a great attitude.

2. A business woman who pays her own bills, and has a great attitude.

The post is about married women receiving respect regardless of their attitude. My question is more appropriate...you can answer it rather than "fine tune it to your taste"

Don't mistake syncomphancy for respect. People praise Genevieve for beauty and achievements but she doesn't have a say in Mbaise where she comes from.

Even her daughter is a bastard. Don't allow anybody to deceive you. Once you get old without a husband, people will praise you for your money and education but call you a prostitute at your back.

It is a different story if no man loves you.

Is marriage by force? Why have you Nigerians made it a do or die affair?

How many of your so called married people are happily married or even really married. This is why we now have high divorce rate and even death rate..wives and husbands killing each other! Simply because they got married to earn societal respect.

Once a girl turns 25 they'll start disturbing her to bring a man home, she'll find the 1st guy she can get without bothering about his attitude and get married to him..after gaining the respect of the society, what next?

She finds herself in a broken home..maybe being maltreated or cheated on by her husband..she wants to leave but thinks of the society. She finally leaves and the same society judges her. (All for respect).

May I never get married for that reason. If I find a good man that suits me fine and if I don't I'd rather be happily single than ruin my life for a society that is only there to jugde.

All I can say to you is "Francistony" is totally right.

Intellegence and wisdom at it's peak.

To the OP...your accomplishments and attitude earn you respect and not your marital status.

Who would earn your respect 1st.

1.) A lousy married woman without "self-respect, who goes about fighting the neighbours.

2.) A business woman who pays her own bills, and has a great attitude.

The whole marriage thing is over-rated and contrary to some believes "only in this part of the world"

Personally, I do not care if you're married or not (that's not my biz) my respect is earned and not dashed

What is playing out in Abia is not a mass movement for change rather a collection of the vocal literate minority who want to impose their wish on the smart illiterate majority. They are taping into the mythical disdain the Igbos hav for the Ngwa clan, using TAorji's non-perfomance as a cover. Unfortunately for them, the Ngwa pple hav just realised they are actually the majority in Abia State.

U're disgusting. Simply cos the "in law" is from Ngwa then we should close our eyes to the obvious dirty politics playing out in Abia? Your foolish turn by turn mentality practised by only non-entities will be your undoing.
