Pdp won in polling unit 14 at nyanya with 368 votes while apc had 222 votes in the presidential election. And it was really free, transparent and fair, I'm really proud of the way elections was handled there
Politics / Re: Card Reader: We’re Vindicated – PDP by ekiloui(f): 10:34am On Mar 29, 2015
There's really no problem with the card reader. The problem is inec, I was really disappointed when one of the card readers in my unit wasn't functioning well cos it wasn't programmed, we had to run around to find an inec offical that would set it up for us. However, I handled the card reader, mine was in good shape, I had a total number of 182 of which 10 finger prints where unable to be read. I also finished in record time, but I can't hide my displeasure because these card readers were meant to be fully charged but when I was given mine it was about 68 percent and I had to charge when I finished accrediting people in my voting point before helping my colleagues who were a bit slow.

Oh and by the way the thing about the card reader not reading finger prints because of the film on top is totally false, I used mine with the film on it and it worked just fine

Keep blabbing. Ladies only cherish a very weak man and detest a disciplined/policy man.

You had better stay out of marriage if you can't control your razor mouth.

Kandiikane just spoke the undiluted truth, weak men do not like to hear ladies speak up, they feel they are demi-gods that should simply be bleeped and fed by their wives...I pity the women that marry ur type, They'll be like zombies awaiting your orders. Discipline my foot...u better not turn the poor thing that'll marry u into a slave. I'm sorry for men like u who do not realize that marriage is a partnership not a sole proprietorship

What did she do? She reaps the fruit of her infidelity! Never judge by the injury, she could be the type that deserves it.

What of if she was the first to attack the man? Judge not

Most of these beatings are usually have women to be blamed. Before it degenerated to such level, she needs to be queried.

A wise woman will never be hurt by her husband but a stubborn one.

Shut up!!!

Post like this is the reason why most women in abusive relationships don't speak up. Because some foolish people in the society will find a way to blame them for it. Most women in abusive relationships are usually scared of their husbands, they can't even be disrespectful for a second cos of the fear that has been instilled in them. Some men cannot control their tempers and descend on their wives sometimes for frivolous reasons. These women will seat at home and take the beating simply because the society will blame them either for speaking up or divorcing the coward of a man.

That's how I read a thread the other day about a lady that killed her boyfriend out of anger, everyone was cursing this lady but failed to read the part where her boyfriend beat her up publicly, infact any good lawyer will plead self-defence, look at this woman now...if she mistakenly breaks bottle on her husbands head while he's about to kill her some of u will still come and condemn her forgetting she was trying to save herself.

When I think about it...I don't think so. My reasons are very vain tho, I don't like the way he speaks, I feel embarassed when we're in public and he tends to dress like a village man sometimes, I'm even looking for a strategy to break up because the guy is all about marriage

I hate thieves. Just like my friends roomie back in da day, this one was a kleptomaniac. She could steal anything ranging from panties ,to phone case,to face powder to someone else's recommended contact lenses.
My dear my roommate who had a rich dad and rich magas would even steal N20, belt..there's nothing this girl won't steal from us..I kept suspecting others until one of my roommates lost N500 and told me it was 2 N200 and 5 N50 denomination. When this girl was searching for her make up, I saw the exact same denomination in her bag and alerted my roommates, it was when we just finished 300L, we were packing up to go home and one of my roomies started searching for her belt, since we already had an idea of who the thief was we decided to search her bag, lucky she wasn't in the room. We opened the bag and lo and behold the belt and a lot of other things including underwears turned up. U need to see the commotion we caused. I remembered all the times I'd starve because this babe will steal all my money and I couldn't accuse her since I had no proof. Funny thing was she didn't even show remorse, infact she asked us to do whatever we like. We decided not to report her sha...Kleptomania is a terrible mental disease

There are no such dangers as addiction to self servicing and nobody loses interest in the opposite gender due to self servicing.

And it's ok. There is nothing wrong with it.

Wrong sir, self servicing CAN become an addiction and I know this because I've seen someone who now prefers to self-service than have sex with the opposite sex

Romance / Re: My Babe Is Pregnant And Am Unemployed; Should I Keep The Baby? by ekiloui(f): 10:24am On Mar 17, 2015
Karlman:
I need some sound advice from sound minds. My girlfriend is three weeks pregnant as I am typing to you. From the depth of my heart and soul I want to keep the pregnancy but I am unemployed and really broke. And when I think of my financial status and what would be required to nurse and deliver a babe, I am tempted to think of doing the unthinkable. But I am so drawn to this pregnancy and the baby in it. The way it came to me and the time it came to me and how I can already feel its presence even when its only a three week old cluster of blood, left me in perpetual amazement. This is not the first time a girlfriend would be pregnant for me, but never at any of the times have I felt as connected with them as I feel with this particular one. In the past cases I have always done the otherwise and moved on without blinking an eye but now I can't even lift a finger against this child. But how will I weather the storm of unemployment+pregnant babe+baby on the way? Already I can't sleep no more, staying up all night and day thinking on how to get all the miles covered.

Thanks for your time!

Op. On no account should you take a life, and if you can't afford to take care of the child please give it up for adoption to people who do not have one of their own...on no account should you deprive a child of it's right to life

I've been duped once on this same forum by one anuinim guy. When I announced that I won 750k through sports betting on a thread here, he sent several pms begging for help, he promised to pay back in 2 weeks. It's over 6months now. He deactivated and damaged every means of contact

I understand, I even see some posts on this forum that smell fishy, but then why should u believe that someone will pay you back 750k in 2 weeks? Some things are too good to be true...if while trusting one has to be very careful.

Don't distrust others because of that but at the same time u have to personally investigate whoever u're giving money to..I mean have the persons house address if possible

It's ok..I was just so furious after reading all that. I mean needing a loan doesn't make one a con artist or a thief. Some of us actually want to better our lives and don't have access to financial aid.

Does it mean we should stay poor?

@ Op, I advice you keep your money instead because I am telling u from experience. DON'T TRY IT

Not all of us are like you. Some of us are actually honest people living in Nigeria, it's unfortunate that everyone of us should suffer insults like this. I haven't as much as stolen a pen from anyone so I do not deserve this insult from you especially since you don't know me! I'm just a struggling graduate trying to get out of this bad economic situation, do not discourage me with your negativity.
If you're a thief or a 419 that's your problem but don't tag every single one of us with you. I wouldn't be receiving such an insult if I could walk into a bank and get a loan.

@egobetatoday @millionboi and @englishmart I also find your posts very offensive and since you have jugded me and found me guilty of 419 then may u also be judged for your situations and get same kind of judgement.

@Iyatrustee it's not my fault you're unaware of what an investment is

Not really, mnet africa is biased towards nigerian movies, there is loads of movies being produced in kenya, tanzania, DRC. THEY MUST change mnet africa to mnet nigeria, that would be fair enough, because those stations only shows not onky nigerian movies, but everything is about nigeria. might as well change it to MNET NIGERIA.
This S.A guy ur bad belle for 9ja is too much! Whether or not kenya and bla bla produce movies fact is 9ja has the best movies in Africa and as of 2013 our movie industry got 10 times better. U can't compare any movie in other african countries to movies produced by royal arts academy, kunle afolayan, lancelot oduwa, neither can u compare any actor to genevieve, rita or O.C.

If you watch Nigerian movies on Afmag, then obviously u're still in the early 2000s, watch our recent productions before judging

Business / Re: Nigerians Against DSTV Over Exploitation, Join The Social Fight: #BoycottDstvNG by ekiloui(f): 5:10pm On Mar 06, 2015
@Op the rates you posted are the previous rates which was increased some years back. The rates are now higher.

Meanwhile, the only solution to our problem will be to have a national cable system that has as much (if not more) content than dstv. As of now we don't have that and most of these other cables are poor quality. Alternatively, for now we can campaign against them just to get them to continue with the old rates.
