dickrider: This doesn't relate to the topic but since u brought it up how can you regain unity with war? If that were possible after the biafran war the talk of Biafra would have died down. Anyway an intellectual would never have written this neither will one consider the solutions profered. I'm sure the new president is an intellectual unlike the clueless one, so if ever (one in a billion chance) he gets to read this crap it'll be discarded as what it is...trash |

Crime / Re: Man Stabs Wife To Death, Kills Self In Ogun Village by ekiloui(f): 10:12am On Jun 01, 2015 |
Rip to the dead. But I'm sick and tired of "he/she one had children from a previous marriage/relationship" on all these threads. Is that what we have become? A bunch of oloshos and divorcees? God help this country. As for those of you receiving daily karate from your husbands keep enduring until u end up like this woman. I'm sure the 1st wife was smart enough to divorce the wife basher if not she'd have been the dead one. And the 2nd wife didn't ask questions as to why there was a divorce or maybe she assumed "as almost all Nigerians do" that it was the womans fault she was getting beat up, all this would have been avoided IMO. Marriage is not by force, it's better to be single and alive than married and killed, so investigate properly before getting married to either your husband (amen) or your murderer/(a wife that'll murder your or make you a murderer) |

I believe women abroad smoke because of the weather, why should nigerians under the hot blazing sun we experience bother smoking? Nicotine is addictive and if u have no business smoking (as in no legit reason) then you should stop. Not only do you get addicted you also smoke away your lungs and start disturbing your entire family to look 4 operation funds. Say no to smoking 3 Likes |

aresa: Wow! I'm actually stunned! I'd rather be ignorant than speak fool.ishly, I asked a question because I knew nothing "if you call it ignorance" about the pics of the estate you posted. A little "yes it was funded by the government" would have answered my question, but you decided to rant. I think you need help. And about the "Island" "Mainland" thing, I never mentioned that those projects where on the mainland, I simply said the mainland is ugly, which is a fact, I stayed on the mainland in lagos last year and had to run back home after 3 days because of uncomfortable it was and that's why I made that statement. I'm just shocked to see you qouting me out of context, when I mentioned you I thought I was asking someone with brains and understanding a simple question, now I know u're just a kid who wants to prove that your state of origin or most likely state of residence is better. You can qoute me and rant as you like because of your lack of comprehension and your zeal to prove whatever it is you're trying to prove but I won't be gracing you with a reply. |
Politics / Re: Fashola Vs Akpabio. Updated:: Projects And Pictures. by ekiloui(f): 6:40pm On May 19, 2015 |
aresa: 1. I saw this thread when it was already in page 11, posting achievements would be futile as no one will see it, and besides what time do I have to research and post? By then it'll be stale. Btw does it really make sense for you as a poster to compare without researching well? You're simply biased. 2. You shouldn't ask people "to post things about him that you overlooked" you opened a thread that was meant to compare, so I expect you carried out a thorough investigation on both parties. 3. So what if they're on Lagos Mainland? Does that make Surulere or Yaba look any better or should I mention Mushin, Isolo etc? Even though I don't live in lag, I lived there once and even visited last year so I know what the mainland looks like! Even Ajah on the island has dirty gutters. 4. Since you opened a thread of this nature I expected you to be intelligent. Estates may or may not be funded by the Government! Most estates are planned and built by estate managers and funding can come from anywhere in form of loans and grants. That the Governor commissioned the estate doesn't neccessarily mean it was funded by the Government, it could have been a financial institution I.e A commercial bank, Mortgage bank, even individuals sponsor estate building. I'll suggest you carry out better research next time before opening a thread such as this, when I started reading the thread I tought it was opened for healthy comparism, but now it's clear as daylight that u simply opened it to prove that Fashola has a better record than Akpabio. Learn to answer questions politely next time, I simply asked about the estate because I was curious but u decided to attack me by being rude |
Politics / Re: Fashola Vs Akpabio. Updated:: Projects And Pictures. by ekiloui(f): 5:48pm On May 19, 2015 |
Aresa, nice thread, although I can see a bit of a bias here, I've seen so many structures from Fashola on this thread and I have to ask, is that really how we'll weigh their achievements, and besides in all fairness, what you posted on Akpabio isn't up to a quarter of the achievements I've seen here on NL. I'm from neither Lagos of Akwa Ibom so I'm speaking without sentiment, I think you should do more research on Akpabio. Meanwhile, the pictures of the estates on this thread...where they built or funded in anyway by the lagos Government? I think Fashola has achieved a lot, nice structures and all, but I still believe Lagos is ugly, especially the mainland. The Governor who will transform the Mainland is the one who'll have the highest achievements. Let's hope Ambode can do it. |

Family / Re: Why Do Some Married Women Enjoy Their Husband Begging For Sex? by ekiloui(f): 9:39pm On May 16, 2015 |
1.) Some women have very low libido 2.) Some feel that's how it should be (I.e the husband should always be the one to ask for it) 3.) Some think it makes them more desirable ( the more they hide it the more the man needs it) The truth though is that as women we have a duty to satisfy our spouse, if he needs it simply give it to him except of course you have a reasonable excuse (e.g your period, fatigue, illness etc). And also you should be able to ask your husband for it too...men also like to feel desired, don't think you're the only one who wants to feel attractive, your husband will feel attractive whenever you ask, so stroke his ego. If you want to hoard... Prepare for your husband to start playing away match. 170 Likes 7 Shares |
