HOW TO ERADICATE BIAFRA

Now that we have a new president at the helms of affairs, it is glad to know that security and our territorial integrity are part of his major plans. Boko haram, Mend , Opc are still easy to contend with because as brutal as they may seem, they can all be dealt with using the carrot and stick approach. The only group threatning our unity is biafra and as a matter of fact their seccesion request is treasonable. President Buhari must rate the threat level of Biafra to the highest. We do not want any form of civil war anymore and anything that threatens our unity must be forbidden. here are ways i suggest the new president should deal with biafran rebels;

He should declare Biafra radio as illegal and ban it henceforth.

He should arrest the owner of biafra radio and make him face treasonable charges for spreading hate campaigns against other tribes in nigeria.

He should establish a special Anti-biafra task force fully armed to the teeth.

He should resensitize the southeast through national orientation agency and make them learn to put the past behind them and embrace national unity.

He should offer financial rewards for informations leading to the arrest of biafran chanters and pro seccesionists.

He must make them realize that we all have a role to play for the development of nigeria.

God bless Nigeria.

United we stand, Divided we fall.

Say no to Biafra cool

This doesn't relate to the topic but since u brought it up how can you regain unity with war? If that were possible after the biafran war the talk of Biafra would have died down. Anyway an intellectual would never have written this neither will one consider the solutions profered.

I'm sure the new president is an intellectual unlike the clueless one, so if ever (one in a billion chance) he gets to read this crap it'll be discarded as what it is...trash

Rip to the dead.

But I'm sick and tired of "he/she one had children from a previous marriage/relationship" on all these threads. Is that what we have become? A bunch of oloshos and divorcees? God help this country.

As for those of you receiving daily karate from your husbands keep enduring until u end up like this woman. I'm sure the 1st wife was smart enough to divorce the wife basher if not she'd have been the dead one. And the 2nd wife didn't ask questions as to why there was a divorce or maybe she assumed "as almost all Nigerians do" that it was the womans fault she was getting beat up, all this would have been avoided IMO.

Marriage is not by force, it's better to be single and alive than married and killed, so investigate properly before getting married to either your husband (amen) or your murderer/(a wife that'll murder your or make you a murderer)

You are right! But your post screams disunity. You as a citizen should try and embrace unity before trying to protect one that doesn't exist for now

Pointless.

I did my research and that's why you people keep screaming like you are doing right now, but can not prove me wrong

Mine was to prove you wrong that everything I posted are on the mainland and not island like you ignorantly claimed.

If one area is better than the next according to you is your opinion even though it was an ignorant opinion since it doesn't alter the fact that Fashola commissioned projects there as the thread title suggest. Very senseless argument on your part.

News

Lagos—Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State yesterday debunked claim that the state borrowed money either internationally or locally to finance the construction of houses under the Lagos Home Ownership Mortgage Scheme, Lagos HOMS.

The governor who disclosed this at the 5th raffle of Lagos HOMS held at Agidingbi, Ikeja, said the housing project the state had executed and executing in over 20 construction sites across the state were not financed with loans.
According to him, the housing projects were executed 100 percent by the state government.

His words “we have not borrowed a dime from any bank. So, there is no bank charge on this scheme. It is executed with the tax payers’ money. The state government is not paying interest to any bank because of this scheme.”

The governor who provided an insight into housing projects that are under construction, noted “We have expanded to Ilubirin, Iponri and Akerele Extension among others.

“Working is ongoing 23 additional construction sites. We have equally engaged 193 contractors. Also, about 2,483 persons of diverse qualification have been employed as a result apart from consultants.”

With your level of ignorance and mental incompetence in this thread, you really need to shut your mouth and sit somewhere.

Wow!
I'm actually stunned! I'd rather be ignorant than speak fool.ishly, I asked a question because I knew nothing "if you call it ignorance" about the pics of the estate you posted. A little "yes it was funded by the government" would have answered my question, but you decided to rant. I think you need help. And about the "Island" "Mainland" thing, I never mentioned that those projects where on the mainland, I simply said the mainland is ugly, which is a fact, I stayed on the mainland in lagos last year and had to run back home after 3 days because of uncomfortable it was and that's why I made that statement. I'm just shocked to see you qouting me out of context, when I mentioned you I thought I was asking someone with brains and understanding a simple question, now I know u're just a kid who wants to prove that your state of origin or most likely state of residence is better.

You can qoute me and rant as you like because of your lack of comprehension and your zeal to prove whatever it is you're trying to prove but I won't be gracing you with a reply.

1. You are just like many folks here, you just talk and talk, but can not back up your talk with facts. I gave you people the opportunity to contribute whatever I left out about Akpabio but you did not, all you keep doing is coming up with what you can not proof.

2. How hard is it to post something or anything Akpabio completed and commissioned that I left out?

3. Nearly 99% Fashola project I posted in this thread are on Lagos Mainland.

4. If the Lagos state government did not fund the houses, then who did? Father Christmas ?

1. I saw this thread when it was already in page 11, posting achievements would be futile as no one will see it, and besides what time do I have to research and post? By then it'll be stale. Btw does it really make sense for you as a poster to compare without researching well? You're simply biased.

2. You shouldn't ask people "to post things about him that you overlooked" you opened a thread that was meant to compare, so I expect you carried out a thorough investigation on both parties.

3. So what if they're on Lagos Mainland? Does that make Surulere or Yaba look any better or should I mention Mushin, Isolo etc? Even though I don't live in lag, I lived there once and even visited last year so I know what the mainland looks like! Even Ajah on the island has dirty gutters.

4. Since you opened a thread of this nature I expected you to be intelligent. Estates may or may not be funded by the Government! Most estates are planned and built by estate managers and funding can come from anywhere in form of loans and grants. That the Governor commissioned the estate doesn't neccessarily mean it was funded by the Government, it could have been a financial institution I.e A commercial bank, Mortgage bank, even individuals sponsor estate building.

I'll suggest you carry out better research next time before opening a thread such as this, when I started reading the thread I tought it was opened for healthy comparism, but now it's clear as daylight that u simply opened it to prove that Fashola has a better record than Akpabio.

Learn to answer questions politely next time, I simply asked about the estate because I was curious but u decided to attack me by being rude
Politics / Re: Fashola Vs Akpabio. Updated:: Projects And Pictures. by ekiloui(f): 5:48pm On May 19, 2015
Aresa, nice thread, although I can see a bit of a bias here, I've seen so many structures from Fashola on this thread and I have to ask, is that really how we'll weigh their achievements, and besides in all fairness, what you posted on Akpabio isn't up to a quarter of the achievements I've seen here on NL. I'm from neither Lagos of Akwa Ibom so I'm speaking without sentiment, I think you should do more research on Akpabio.

Meanwhile, the pictures of the estates on this thread...where they built or funded in anyway by the lagos Government?

I think Fashola has achieved a lot, nice structures and all, but I still believe Lagos is ugly, especially the mainland. The Governor who will transform the Mainland is the one who'll have the highest achievements. Let's hope Ambode can do it.

1.) Some women have very low libido
2.) Some feel that's how it should be (I.e the husband should always be the one to ask for it)
3.) Some think it makes them more desirable ( the more they hide it the more the man needs it)

The truth though is that as women we have a duty to satisfy our spouse, if he needs it simply give it to him except of course you have a reasonable excuse (e.g your period, fatigue, illness etc). And also you should be able to ask your husband for it too...men also like to feel desired, don't think you're the only one who wants to feel attractive, your husband will feel attractive whenever you ask, so stroke his ego.

If you want to hoard... Prepare for your husband to start playing away match.
