Only High Court or Magistrate Court.
At High Court of Lagos State Igbosere Road it costs ₦500 to get the guarantor's form stamped.

I just applied today and paid... I booked an appointment on the 15 of September.. at festac Branch Lagos..

I saw some the requirements which says....

Completed Guarantor's form duly signed by a Commissioner for Oaths
attached with Photocopy of Data page of Guarantor's Nigerian e-Passport ...

How do I go about this.. ..

Can I pay for it...? Can I use anyone as my guarantor... Cause my brothers wife has a valid.. passport.. can I use her own??

And Lastly.. how do I get it signed by a commissioner for oaths.. ..

You can use any Nigerian above 18 years old provided the person's Nigerian passport is (still) valid.
Yes, you can use your brother's wife's…
Get the guarantor's form signed by the Commissioner of Oaths at any of the High Courts or Magistrate courts in Nigeria.

May I add, Alausa Passport Office, Ikeja is DIY friendly, unlike Festac Passport Office. I wish all the best.

Please in respect of the guarantor's form on the portal, should one fill the form on the portal for the guarantor or it should be printed out and fill by the guarantor and signed by the guarantor.

The guarantor's form must be printed out. Your guarantor is better off using blue or black ink to fill the form.

For DIY February, our files haven't been touched at all. They just bundled and left them at the servicom office. Festac is not DIY-friendly after all. If you need your passport in less than 6 months, and you want to use the Festac office, rethink DIY o. Because at this rate who knows when it will be produced

Yes, Festac Passport Office is corrupt and detest DIY applicants. Let the Passport Control Officer (newly posted there) know the challenge you are facing... I am sure after listening to you a solution will be provided.

Festac Passport Office concluded February 2023 applicants' passports production few weeks ago. Your passport is ready. Take time to visit Festac Passport Office. Do not reply on the passport tracker.

I've been dating my girlfriend for over 18 months now and it has been a bumpy ride. One major I issue I have had with her has been her relationship with other men. She spends a lot of time in my place and each time we have issues her one stop solution is to go out and see other guys.

In fact 90% of our issues have come from this same relations with other men. When I complain she makes it look like I am insecure and overly jealous. I have made it known to her that it's wrong to go on dates with other guys when you are in my place especially when we have issues. She would always insist that they are just friends.

We later had a minor disagreement cos I saw her sitting on the floor trying to burst a boil on her laps, she started scolding me that I shouldn't be starting at a woman's private part like that, I pointed out that she had panties on and I was just concerned cos I saw something that looked like a drop of blood on the tiles. This resulted in an argument so I just ignored her.

I later observed her copying out the number given to her on her phone amidst other giggles while chatting with other guys online. I overheard her talking to a guy she just met about him coming to pick her up today so she could follow him to church and then go to work from there. This is someone that have never attended church anytime she costs even though a Catholic church is just a stone throw from my house. I voiced out my displeasure and she said I had no right to interfere in her business since I was giving her attitude.

It rained this morning so she couldn't go to church as planned but I am worried that I am dating a terrible flirt and this is someone I am thinking of getting married to. I had to chat her up at work to complain but she still saw nothing wrong with her relationship with other male folks and told me that I am just being insecure and anytime we have issues she would still leave the house cos she can't stay in a house with someone giving her attitude.

I told her I would no longer continue with the relationship since she sees her attitude as normal and she dosen't give me peace of mind which every man craves for. She started guilt tripping me and talking plenty but I already made up my mind. I can't deal with am unrepentant flirt.

A damaged passport is invalid and cannot be used for international travel.

REQUIREMENTS FOR DAMAGED PASSPORT
(1) Application letter requesting for replacement of damaged passport should be addressed to: C.G.I Abuja.
(2) Come with the damaged passport booklet for sighting.
(3) Photocopy of data page.
(4) Sworn affidavit (from a Magistrate or High Court) of damaged passport deposed to by applicant.
(5) Acknowledgement slip and evidence of payment.

My opinions're based on my interactions with applicants who collected their passports at the Alausa Passport Office in recent weeks, which clearly're different from yours. At Alausa Passport Office after your passport is handed over to you, an officer will tell you to go to room 10 to activate and register it. According to you, passports are activated at Festac Passport Office without fingerprints... I am a bit amazed! I will contact the Nigeria Immigration Service to verify your claim about Festac Passport Office activating applicants' e-passports without fingerprints...
An activated e-passports with fingerprints carries a biometric identifier; combines RFID technology (like that used on credit cards or debit cards) to avoid manipulation of the stored information; digitally collects personal information and biometrics of its holder (fingerprints, digital signature, etc.).

Do not rely on the tracker to ✓the last stage before you go for collection. It usually ✓after a passport is collected by the applicant, activated (fingerprints) and registered.

As long as your guarantor has a valid Nigerian passport, where he or she resides in Nigeria does not matter. Yes, you can get the guarantor's form stamped in Enugu (High Court or Magistrate Court). Yes, you can go after your scheduled appointment.

Yea I know of the activation during collection, but I think theres another activation or something right after PNA before you can come for collection.... because if you go there and check the status and they say it's in the PNA stage, the next thing they tell you is to come back in a week or 2.
I don't know, i think PNA means produced but not activated... There's a chance there are 2 types or parts of activation, the one they will do by themselves and the one that requires the applicants presence like finger prints and so on

PNA could also mean produced but not approved for collection.

Just be patient a little and hopeful, like 3 - 4 weeks from now it should have either entered PNA or fully produced/activated and ready for pickup.

It will have been produced in 3 or 4 weeks time, but not activated. Activation is done on the day of collection. Passport applicants' fingerprints will be collected to activate the passports.

Hello Nairalanders, I was at the Festac immigration office to collect my kids passport on Tuesday but the date(21st August) and. “AA” was written on their confirmation slip with a red pen and I was told it wasn’t ready yet. Please what is the meaning or implication of “AA”?

It is DIY and they captured on April 15th.

I discovered today that one doesn’t have to wait until six months before the expiration date before starting the renewal process.

My passport will expire in October 2024. I went to the passport office (Ikeja) today to make an inquiry. I was told that I could start immediately.

As a matter of fact, I made payment, and I was scheduled for the first week in September for biometrics and photo capturing.

Did you apply online by yourself and book an appointment? The Nigeria Immigration Service still insists a Nigerian passport must have six months validity before renewal.

So yesterday, I was in one of my family house at obalende to say hello, immediately I entered I just sighted a beautiful bag with food stuff..

I was told it was shared freely to all the resident of of the LCDA...

Honestly, all the elected politician in ikoyi obalende are special breeds, their love for development and extending their hands to people who needs is very high...

Lagos lead, others follow, I know they will still share school stuff for students resuming soon...

It's their usual practice to share branded school bags, mathematical sets, shoes 👞 and some other school stuff, to help the student well when resuming and helping the parent to save from there...
