GAR3TH: There is drainage in the streets, it is underneath the side walks on some of the new streets in benin city. There is even a storm water masterplan that is under construction in the city. Rural roads on the other hand don't really need "drainage".They can allow runoff onto the natural bush

Yeah i think the sports spamming stuff was annoying for her.

I'll probably not do it again. I just get really emotionally invested in sports sometimes, and like sharing those emotions with my friends.

I highly doubt that I personally'd have been better off if I'd grown up in Nigeria. There are some pretty nice opportunities available abroad which simply are not available in Nigeria. Or Africa period, for that matter.

So obviously I'm making a big deal out of nothing. But there is chick who defriended me.

Probably for the following reasons:
a) We don't really know each other that well, was just some mutual attraction from an event we were at when she lived here
b) she lives on the other side of the country
c) I sometimes spam facebook with annoying sports stuff when I'm watching basketball

However, upon noticing this I did feel a bit of a twinge. Plus her status updates were pretty entertaining and funny grin

Anyway I'm over it. But was just slightly annoying.

I agree that the US spends too much money on its military. Yet despite this handicap, is still wealthier (per capita) than most countries in Europe. And is growing faster than most of them.

And is the leader in technological innovation today in the world.

The 2006 population census puts the population of the South-West at 27.58 million with that of the South-south as 21.01 million.

Therefore @Beaf's approximation of 20 million for the south-south is not incorrect.

21.01 million 2006. 6 years later at likely 2.5% population growth...is ~24 million now. That seems a very poor approximation to me.

Anyway, my larger initial point of the SW's indigenous population not being overwhelmingly more than that of the SS seems correct, using your #s. Yes?
