Arabs and Persians are very different people.

I think part of the problem here is that some of you think they are the same.

There is no connection between Persians and a guy like Osama Bin Laden.

Heck, OBL hated Shiites and Iran. He viewed Shiite Islam as a sick perversion of Islam. Probably had a lower opinion of them than say Christians or Jews. . .

Look, the only way to protect yourself on this planet from possibly getting your @ss kicked by the US is nuclear weapons. North Korea has nuclear weapons now, and as poor and backwards as the country is, the US wouldn't dare fvck with them.

BTW, I don't want to say Persians are not very religious, but I've seen no evidence of excessive piety or religious insanity amongst them, at least the ones I've met. Even the ones I've met straight from Iran.

I have no problems with Israel.

My issue is the attempts to paint Iran as evil or as animals. That is simply not accurate.

Keep in mind that I am Yoruba and an African myself. So if I say something that seems disparaging to black folk, obviously the intent is not to disrespect myself, my family, relatives, ethnic group, etc.

To conclude my discussion in this thread, the overall point I'm making is that you cannot try to make the Israelis look like perfect, guiltless folk and try to make Iranians look like dogs, animals or bullies.

Most of those countries are absolute messes.

Persians in my opinion are better at techology and science than most groups in the world, aside from say Europeans (and European founded countries like America/Canada/Australia) and Jews.

They are certainly better than any group in Africa at it.

Persians are actually pretty good at science. Very high literacy rates, a culture that values the arts and sciences, and one of the best universities in the world (Sharif University of Technology.)

Of course, given the trade bans with most of the rest of the world, their prowess and skills are not fully utilized.

However, diaspora Iranians (as you probably already know if you follow the tech sector) are very strong in technology. I can give some examples and name some names, if you like.

NCNC and AG were both popular in the Midwest, I think that much is clear, but NCNC was more popular than AG from what I've read. I don't think this necessarily indicates anything about "ethnic alliances", though.

I don't think we are culturally mixed like that. There is certainly some overlap and commonality, but nothing massive or overwhelming.

With the Igbo parts of Bendel now in Delta State, there is pretty much nil chance of Edos ever forming any political alliance with Igbos (well, at least given what we know now. Certainly things could change in the future. . . )

Israel's tech sector is pretty good, but I don't think your statement is accurate.

Intel has a few chip labs in Israel.

But my current computer for example uses AMD chips, so likely has absolutely no technology in it connected to Israel.

Btw, Jews definitely have the most Nobel prize winners per capita.

But is this true for Israel? It might be, but I'm not sure.

Also, name any medicine or technology aside the Intel chip labs in Israel that the world widely consumes?
