A great question. |

Q: Are The Yoruba The Number One? A: Yes. |
I'm up about 30% or so for the year. Made a killing off of Apple stock, lost a lot from HP stock. You? |
How much was the ransom? |
Doing business with nairalanders or nigerians more generally is an invitation to be robbed. Certainly it doesn't make sense to give anyone cash before you get the item. |
Giving cash when dealing with anything involving Nigerians is a risky business. |
Jakumo: Ha ha ha now THAT's what I'm talking about. Ain't NO better way to go, y'all, than to be phucked into a stupor by THREE twenty-something year-old hornny women, only to be revived in hospital by the same suspects, and then phucked to death. Thank you Jeeesus ! Ha ha ha+1 |
lol...she is probably really nice. being muscular doesn't mean you are an unfriendly or anger-prone person (unless you take roids..) |
There is no need for long story. Give him his money back. |
I guess before you try to rob someone's house, you should make sure that they aren't going to kick your azz. ------------------------------------------------------------ Los Angeles (CNN) -- A man charged with breaking into LL Cool J's home Wednesday morning faces a long prison sentence if convicted because of his previous convictions, the prosecutor's spokeswoman said Thursday. Jonathan Kirby, 56, suffered a broken nose, jaw and ribs when he encountered the muscular rapper-actor inside his Sherman Oaks, California, home, according to Los Angeles County District Attorney spokeswoman Sandi Gibbons. Get more celebrity news on CNN's Marquee Blog Prosecutors charged Kirby with first degree burglary as a "third striker," which means he could face 38 years to life in prison if convicted, Gibbons said. They are asking that bail for Kirby be set at $1.1 million. Kirby was previously convicted of voluntary manslaughter in Dallas, Texas, in 1988. He also has auto theft, first degree burglary and a petty theft conviction in Los Angeles on his record, Gibbons said. Arraignment for the suspect is not yet set, because he is still hospitalized for treatment of injuries inflicted by LL Cool J when he "physically detained" him, she said. The family was sleeping when their home security alarm sounded at 1 a.m., sending LL Cool J into action, according to a Los Angeles Police statement. After catching the man, he held him until police arrived, police said. LL Cool J, whose real name is James Todd Smith, plays Special Agent and former Navy SEAL Sam Hanna on "NCIS: Los Angeles," a CBS crime series. http://www.cnn.com/2012/08/23/showbiz/ll-cool-j-burgar/index.html?hpt=hp_t3 |
Stonehenge? I must be missing something. |
I'm 6'1. I wouldn't have a problem with up to say my height. But anything taller might be kind of weird. Then again, if some smoking hot 6'3 girl approached me, I would be hard-pressed to say no ![]() |
Heh I can do this all day. Tweedle dumb, how far any progress yet |
Tweedle dumb, how far any progress yet |
Indeed, he is not gay. Just has a strong antipathy for people of your particular religion. In that, he has a lot in common with many.. |
lol @tweedle dumb (fstranger) calling anyone else stvpid. A guy who is too dumb to read and comprehend a healthcare thread, despite presumably aspiring to have a career in the industry |
Correct. You are a person. |
...will you next explain that the sky is blue, or that water is wet? Or did you not read the post you were responding to? I asked why they complained, then answered my question after clicking the link. So of what relevance is your response? |
I love Pastor Ayo. |
No offense, but if you want to one day be viewed as credible in the medical industry, you should try to avoid saying id1otic things like what you just said. It isn't a good look for someone who wants to have a medical career to not understand universal healthcare. |
fstranger: person!Of what relevance is universal health care in the case of a health tourist? "Universal" in this case refers to presumably some large subset of UK citizens. Not all of humanity.. |
Interesting. Was really slow for me when I was using it. |
Right, so one can think of the possible effects. But then you need to assess, "how likely is this worst case outcome?" Or more importantly we should ask, "what is the likeliest outcome?" Anyway, to measure the effect, one would have to design some sort of study I suppose. But it is quite a leap to say that the worst imaginable outcome is also the most likely one. |
iamtheprincipal: @ekt_bear, I don't waste my time on nincompoops like you. It's your father's grave, you would urinate on. Scallywag!Nope. It is Ojukwu's grave I will urinate on. I can piss on your father's grave too if you like...just tell me where he is buried. And if you don't like this...go hug transformer. |
So your argument is that: 1) Employees are paid in cash. In other words, employer withdraws huge cash from the bank, hands it out to employees 2) If they are now paid in units of N5k by the employer, then they won't deposit this money in their bank account 3) Banks will suffer liquidity as a result Is this your argument? If so, are you sure that (1) is true? Are teachers, civil servants, etc paid in cash? |
violent: This wouldn't only apply to Nigerian big men alone but even more to mid and low earning folks. It means an employer can afford to pay off salary in a couple of notes..I guess this a possibility. We'll find out over the next few years as it unfolds. Also, it may be convenient for some dodgy Nigerian "big men" to hold their billions in small briefcases as it wouldn't normally attract the unwanted attention of monitoring agencies.Aren't there plenty of ways for my to do this anyways? Euros, dollars, pounds, etc. USD 50 is like N7500. Dodgy people will always find a way to do what they want to do, whether this is introduced or not. |
Regarding (a), how quickly do you deplete the cash in your own wallet? For me personally, 2 weeks max, and then I visit the ATM again. Surely for you or most people, it will be 1 month max. Regarding (b), it cannot be the case that the amount of cash Nigerians have in their wallets right now is up to 1% of the total. Most of it is going to be in banks, stored at home, etc. |
Did she pay? If so, then they have no reason to complain. EDIT: nm, it cost the UK 10k pounds.. |
