This is true but that wasn't the issue at that point in time. Young should never have played CF while Martial is still on the pitch. He should have been on the left.

am beginning to see martial more as a left forward that a striker sef he may not transition so easily to that center forward role.

The only "history" I see there is Daley Blind (perhaps he truly is) in 5 or 6 different picture frames unable to run and catch up with Dele who was clearly there for him to see. Even before Eriksen got to the ball, he had enough time to make up the ground!
