Let's attribute every achievement to his team mates. You will also attribute his 93goals for Portugal to the world class team mates he have. The constant with Ronaldo is that he guarantees goals, lots of them any where and any competition even with 10 sticks Ronaldo will deliver goals.
No one is denying the fact that he is a good goal scorer but he cannot maintain that in the EPL.

How many goals did the United of 2007-2009 score compared to the city of the last 2 seasons? With the numerous Chances city creates per game Ronaldo will be averaging 60goals per season.

How many champions league goals did Ronaldo score in first 2 seasons at Madrid and how many did he score in his latar years?
United win UCL during the time. City won nil.

In the first two seasons, Madrid were still assembly their team from the old team Mourinho inherited. Players lile Diarra and Raul were still there. Not sure Alonxo had even joined.

Ronaldo in his last 2 seasons in La liga scored 26 and 25 league goals.

That must mean they increased the toughness of the league and shows Ronaldo cannot cope in Spain again but can cope in CL

Hensbrain no be so?

Salah in 2 seasons in this same EPL scored 54 goals despite giving penalty duties to Milner sometimes. So Ronaldo wont do better than Salah?
That is two seasons na. While at his peak and almost single handedly won the UCL for Liverpool. Ramos had to target him for elimination

Abeg, how many goals Messi score as at the time Ronaldo was in EPL?
What was his average per season?

You are forgetting that then, person go count one million leg over even for 1-1 match. But if you try am now the fit beat you.
Messi was still developing at the time playing shadow to Henry and Eto. Ronaldo reached high before Messi.

2011-2012 he scored 46 in la liga, 2012-13 he scored 34 and 31 in 13/14. La liga became tougher those two years, they quickly reduced the toughness so he could score more goals after those two years
Your figures are wrong.

It is easy to do it in la liga bla bla. Who else is doing it aside Messi and Ronaldo? Abi its only easy for those two in la liga and hard for others?
Suarez once scored 49 goals a season in all club competition while at Ajax.

The highest he scored at Liverpool was 31.

In Barca is scored 59 while at his peak

Very wrong my friend. During the latter part of his time with United, Ronaldo started in a centre-forward position more often under Ferguson for a short time. Even Mourinho used him as a winger untill Ancelotti brought the idea of using him as a striker which Ronaldo even said he was not comfortable with at first but then got used to it. Ronaldo scored 102 times during Ancelotti two years at Madrid including 61goals in one season.
Ronaaldo scored 18 EPL goals in his last season at United after scoring 31 the previous season. Consistency in the EPL is hard. Mau be because of the kind if defenders they prefer to buy. Huge black guys who can jump and run.

And Madrid broke bank to sign players which United would not have done.

You are just going back and front. How much did United spend before they went to 3 champions league final in 4 yrs.? it's not only by spending money that you can build a strong squad capable of delivering trophies. You are confusing this United with the one Ronaldo was in. If Ronaldo had stayed United will attract more players and build a team to satisfy Ronaldo if they want to keep him at the club. It's that easy
United that were dilly dally on Ronaldinho until Barca swept him in the last minute. This is a player the world thought for 6 months he was already a United player. We were just watching Aguero in A.Madrid. We could not pay for Moura. We went for Kagawa instead of Hazard. Ferguson was not willing to break the bank. He always had it at the bank of his mind that he got Scholes and Giggs for nothing and so it shoupd be 80% of the time. City and Chelsea were buying whole squad.

United sold Ronaldo and bought only Valencia and Chicharito. In fact one Diouf was initially schedule to join out attacking line.

If you check Ronaldo champions league goals and records you won't be making noise about the difficulty of Epl.
The UCL goals are as a result of the team mates he had in Madrid. He is a great player but a tree cannot make a forest.

You have jumped from your initial argument of doing it in a weaker league because I brought his record in the champions league to the quality of players he was playing with. How many other players in that Madrid team was averaging those same amount of goals playing with those same players? Put Ronaldo in the city team of the last 2 seasons and he will be banging in 60 to 70goals regularly. It's Ronaldo you are talking about my guy.
The evidence is showing in his champions league record. Why is he not able to replicate his Champions league goals in Juventus?

Even in that City team, Ronaldo will not score more than 30+ in the EPL. That City team was not as good as United of 2007-2009.

Ronaldo scores more UCL goals in knock-out stages. He scored 65 goals in knock-out stages vs 61 in group stages, so don't talk about this season yet. Wait till he is out or he wins the UCL.
How many did he score last season? And how many knockout goals did he score at United?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Manchester United Fan Thread:''20 Times EPL Champion by elampiro(m): 11:51pm On Feb 06, 2020
The difference is the team mates Ronaldo has played with (so is Messi). Ronaldo has only 8 Champions league goals in 1 1/2 seasons in Juventus. He scored 6 last season and 2 this season.

Whereas in his last three seasons in Madrid he scored 16, 12, 15. When he had Di Maria there who was an Assist specialist, he scored 17.

How about his 106 champions league goals for Madrid, is that also an easy competition? Man you have nothing to suggest Ronaldo will not be dropping those same 50goals if he was in England. The greatest goal scorer of his time will go to any league and dominate.
In Madrid he was supported by a world class star studded team. Bale at his peak, Di Maria at his peak, Benzema at his peak. Alonxo, Modric, Isco, Marcelo, Casimero and at their peak.

1 year does not signify a trend. The EPL that allowed RVP, Salah, Harry Kane to score 30 goals in one season could not have prevented C. Ronaldo from AVERAGING 30 goals in his peak years.
Someone that in his peak years in Madrid scored 105 champions league goals in 101 matches, averaging over 1 goal a game. IN CHAMPIONS LEAGUE.......with a large percentage of his goals coming in knockout games against tough opposition.
How many of the players you mentioned have scored 30 goals in three straight straight?

In Madrid, he had team mates who made.life easy. The fact that he could not score 20 goals in 2008/2009 after scoring 31 shows that he would not have maintained it.

And this proves what exactly? So you have watched Ronaldo for the past 5 to 6 seasons and still thinks he won't be dropping crazy goal scoring stats even in the premier league. You are disrespecting Ronaldo stop it.
He was playing in an easy league with great team mates. So it was easy to score 50 goals a season and 5 hatricks in one season.

Both sides dey play themselves wayo for the argument. I know none of them believes he is going to convince the other side, so i wonder why the lengthy epistles.
I thought the argument was coming to a conclusion when it got to ratio 3:1. But the other side refused to adopt the line. Although it looked like Liverpool small spending yielding huge result gave them an escape route in the argument.

Before, this Martial could slice open defences with his mazy runs and superb close control. Now, he can barely control and trap passes... The regression is alarming
He can still do it if the opposing defence playing high or if he has another forward dragging defenders away.

When Martial was away, guys here were saying Rashford was useless missing one vs one. And they said Martial was the 'messiah'.

What I have observed is that we attack better with both of them on the field. But Rashford is by far the better player. He can do things on his own.

Elampiro, even if I want to agree with you, why did OGS let Lukaku leave, only to sign Ighalo?

Anyway, I still believe that the team is clueless because of OGS.
Every coach has to let someone go and later turns out to look like a mistake. Lukaku was not exactly what we needed but was okay for the period.

Even if we bought Messi , we would still be complaining about our blunt attack. Attack in this age is more than quality players. A team needs to be drilled in a distinguished attacking style; practiced and mastered on the training ground, that must be the core attribute of the team, irrespective of the personalities to carry it out.

Ole is bereft and devoid of these contemporary attacking styles. This is validated by our failure to create clear cut chances in our matches. Most of our goals are scored by individual brilliance of our forwards . It’s not really ole’s fault, you simply can’t give what you don’t have. It’s my humble submission that ole should be relieved of his duties and be appointed as the director of football. A club as huge as ours deserves a tactically sound manager. And no, counter-attacking is not a style!. Thank you.
If your cutlass no sharp e no fit cut even plantain tree down not to talk of mango tree. Nani in his prime in that attack yesterday would probably open up one big space with a sharp turn. We have no one to bring that magic moment

@obaino, why are you quoting Gary? Of course, he is another pundit that failed heavily as a manager. Na only to talk the guy sabi.

Very few of our so-called legends say the truth, when Mou was here, they wanted to finish him, but because it is one of their own, they are soft on him.

Fuvk them all!
But he is right in the front three. It is same thing I have been saying. Mane, Salah and Ferminho/Origi playing in the front three for us yesterday, something would have happened in that first half.
