How many tines last season and even in august this season that Pogba will make a long pass and Rashford first touch will take it sideways? So many through balls by James.

Passing also depends on who is capable of making use of it in a difficult situation

All team midfielders and full back play a role in the attacking set up on a team. The full back creativity does not depend on the attackers ability to finish it off. They can be creating the chances and the attackers keep fluffing their lines. It doesn’t change the fact that those full backs are creative.

Maybe you need to sit down and watch Liverpool again and see how influential their full backs are in their attacking set up.

Even centre defenders and the goalkeeper play a role in attacking build up. Van Der Sar used to start a counter. Liverpool keeper set up Salah's goal. Very soon now you will start saying DDG should be blamed for not creating for the forwards.

Why should I watch Liverpool? We used to have Evra and Rafael who were attacking. William attack, Luke Shaw attack, Young attack, Bussaka attack.

I think you are confused. You believe more in your self judgement than what scientific proof shows you. Tell me which of our fullbacks take set piece?

First, in football full backs do not have a primary duty to create. In some teams, yes it works but some they are just full backs. Generally, the forward players are meant to be the primary creators. This was evident in the comprehensive list of top creators I posted here few days back which someone else analysed and it showed that a forward player is the top creator this season and far more forward players were in the list. The full back don not owe the forwards creativity. If they create, it is a bonus.Martial and Mata even lost Bissaka two chances the last match and Martial still lost golden chance created by Matic.

You might be right here. Our set pieces are weak. But last season we scored 12 from set pieces as against 4 so far this season. Our set piece takers-Mata and Young have all been around, but what has changed is the people attacking the set pieces.

Liverpool has 12 goals from set pieces while we have 4. All these theory you are writing don't hold ground when it is already established that most of Arnold's creativity is from set piece.

Maybe you need to sit down well and watch our many crosses Liverpool out into the box per game before you start talking. Mane, Salah or Firmino are not the one responsible for Arnold n Robertson creativity. Put any front three ahead of them and they will still put in those beautiful crosses, whatever those attackers does with the crosses is another discussion entirely.

This is not to talk of some other converted with leg.

Anold has 6 Assists from set plays and 2 from crossing. If he played in United, who would head in those balls where there is no Smalling, Lukaku or Fellaini?

If he were in United he would not be said to be creative because no Firminho, Origi, Dijk and co to nod into the net

Where did anyone say attack alone should create? Do you have a comprehension problem?

Why did Martial waste a perfect through ball from Matic the last match? Is that not an attack problem? If it were Lukaku, Matic would have recorded an Assist there. It still goes back to the problem of poor strikers. Anold assist for Liverpool against us, no United player would have been able to head in like Dijk, so chance wasted.

Lastly, our midfield still have more chances created than our attack.

Not exactly. Even under SAF last two seasons, the dou held their own in some FA cup fixtures and other fixtures where Vidic and Ferdinand could have collapsed under pressure. We had a better run with them when Bailly injured. Before then we thought Bailly was so good. It is unfortunate Jones injury did not allow the partnership to develop

DDG is poor in some aspect of goalkeeping which is commanding the box and dealing with crosses. May be Smalling and Jones knew that all along. It is unfortunate now that DDG has regressed in some other areas he was perfect.

The season we have finished best or periods we had a run of good results/clean sheets were when Smalling and Jones were fit together for a long time. One certain period it was Jones and Rojo. But after spending on defenders, we concede cheap goals. DDG is also not helping matters.

Maguire can control ball very well, but overall is he an upgrade on Samlling?

What i said was if it was Carrick that managed to catch up to Salah the way James did, then there was no way he would just escort Salah to go and score.

Rashford is the fastest you say, did you determine this only when he ran towards goal or when he played on the wings?

1. For the video he posted, I commend Carrick for the hardwork. But Carrick would never have covered the space James covered. Carrick was never known to be fast. But if he was the one able to close down Salah, he would have stopped him.

2. James is the second fastest player this season the last time I saw the stats. That was why he was able to cover the space quickly.

3. James and Matic were leveled when that ball was sent to Salah, but Matic could not speed ahead. It looks like James even ran from behind Matic and ran ahead to catch up. This is my point.

When a player is thru on goal he runs without any hesitation. He sprints at his best until.he approaches the keeper and slows down for a decision.

Again, Salah recorded the 11th highest speed last season. Fonsu.Mensa was the fastest last season. Currently, Rashford is the fastest with far better time than what Mensa recorded last season.
