It's that time of the year again, due to the unanimous vote of confidence in my handling of the league last season, I have accepted the responsibility of managing the Nairaland Premier League and the Nairaland FA Cup this season.

It promises to be even more competitive and entertaining. The rules for qualification remain basically the same from last season.

There will be two leagues, a Classic League and a Head-to-Head Cup.

You don't need to create a new team, just go to the FPL site and enter your email and password. Your team details will remain the same, but you'll be asked to update some things and pick a new set of players.

1. Entry into the leagues will be strictly by invitation.
2. The codes will be sent to a few well-known members by Nairaland PM.
3. Requests for entry (if not recieved in your Inbox) should be posted on this thread.
4. Anybody is allowed to send in a request for the code.
5. The top 20 from last season get automatic qualification.

Please register early in order to avoid disappointment, only limited spaces available.

Could you please post the names of your teams here, I need to keep tab on the registered members.

I never really respected the VMAs, it's always been about sharing the awards equally among big celebrities and not about creativity.

I think the knock out stage was necessary, we kept struggling all season to remain in the top eight.

What do y'all think? One Knockout stage (1st V 2nd) or Three Knockout Stages??

I redefined the league . . . we had fewer duds, and the competition was at an all time high.
I made sure that the requirements for investing in Fantasy Premier League included rigorous personality and credibility tests.
Investment from shady foreign Sheiks from Egypt was minimized.

Ibime has only raised this issue because I'm investigating the claims of financial and moral malpractice levelled against him. There is a super-injunction he sought from delving further into this issue.

That said, I stand as the chairman of the NFPL Board and will not be detracted by this spineless gossip.
