Your father!!! |
@Smootheb You already made your decision on this by not trusting him. . . your relationship is going nowhere I'm afraid. And I'm not implying that he's cheating, but you already signed and sealed your judgement on him. Come on . . . 'He's only been here a few years and claims that he has his green card.' . . . like seriously?? You don't even trust him on the most basic thing, and no you don't hate stereotypes, if you did you won't be on a Nigerian website on sum CIA ish. |
mukina2:Don't worry, the truth will come out one day, whoever bribed who will be ousted. We cannot have corrupt god ![]() |
Ibime:I revolutionised it, the H-2-H is the biggest thing that's ever happened to this league and guess who brought it?? Yep, yours truly You are the old generation, I alongside the very distinguished members of the new school like Debosky, Ritchboy and Borat changed this league . . . we refuse to go back to that era. We appreciate the old generation, but you've taken it as far as you can, this is some Obama shit we got going on right now. There are rumours flying about that you received a bribe from Bin Mukina Haman to let Terrific join the league halfway into the league. Investigation is still in progress. |
Ibime:Dude, under your regime . . . 1. You didn't come up with the innovation of the Head to Head system, the main attraction of most people here. 2. Your laissez-faire approach to league management led to the unimaginable result of having 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions being taken by unkonwns from Egypt who didn't even have a Nairaland username. 3. In your attempt to cover for your lack of decision-making, you banned respected members like Mukina, someone who had contribted a lot to the development of the NFL. 4. Your failure also extended to poor marketing, highly skilled managers like Debosky, Borat, Lalaboi and Chamotex got to hear of the league really late due to your unimaginable incompetence. We had people joining the league halfway into the season, that's despicable. |
@Pharoh I think your points are very valid. I have to say that I was shocked by the spike in the level of interest in the H-2-H league this season. Before the McDonalds World Cup Fantasy League, no one really cared about it, I think me introducing it with the knock-out stages increased the interest. Hands up . . . I failed on that. However, I still need to find a solution to this . . . Option 1 is not feasible, we need to find a solution to this, and keeping everyone in one league for a whole year isn't it. My reasons are, in a league of 22 If say I play say a weak ass team like Wendoworld , I don't want Debosky coming to claim that I got free points by beating the duds, as he also gets to play the weakling. Also, in a 50-League team, you could come here and boast, and still avoid playing the big teams like Illuminati Masons and Mubz. That's not fun. Finally, fewer teams, fewer duds. Option 2 This seems a better suggestion, but the thing is, I am trying to make sure participation is almost at par with skill in the criteria for selecting the leagues. As good as Mubz was two seasons ago, he had to make sure he participated more on the thread to continue playing. So while the tables are relevant, they're not as important as the banter on the discussion boards, I think we all agree that things like the battles on here, the fictitious press releases and all that really upped the general enjoyment for everyone. So my proposition, we follow Option 2, two leagues but with emphasis on participation. This means we get most of the trusted regulars in League A, but the newer people on League B. This gives everyone the chance to enjoy themselves. We will discuss all three leagues on this thread, so they're just two leagues of equal status . . . just that known members get grouped together. I also agree that we should nominate two or four people to join me in the management, makes it more democratic. You rarely do anything all season, all you do is a few decisions through summer. |
Ipswich Town are now expected to complete the signings of Arsenal’s Jay Emmanuel-Thomas and Fulham’s David Stockdale on Tuesday. We understand the deal to make striker or midfielder Emmanuel-Thomas a permanent addition is done but that there has been a minor hold-up regarding the paperwork relating to the season-long loan of keeper Stockdale.http://www.twtd.co.uk/news.php?storyid=18820 |
VitiMini:It just means the people that made the 2010/2011 NL H-2-H Top 10 will be seeded. But I reckon two leagues of 24 will accommodate everyone. |
lalaboi:I'll take that into consideration, let's just say, last season's Top 10 is in league A. |
There will be two H-2-H leagues. The demand is way too high and I'm trying to restrict it to 24 max per league. They will both have the knockout stages, I reckon the season long competition for the Top 8 spot is highly beneficial to everyone's enjoyment. Two H-2-H leagues . . . about 24 teams on each. |
rapjunkie:Thanks to him . . . I always had that thread in my head anytime I think of femcees. And back then we had only like four. |
I don't get this talk about Theo's intelligence, you guys just read this shit in the papers and you keep saying it. It's just another cliche y'all get from the media. . . What has he done wrong? He can't dribble on high speed, how many players can even dribble?? That makes him unintelligent?? He's not got the best crosses? He's running at 100000km/h . . . are you kidding me?? Are you going to question is positioning, because for someone that fast, he seem to be pretty good at timing his runs. He's a goal threat too, but he's daft naw. . . and all the assists he gives Van Persie are wrong huh In a league where idiats like Adebayor and Eboue play . . . and you're here calling Walcott unintelligent. |
Update . . . There will be two H-2-H leagues this season. And whatever list you've seen around is fake, I have not released any Team list for this season. |
. . . . . . |
Orikinla:Says the negro that was promoting this wack poo called 'Laura the Rapper' https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-158303.0.html |
davidylan:I understand the need to put in an intro, but seriously 'jingoist'?? Because you disputed the fact that I said Amy Winehouse is talented. I'll stop feeling intelligent when you stop being daft. davidylan:So basically after your copy-paste B.S, you just said what I said in my last post. I made a side point that you trying to discredit Amy Winehouse by using the Federer-Dimitrov argument is daft. If you're saying Amy is not good, then your Federer-Dimitrov analogy is irrelevant. . .it would have been if Adele/Asa's talent is what you're question here. Quoting Rolling stones doesn't made you sound any smarter. You feel the need to reply every one-liner, because you feel threatened. davidylan:So now commercial success in the US is the measure of success. Let's ignore the critical acclaim, recognition from awards and cosigns from the icons of various musical genres, that's just hype because 'not many know her' in the US. This is the part where I remind you that you're being daft, but I'm sure you already know that. What will be hilarious is you coming here to say Prince and those icons only started comparing her to the greats because she died. You certainly didnt point to awards as the sole barometerYep, you implying that I said that is stupid, especially when I mentioned other measures is either you being desperate or you playing daft as usual. but to disparage my opinion of her on the basis of "but all the major award bodies, talent spotters, fans . . . all had a meeting and decided to choose sum random troubled chic for the hype" means you think because she's won awards or the acclaim of a few critics then that should be enough to cement her greatness?Notice the way you said 'few critics' to downplay my reference to the fact that Amy Winehouse' Black to black received near unanimous positive reviews from the most credible critics. So if you come out and say Alicia Keys isn't good, we should balance Jessica Simpson's EMA with Alicia's Grammy Record of the Year? Point to one place where credible critics have praised Jessica Simpson's voice. You need to always raise a dissenting view to appear smart. Aren't you the same idiot that came to say people were faking because they said they were sad about a friend's death?? Daft. Again that was a sarcastic comment . . . not merely a tag.Another strawman . . . didn't I already state that? I'm talking about fact you ignored in making your sarcastic comment. It's simple . . . even your sarcastic statement is daft, why? CHEAP DRUGS KILL TOO!!! But you're so happy about the intelligence of your 'sarcasm' . . . obo oshi. |
GIBBS is wack going forward . . . yeah I fucking said it. Someone please tell me what he does, he goes there, gets the ball and wins a corner (when he's lucky) or throw some wackass cross that evades everybody. Yes he can overlap quickly, but the whole point of being a full back is making your impact felt when you go forward not an extra water carrier. The Gibbs can attack thing is a myth. . .should we talk about his defending now?? Watch out for . . . Ramsey-takes-too-many-touches-and-then-ends-up-playing-the-awkward-long-ball. @Dudu What decision-making has Ryo shown again?? The tough decision of whether to cross or cross?? He's not even a goal threat. In Arsenal where even Song is expected to try his luck. And also his stepovers though good could also be a massive flaw. I saw he only tried them once today . . . going forward. The last match he wasted so much time on the wings dribbling back and forth, the whole point on having attacking full backs is so he doesn't have to waste time there. He did manage to beat his man all the time though, but that's not the premiership. |
davidylan:You just feel the need to talk, I was here joking about the fact that apply your analogy, the beneficiary of the 'hype' would have been Asa/Adele and not Amy Winehouse . . . but you obviously do a better job at exposing your idiocy. davidylan:Spurning more cliche B.S I see. The strawman. Where did I point to awards as the sole barometer for greatness?? Impressive though, considering the daftness you've displayed so far. And please wait if Milli Vanilli won a Grammy for handing in sumn recorded by someone else, how does that affect the credibility of the Award?? Are you usually this retarded? davidylan:Excuse me for assuming that you ignored the fact that cheaper drugs have led to the same outcome. Oh, even your 'sarcasm' is still flawed on that. I guess you're allowed to be retarded as long as you tag is as sarcasm then. . . oshi oda. |
davidylan:So using your example now Dimitrov is Amy Winehouse and Adele is Federer? Smh. The hype argument is kinda dumb . . . they could have chosen anyone but all the major award bodies, talent spotters, fans . . . all had a meeting and decided to choose sum random troubled chic for the hype. It's your opinion though, art is subjective. At least this doesn't rank up there with the daft statement about poor people not being affected by drug addiction. |
When you listen to songs like Back to Black and Best Friends, you know why they call everyone from Asa to Adele 'The next Amy Winehouse' [flash=450,400] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQIaihrTNSo[/flash] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xQIaihrTNSo |
Sagamite:You've switched it off again . . . repeating yourself won't help you. Okay, I've tried alcohol/tobacco a few times, I'm not addicted . . . another person tries it the same amount of times and get hooked. Now we both made the choice to try it, but he didn't decide to get hooked. . . that's the difference. Why did he get hooked, these goes way beyond just choice. Coogar used an example of over-the-counter drugs, we all take them, but some get addicted, why?? They felt like destroying their liver?? There's enough medical research to show that addiction is when the brain has been affected. You can attempt to trivialise it as much as you want, that's your choice . . . let's just hope is your cultural/religious ideologies at work and not just you on a normal day. |
Sagamite:See how using your brain before typing feels?? You should try it more often. Anyway, many people have done drugs at one point or the other, from alcohol to Coke, to even legal highs. The difference me doing Mcat/Alcohol/Tobacco/Coke today and never trying it again and someone that gets addicted to it are factors that are usually not in our control. (Social, environmental, biological. . . etc) This is common sense . . . if I need to explain this on a public forum that's supposed to have intelligent young people from Nigeria, then I cry for the future of my country. |
Wasn't it the same 9ice on Vector's song last month?? |
elderz:I put this up when I got banned or sumn. Three years ago. It hurts. |
davidylan:I'm sorry but this is a daft thing to say. |
Sagamite:I know you feel the need to just talk . . . but I won't sit here and talk for hours. I said addiction is a disease and you're here giving me B.S about backtrack. . . you thought I meant taking paracetamol once a year or what? Let's all use our brains and avoid the baseless B.S . . . it makes life easier for everyone. |
Sagamite:Someone forgot to tell you that drug dependence is almost always linked to many other involuntary factors like depression and stress. |
20% choice, 80% disease.
For celebrities that are exposed day and night to these things, and the pressure you get from being choked by today's media . . . all these things with the fact that she was already a troubled person before the drugs just make it almost unavoidable. |
Every idiot knows that addiction is a disease not a choice. |
The guy died in a car accident I think. |
SIR EL: Charlie Sheen Will Choke Under Pressure Sir El Dee (The Legend) has replied in no ambiguous terms to the statements made by the manager of Chamokazzy Pornstars. In the post-match interview that followed the Illuminati FC friendly match against Real Madrid, he described Charlie Sheen's words as 'naive rantings of an overpaid rookie'. He also referred to the fact that Chalie Sheen is the club's sixth manager in 12 months, arguing that the inexperience of the managers hired by FPL clubs has been destructive to the game. "The problem with teams like Chamokazzy Pornstars is that they get young managers and force them to bendover in tight situations. They know these kids will take it through thick and thin. Thats the reason these guys choke under pressure. Managing at that club is a hard nut to crack" Also commenting on the rebranding of the the club previously known as 'Chamokizzle Gaylords', he said "Anyone can see that the change of name was done as a ploy to circumvent the recent NUEFA financial guidelines, small teams sell their name to any Tom, Dick and Harry that tips a slag in Soho Square." |
mukina2:The disciplinary committee has contacted me saying that the punishment will be announced tomorrow. Rumour has it that it will be a point deduction and the committee has assured me that no further actions will be necessary concerning the registration. Ibime and Ritchboi are well known for their shady ways and they will be brought to justice. |
