ritchboy:As I said, there are extremes on both sides. . . so I do apologise to the extreme cases like Viera's. At the end of the day, the EPL recognised their error and gave everyone a free wildcard. This means that everyone played on pure luck in Gameweek 1. Now to your own specific case, I should restart the league because you planned ahead? How does that even make sense?? So you want special treatment just because you planned ahead and teams like Davidylan were just lucky? |
Miss Eboue?? Abeg don''t le's even go there . . . I hate Eboue more than I hate Joey Barton. This guy has repeatedly cost us point, important ones. Last season where he hacked the Spurs player that was going away from goal, I wanted to kill him. That probably cost us the title. |
blank:You get unlimited transfers till Saturday . . . you don't get charged any points for that. If you want you can change the whole team and start again, it's free. |
ritchboy:The FPL put the free wildcard bruv, I don't get to decide on that. Read the link properly. 1. Receive unlimited transfers No points will be deducted for any transfers you make up to the Gameweek 2 deadline (11:30 BST on Saturday 20th August 2011). If you have already made transfers and had points deducted, these will be restored to your overall total by midnight on Tuesday 16th August 2011. If you have already opted to play your wildcard, this too will be restored at the same time. So whether we restart or league or not, we get the wildcard. And the whole talk about fairness is seen in the fact that even Lighthouse FC was affected by this too. He had an Everton player and a Tottenham player in his starting line-up last night.. Four of the Top Five teams had players that had been declared out of contention since Tuesday. . . this proves that the flaw by the FPL did not give anyone a clear advantage. Also four of the five bottom teams had no Everton or Tottenham players too. If fairness is in the equality, then your claim to unfairness is near non-existent with the numbers there in the table. |
Also for everyone, we're getting a wildcard after a round of matches . . . we all know that the most important selections we make are the ones after seeing the new transfer buys, that offer is the best free gift you'll ever get from the FPL. @Chamo So it's just 42 points that's making you wankoff like you won the league or sumn. . . I was even disappointed in my potential 50 points. Mukina too . . .abeg sit sumwhere jare. |
Okay . . . after listening to your arguments, I've decided on what I think is the best decision in this scenario. For the Premier League, we continue as it was before. Restarting it here will be unfair to people who spent the whole week planning for the the first game of the season. We were all affected by the defect, but the effect is not that disruptive to the whole process. A 30 point lead in August is nothing. However for the H-2-H leagues. . . as it is made up of 30 teams, a 3 point loss is more likely to be more difficult to even out. In this case it will be more reasonable to start in Gameweek 2. If a team is going to lose three important points, it should not be as a result of a mistake by the FPL. I hope this attempt at a compromise works for most people. |
Thanks Ritchboy . . . you still need to get a life though. ![]() Anyway, I think we should take their offer and start scoring the leagues from Gameweek 2. |
Van Persie starts. . .easy four points. |
My boy got an assist. . . Elhomandy. |
But what's up with not showing in game point?? These guys just destroyed everything. |
Okay . . . I can't find fixtures on the new H-2-H League. This new format sucks. |
ritchboy:Buhahahahaha . . . he must have been feeling cool with himself. ![]() |
Abagworo:You do know Lupe Fiasco and Eminem had albums this year right? |
@Dudu Check your Twitter DM. |
How can anyone even call Watch the Throne a competition? They backed down a lot for each other. Best chemistry I've seen on an album since EPMD. Like Jay-Z did on lift off . . . do you listen to music or do you just. . .?? Ego?? Na wa ooh. I practically study Jay-z, I've never seen him this humble. Even when he bragged, he didn't compare himself to rappers, he measured himself against other CEOs, that just made him look miniature. Anyway, I probably listened to a wrong album. . . before I go into the clever use of religion, art, and different spheres of life in the album. Comparing this to BME is just wrong, sonically, intellectually, production, concepts, come on. |
islamrules:Hahahahahaha . . . you're such a dolt. So because Jos is religious, that makes it better? Give me your dad's address, I'll refund the money he wasted raising you. . . he deserves compensation. |
islamrules:Are you stupid?? Is this anywhere near the Jos riots or the Maiduguri ethnic cleansing early this year?? Wasn't there looting in that too?? Why am I even wasting my time replying this. . . Bleep this!!! |
islamrules:I'm this close to calling you a retard, but I won't. |
We still have about 10 H-2-H spaces. Anyone interested should drop a request on the thread. |
proudly9ja:We can't speculate yet . . . THEO WALCOTT IS A GENIUS!!! If he doesn't reply to this, then we know Duduspace has been locked up. ![]() |
debosky:The simple truth is, Van Persie can't stay fit to save starving Congolese kids. . . and our options are who? Bendtner and Chamakh will get playing time and they're both extremely wack. Basically we have a really good striker for half the season, and we'll play Chamakh over long periods knowing he's not going to score enough. We need a striker that will be cool with playing second fiddle to Van P, one of those silly Dutch League wankers will do, or better still . . an EPL one. A left-back should even come before a CB on our shopping list. Gibbs has consistently proven that he's rubbish in defending. And as hyped as his attacking is, I've only seen one assist from him. |
Arsenal needs a striker more than we need a CB. I wonder why no one sees this . . .we'll end up playing Asharvin as a striker again this season. |
lalaboi:Get a BB you self-servicer!!!! |
@Emofine I fear you grammar sha, but as long as you no be Okotie, I no fear you as Tha Suspect (Oh I dey suspect that name too). ![]() Murder Inc, was simple . . . Ja Rule wanted to tell people he was a killer. Same as Death Row. This is not the same, stop putting anything into this, there are no connotations, it's a simple name . . . stop creating a problem where there isn't any. You Golliwog people, what next, I shouldn't buy a pet chimp because of the 'connotations'?? A girl shouldn't buy a female dog because a couple of ignorant people call her a bitch, I shouldn't go into agriculture because some Americans where slaves on farms? Come on. |
So you black people have decided to take the word 'ape' as your middle names now huh? |
Sir El: I Did Not Have Intimate Relations With That Woman. - El kills the Blankgate fiasco. - Embattled chairman tactfully explains reasons behind Blank's inclusion. - Women Empowerment groups show support for El's decision. Sir El, chairman of the NFL Board has finally come forward to forcefully dispel the allegations of an inappropriate intimate relationship between himself and managers of top FPL teams. When questioned about the allegations levelled against him buy Al Mustapha, he stated in very unclear terms 'That nigga is only trying to save his Bottom from the bleeping noose. He's a desperate morrafucker, why should I give him a wave of the zip? E no go better for him papa. E get any proof? To prove that I am not attempting to compartmentalize the facts and place my audience on the portmanteau of inevitable indecipheraility, I did not have intimate relations with that woman and I will like to continue with my job.' Speaking in an impromptu press conference, he also justified his decision to allow Blank FC into the league, he proposed that the last minute decision was made in order to fulfill the mandatory female manager quota. In his words, 'Mukina and Cristalz where the only female managers, since Cristalz got fired, getting women into the league has been an uphill task. I only allowed Blank in to ensure that we had more women coming in next season.' Sir Eldee's decision has been backed by various women empowerment groups. The head ashewo and Headmistress of SuckDickOrDieTrying Brotel, Madam Shakara Don-End in Chelsea stated . . . 'Man dem finna cockblock fam . . .El stop the cockfest, all Gaylord managers dem are gassed on some next level. Me know all man dem are chatting breeze, we got videos of Mr Dapo, Hans Westerhoff and Debosky Socrates doing som battyman things in my Brotel. . . swear down yeah, any more talk and bare mans gon be baited out bruv.' Mrs Dora Akunyili also showed support for the under-fire chairman stating that 'Sir El has taken the FPL to new heights from a league that was stale, male and failed'. Nayou Sabi FPL News. |
Why am I still wasting my time in school? |
duduspace:Dude you neglected the EPL last season . . . if it dey piss you off go wee wee. ![]() If you're serious this season, you'll be in the higher league next season. |
I've sent the Carling Cup H-2-H codes to about people and asked for requests, yet only one person has felt it needed to join. Thank goodness I didn't agree to make the H-2-H bigger, this is how duds woulda screwed the whole thing up. |
First Sauron comes up with B.S about . . . teams from other countries don't have to obey basic contract laws of football transfers. Now some idiot on Twitter is telling me Liverpool made a bid of 15mil for Barton on a free transfer. I think we should start giving people compulsory business classes on this thread. |
I knew she was too good to be true maynne . . . shet!!! ![]() |
