Shshshshhhhhh...anyone hear that?
Yep, that's the sound of Chamotex not posting because he got trashed by the minnow he bullied throughout pre-season.
It's funny how he was running commentary before the matches started and now he's disappeared from the thread. . . otu oshi.

At least if you're going to claim to be Barca, don't lose to Reading.

Song will not displace no one at Barca. I remember when Pep said "Sergio is the first name on my teamsheet".
Of course they'll rotate and Song will get a more attacking role but for £17mil, nah, he'll see the bench more often.

Sagamite:

Oh, really?

RUBBISH!

It is a failure of leadership, not a failure of family unit.

What utter clunking rubbish! You want to reinvent and rewrite sociology and anthropology to fit your arguments?

Go on google, go and dig out one place where experts have attributed substantial blame for corruption to family unit or upbringing.

I wait.

It is Saga you want to BS!

Wait, I'm the first to state that families are building blocks of society? You've never heard that flaws in family systems translate to problems in the society at large? WOW. . .that's a first!

So the leaders are corrupt? The leaders didn't come from families?
First you admit that when people become junkies, you admit it's the families. . . but when the leaders are it's from Orunmila? I'm getting you.
Go on with your "clunking rubbish" and all. . .Piers Morgan is proud of you sir.

Sagamite:
Cut the BS!

You specifically came here to critique ONLY the African approach. So I ask you, which do you prefer?

Your lack of will of answer shows you did not think through it before you spoke. You prefer the RESULTS of the African one to the Western one but you chose a position based on funkadelism.

Awon funky! E mi o funky. Am an African man, original.

Again I ask, the most corrupt people in the world and you're claiming a moral victory? Oh yeah I get it, corrupt leaders are from Mars.
Your RESULTS are no better.

You don't get it, there is a flaw with the method you swore by, I highlighted it, I don't need to praise anything else, I don't need to criticise anything else, if you think the points I stated are wrong argue, against them and stop wasting time.

Sagamite:

Answer my question my friend!

What do you mean the question is irrelevant?

If you are critiquing. or rather ridiculing, only ONE thing out of two options on the table, you don't know you have to justify the alternative?

Lool . . . oh, I thought the reply was self-evident?
Let me give you in clear terms. The society in that admittedly corrupt system is a product of the flawed socialization mechanism in the family unit.
In more basic terms, if your beating kids system didn't Bleep up in the first place, I won't have to pay bribe for my Japanese products.

And you asked, which would I prefer, I'll repeat myself. . . "It's not what about what I would prefer, it's about what is better for the child in the long run.", making the question irrelevant to this discussion.

There are more than two ways to kill a cat brother. If I say one of the two options stated on this very expansive thread is less attractive, I don't have to sing praises for the other, that's irrational tunnel vision.
I'm only saying there must be better options, and it should include removing intimidation from child-raising, even if hitting your kids is involved.

Sagamite:

As I said social and economic factors have an influence.

If you are travelling to Japan from Nigeria to close a deal of some innovative new products that the suppliers want to give you SOLE licence to sell in Nigeria. You have already put a large chunk of your life savings to chase this contract and it has come to fruitation. On your way you found out due to incompetent local officials and the information they provided, immigration/customs are going to make you miss your flight for not having a certain form except you pay a bribe. Will you or will you not cough up the bribe?

Chicken and egg story. Which came first? The act of beating your kids to pulp or the corruption in the mindset of the average Nigerian?

Sagamite:
I would rather have submissive and intimidated kids than kids that have no problem telling me to "fck off" or slap me. Which one will you prefer?

This question is irrelevant. It's not what about what I would prefer, it's about what is better for the child in the long run.
But as I said, we should be looking for ways to improve the situation and not reducing the level of violence we use against kids while at it.

Oh by the way, I want to know how to smack my kids into being studious. Is it by knocking their heads for direct access?? grin grin grin grin

Is it self applicable? Can I smack myself into being studious too? Is this the secret behind the excellent scores amongst Nigerian SSCE candidates? wink

Sagamite: The goal of smacking kids in Africa is to mainly have respectful kids, studious kids and moral kids.

By "respectful", you mean "submissive" and "intimidated" children? The average Nigerian doesn't see anything wrong in giving bribe and you think that's a moral victory? Spare me the rhetoric your parents gave you. . . I heard it from my parents too, along with the one that says women should keep quiet when men speak.
There are better ways to raise kids, smacking has failed, and even if the leniency seen in the Western culture isn't working, we should be looking for ways to improve instead of putting all the frustration of your daily life on your child.

I really cannot understand the rationale behind the happiness in the fact that one of the richest clubs in the world has decided to come to steal more money from your country. It's just embarrassing to watch.

This team did not come to play a free match with all proceeds going to charity, they didn't sign any star player like Arsenal did with Park Chu Young, they didn't set up a coaching school or contribute to the development of the game in Nigeria. What did they do? They asked you to buy shirts and give them more money to one Ms Obi. Pardon me for not been enthusiastic about this clown-show.

PRESS STATEMENT OF ELDEE FC

1. The Club wishes to announce that after careful consideration and a lot of idobale from the Executive Committee of the NFLFA Board, we have withdrawn our decision to move to the La Liga. We will like to express our support for the newly appointed chairperson, Lady Reeama Reeama, her assistant Phemmy Banjo innit Lalaboiy for the efforts they put into taking the league forward.

2. Over the past months, we have managed to recruit four new feeder clubs to ensure full development of our players. These teams will have first options for loaning reserve players from Eldee FC throughout the course of the year. In exchange, they will be granted a friendly match with us at any time during the year. The feeder teams include: FC Wendoworld, Pharaoh's Army, Mykaliz Destroyerz and Bad Boys FC. Further details will be released in the coming weeks.

3. There is also a need to address the recent issue going on in the press about one of our players Robin van Person. It should be noted that no further developments have taken place since our last announcement. No offers have been received and HE IS A CONTRACTED ELDEE FC PLAYER. We will only listen to offers that match our asking price of £950,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000mil.

Ox a replacement for Ramsey? cheesy

RvP, Bendtner, Chamakh, and Park's futures are still uncertain, and with Giroud/Podolski around that makes six senior strikers in the team and only one gets to start. Some sorting out needed up front.

Cazorla is a solid addition. That means at least one of Theo/Arshavin definitely leaving.

Let the good times roll!

Wenger has said it many times that Ox is moving to CMF, he also thinks Diaby is the best thing since sliced bread...and Wilshere too.
I don't see how Ramsey will go far if Wenger's clearly stated his priorities.

Of course Bendtner is going, prolly park too.

debosky: Eldee my boy. . . .long time no see. Hope you're doing good bro.

The media still believe we're on the Sahin and Cazorla chase. . . .don't know much else really.

As for Ramsey, I know some folk have written him off here already, but I still have big hopes for the lad - he will improve. Anyone taking over the Cesc role would've suffered, not to mention a player playing in essentially his first full season in the top flight after a serious injury.

For now, I'll be happy to see the back of some of the squad deadwood as that can only assist in the arrival of new players.

I'm good...I finally left Hull last month . . .lool.

I don't think Ramsey will go far though, Wenger already arranged his replacement in Oxlade-Chamberlain. And his problem seems to be more of decision making than the physical side, I hope he'll prove me wrong.

I don't understand Vela, he goes to Spain and becomes a star but plays crap over here. And he has the guts to say he wants to stay there. I'm glad Bendtner had a good Euros though, easier to send him away.
