I got a date yesterday at 9;30 am

I canceled my previous booking and rebooked on July 24th using my enrollment deadline 0ctober 14th.

I got 28th August - that's tomorrow.

Guys... My enrollment deadline at Jena is October 11th.

How realistic is this date?
Wow, see miracle oooo..... I am so happy for you, after all the trauma you had waiting for a date. You are most favoured bro. You have ample time between your interview and receipt of your AM and visa. If you possibly can, fund as soon as possible to avoid any form of delays.

Please spend some time to give God the praises He alone deserve. The door has finally been opened for your sake. Go to deutschland and succeed. All the very best.

Congratulations on your AM. Now you have gotten your AM, hope you will be willing to help several others who have issues with their applications, more especially with rejection of visa application just as others did for you, or will this be the last we are going to see you here.

Don't mind my questioning, this has been a reoccurring decimal here, as a good number of peeps break the bridge they used to cross over. I am very serious about this, so I want you to tell everyone available here if you will or not, can we hold you by your words.

Access bank will charge you 0.5% of whatever amount you withdraw. I fell victim just yesterday.
Bros pls kindly clarify, this is not quite clear. 0.5% of whatever you withdraw in which class of account abeg. Are you withdrawing money again after you have transferred money to your German block account or what. Please let's understand what you are saying

i used keystone bank last month and the money was deducted directly from my naira account/ suprisingly i was charged only 4naira till date
Bros can you kindly provide details of your transaction (how much in total was deducted, which class of account was used for the transaction, how much reflected on your German block account, how many days did it take to get to Germany) cos this your comment is unfortunately too good to be true for our Nigerian banks, at least our bankers here in our midst can attest to that fact.

Please for those finding it difficult to fund their block account once from their respective banks. Please you can use Stanbic Bank. They are very fast and reliable. Thank me later.
Can you provide facts such as how much are their charges, what currency is required for the transaction to be successful, maximum amount that can be transferred and how many days it takes to get to the bank in Germany. This will enable us make informed decisions and thank you better later, Lol.

please help, I need to do my online enrollment before on the 27 of this month and physical enrollment before 23/9. please which health insurance can you suggest for me to use.
If you are above 30, you should go for private health insurance, so in this case, either care concept or mawista can go, learnt care concept is cheaper, have not really done much research anyway, so you can do that since its the stage you are now. But if you are below 30 and you are not approaching 30 any time soon, then you have to go for public health insurance, so in this case AOK or TK is cool, though there are several others. You definitely need to do some research to enable you make informed decisions.

Good afternoon to you all. Please who can give me a best way and approach to get my blocked money in my fintiba blocked account back without going for visum interview again? I already mail them that I'm terminating this German waka in good faith for the best God's plan, however I have not receive any reply from them. But when I check their FAQ I saw this in this screenshot attached below from their app. It was stated that they will need a letter of approval from German embassy for them to reverse the money and remove/terminate such person blocked account. N.B I'm yet to go for interview and even I'm not having intention to go for it again due to an urgent sudden good development thou.

N.B This said blocked fund is borrowed lol and I have to return it ASAP grin
Germans don't play with contracts, you signed an agreement to block your money for one year for study purposes. You will have to convince the embassy why you are no longer interested in studying as planned, then you request they withdraw your application. They will give you a note which you have to send to fintiba requesting for the refund. The money will be deposited in the account you use in transferring the amount initially. All the very best in your pursuits

Pls I want to apply for geology in Ludwig-Maximilians University (LMU) Germany. I graduated with third class and I don't know if I will be accepted with my grade
LMU of all places, hmmmm bros you dey try ooooo.

Anyway this is my candid advice to you,

* Don't limit yourself to one school considering the fact your grade point average is not so strong. Try also to find courses that are related to geology and apply as well.

* You need to package your CV very well with a lot of good job experience as it relates to the course you are applying for, also if you have some published journals you can tender it or if you think your project topic was very resourceful, you can also provide it as well.

* You also need to write a very powerful convincing letter of motivation, mind you no be grammar oooo, they are looking for valid points, make sure you have very strong convincing points. You need to convince them that you are a potential candidate despite not coming out tops during your undergraduate studies. A whole deal of work right, hahahaha, don't worry it's doable, you can do it bro. Just take your time and do a lot of research on how to write a very powerful convincing letter of motivation, and you are good to go.

* You can also try to apply for bsc courses as well, just to broaden your scope.

* Above all, pray fervently, ask God to direct your steps and grant you favor in the site of the admission commitee and the program coordinator. There is nothing He cannot do. Believe God will make it happen for you.

It's well with you, God's grace as you prepare for your application. All the very best.

Good morning house, please what is the passport size and background..Please!!
35mm by 45mm , white background. Make sure your face covers 3/4 of the entire passport picture. Get as much copies as possible and go with it to the consulate for your interview. It's better that way so that you won't be short of it when they ask for more, unless you want to fall prey to those hustlers at the consulate. Those boys are not smiling. You will definitely need the passport pictures when you get to Germany for your student registration so get as much as possible.

My observation is that the student discount is derived from "zero payment on taxes and fees and then a 50% discount of the fuel surcharge".
This is not an official information but is mathematically correct with other people that have booked the student discount rate for this winter.
Many thanks bro. Guess it has to be done at their office since there is no promo code just like emirates airline. Thanks for sharing.
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 7 by Eldeee(m): 5:26pm On Aug 19, 2019

There's no link, go to Turkish airlines website
Chris, kindly state how the student discount is calculated for Turkish airline so that anybody here can choose the dates from their flight schedules without having to call your attention every now and then, and moreover let us know how to go about getting the discount (ie online or at their office). Thanks for the good work.

If you’re below 30 and you need a German Health insurance for enrollment .... send a message to this email matthias.eichele@barmer.de Tell him you want to sign up for health insurance and you’ll need an insurance certificate for enrollment.
NB : You’ll need to provide an address in Germany where they will send a copy of the certificate . A copy will be sent to your email too .
Getting health insurance is not the issue so to speak, as a good number of its task can be done online, but you need to understand what you are paying for, what level of coverage and for how much. Just like Albert Einstein said any fool can know, the point is to understand. Please be mindful of signing contracts, Germans take it very serious and walking out of it most times no be beans.

Noticed that so many newbies don't care to read at all or do some basic research thereby asking so many repeated questions all day, peeps quoting a very long comment only to write a few lines below the quote, thereby filling up the thread faster and making it very difficult for people to catch up or even contribute meaningfully as some questions are being skipped unnoticed.

Please and please, this attitude is quite unhealthy and a disservice to all and sundry. There exist a search option for crying out loud which will enable you carry out a small search on the thread just like you do on Google. Someone will just wake up and post what comes to his mind immediately without doing any form of research at all. This is quite appalling please. After all some will tag you as being rude and irrational when they are yet to contribute to any post in any way here, JUST ONLY AFTER WHAT THEY ARE LOOKING FOR. I wonder who is irrational after all.

Pls let's endeavor to be diligent no matter how little, this attitude is making this thread very difficult to read and respond to when needed. Thanks as you understandly make some adjustments for the benefit of all.
