Hello, house am new here. A friend of mine who got admission for MSc since April and applied for AD around may( Got AD august). He got a job paying around 500k recently, so he is no longer interested in the Msc. Is it possible for him to be given visa with just statement of account, he is just interested in getting the visa but is not travelling and also not blocking any account. Also any hope for Cat B guys, I got AL for bacelor degree into rhine waal last week, I have an HND certificate.

Just tell him it's not possible. Please kindly tell him to reject the admission to give room for those on waiting list and more especially let him cancel his appointment with the embassy since he is no longer interested so that the consulate will quickly assign someone else who have been praying and crying all day for a date.

No one here can authoritatively tell you that you have a chance, if you know the number of people here who are waiting for appointment date (AD), you will definitely not ask this question you just did.

In all honesty, I would suggest you plan against next year as your resumption date seems not feasible without any appointment date on sight. If you don't understand how things work here which I just noticed from your sets of questions, spend time to read from the old thread and learn from other people's experience.

Start now to be on the look for schools, apply to several schools as much as possible, send your application to schools who give out admission letters earlier, apparently schools with early application dates, so as to enable you be on a safer side to get appointment dates early enough before the rush hour.

Please my university won't hand over my transcript to me personally and they will water mark on all the pages the place it is going like for the German Embassy now they will water mark This Copy is Valid for Only the German Embassy on all the pages.

I have asked them to send it to my they said No even though it will be sealed

If they are to personally send the transcript to the embassy should it arrive before my interview or after my interview. I also hope it wont give me issues during the interview.

When we say read from the pages of this thread to learn from other people's experience, you guys think we are very irrational. The price of ignorance is very expensive and unfortunately that's what you are paying for.

Wetin concern sending transcripts to German embassy, how do you retrieve it if they finally send it there. Has it ever been heard that anyone here sent transcripts to German embassy. Where did you get such information from. For your information dude, virtually all universities don't hand in transcripts to their students, so your case is not different. A good number of us learnt by reading through other people's experience here and today we have original copies of our transcripts with us. Just imagine the problem you have brought to yourself because you failed to learn from what others have been sharing freely here.

We have said this countless number of times here, look for a university close to you, approach the HOD of a department, explain to him or her why you intend to send your transcript through them and what you need it for, then you order them to send it there while you go pick it up. Alternatively look for a company you can easily access, send it to them, go and pick it up later.

You only do this if you are using deutsch bank. As for fintiba, you don't need that. Everything is done online.

No near Deutsche Bank, unless you want cancel your Waka this winter. Fintiba so far have been lovely as we are yet to get any negative reviews since inception. Everything is done online and you can get your account opened in 2-3 days depending on how fast you respond to their request.

Abeg I take God beg you, no just try to use UPS, instead go for DHL or FEDEX. The price is dependent on the distance from your place to the consulate. I used DHL with a Lagos address as recipient and I paid 1300.

There is actually no fixed price for it. It all depends on your negotiation skills. I just called the person, told her what I want and later went to her house after the close of work to collect it and said thank you with 1,000 naira.

I really don't know what it takes to get NPC certificate as I didn't use it. Go to their office and verify from them pls.

Meanwhile taking a closer look at your document, I think you are meant to provide NPC birth certificate since you are born after 1992. If you ask me, I would say that's the exact document you need to provide based on what am seeing on your document.

If am made to understand what you are saying, is it the visa officer or the person at the high court? Your comments is not clear enough.

Meanwhile quote No 2 of the declaration you just posted negates the intent of the document. The person who prepared this document for you looks like an intern.

Thank you the reason why I'm asking is that, I did exactly this and submitted it at the embassy yesterday but the man told me that I can't do age declaration for myself because I didn't give birth to myself that I have to go and do the correct thing and send it back to the embassy. Lol.... sorry am laughing out loud, my sister no bother yourself, leave over sabinus make him go him way, embassy don't care if you did it without your parents available there. What they care to know is the contents of the declaration you submitted. Your date of birth is what they care to know and that's all.

Have you done your interview? Cos I don't understand what you meant by submitting it at the embassy, or did you forget to bring it along on your interview day? Your comments are not clear enough

Go to any state high court, tell them you want to do age declaration, they already have their format, what they will do is just to key in your personal details ( date of birth, place of origin, name of your parents etc) into their own format, then print out copies of which they will stamp and sign and collect your offering. You don't need to go with your parents pls, no need to bother them at all.

Bros abeg no put fear for the guy body, Lol. The usual practice at Abuja embassy is they collect your passport after interview and return all your documents to you as opposed to what is done at the Lagos consulate. This has been the practice over the years as far as I have known.

As regards the stamping, it's normal if you travel to our West Africa neighbors with your passport, people who don't have to pay something to be given a pass. And moreover I don't think embassy will be is interested in such as its not schengen countries or some other high profile countries of the world.

The only person that can give you the answer you seek is the program coordinator. Some schools do a pre check stuff kind of while some will evaluate your grade, curriculum vitae to ascertain your work experience so far and your motivation letters to know how passionate you are. So in essence, this boils down to how good you package your application and more especially the grace of God.

As regards your course, quite interesting and exciting, there is this course done by rwth Aachen ( Applied geophysics), guess it rightly suits your interest. From what I learnt, the course do have sponsors from shell, Halliburton etc if you perform excellently. The job prospects of course is very very good. If companies are coming in to look for students to sponsor for the program then that should give you a clear indication, and the school itself has a lot of connections with several industry giants. For the program, you will be doing the course in three world class universities in Europe, one in Eth Zurich (Switzerland), one in tu Delft I think (Netherlands).

If the course interest you so much, I would suggest you get very close to the program coordinator. Infact find a way to make him or her your friend. Try to communicate more often and express your burning desires when given an opportunity. Above all, I would suggest you be very prayerful, in all your ways acknowledge Him. Delight in the Lord and He will grant you the desires of your heart. God directs the heart of kings (decision makers) wherever He pleases just like the flowing waters.
