* Never are we going to entertain application, school, visa related questions here. Please deutschmann, fabcol, chriswazo, philfit, badmus, bl3d, demigodzeus, aodiba, henriq, ichbinbrait, justcare, klexycole, etc help us by avoid answering such questions here. Anyone that want such answers should go to the main students thread.

* Anyone asking such questions here should be vehemently attacked by a good number of people so as to serve as a deterrent to others, and to send a warning signal to wanable defaulters and desperados.

* Any questions to be entertained here should strictly be as it relates to survival tips, career tips, integration, hustling and student jobs, etc

* Please no sentiments or preferential treatment should be entertained here, let it be strictly as it pertains to the topic no matter what.

* For all those who travelled last year at least, we understand you guys have busy schedules, but at least make out time to spice up this thread with tonnes of interesting discussions based on your personal experience

* Please we should all note that experience differs according to location so please don't try to outrun someone who is telling us as e dey happen for his end.

* For our able veterans, please we need you more than ever. Come share your after school experiences, permanent resident issues, blue card, getting a job, dos and don'ts with us. We want to make this thread highly impacting and resourceful.

From my experience many schools in Germany does not accept HND for master's degree. But if you have a PGD in your field and IELTS Some schools will admit, but you have got to apply so many schools as majority will still tell you that your qualifications are not enough. Thamks. The solution is not about creating another thread or make rules, the problem is you guys who contribute and answer some unnecessary questions, new thread or rules will not stop anyone from derailing the thread because we have an existing rule ( number 1 rule ) and people still ask questions unrelated to the thread and many of you here attend to it.

I understand your points Sir, but a good number of issues here are centered around German study issues and not off the grid. But I want to believe with a very tight measures such as banning defaulters with a two months ban for instance, a good number of newbies will be careful not to derail the thread.

Yeah, it's basically geoinformatics, that's why I earlier said it comes handy for us in the industry.

Just google esri training, there you will find list of free courses. look out for their MOOC free courses, register your details and start.

I want you to realize that there are not much schools offering English taught bachelors program in Germany, you giving such conditions of online application only is just not being realistic at all.

Now go to daad.de, use the filters to get courses, you will see about 30 options available. Even there is one that has the combination of engineering and management am seeing right now (Engineering and Management, bsc Technische hochschule ingolstadt)

Click on each of the program you so desire, therein you will find their application requirement and process. Apply as fast as possible, cos time is of essence.

I am planning to apply to many schools but the problem I am having is my school has refused to send a copy of my transcript to an organization so I can get it from there. That means I have to apply for transcript all over again for any other school. Please how did u people go about that ?

Look for a university near you, go meet the HOD of the same course you just finished from or probably a related course, tell him or her your intentions, get your school to send the transcript to that department, then you go collect it. It will be as if you are applying for a Masters degree there.

I haven't tried using any course in Coursera though, but if it have the course contents and a certificate issued at the end, then it's a good deal.

But for us, Esri comes handy since its absolutely free and moreover it's highly respected in the industry.

I would suggest you forget about the form A issue. Look for aboki, strike a good deal with him, check out what the current rates are using abokifx.com, take him to your bank to avoid stories that touch, check out the authenticity of the euros, pay it using a domiciliary account. It will get to your account latest three days maximum or at most the following day.

Congratulations bro, seems you didn't do much programming language courses during your undergraduate studies. If you actually did, which of them and how many unit loads are they in total.

If the above doesn't apply to you, look for where you can do a short course on programming, get certificates showing proficiency in programming, then send it to them.

If you are interested in the offer, kindly reply the email sent to you for admissions.

I used phone when I did mine and it wasn't an issue at all...just ensure u v a very Strong network and pray village people don't ask someone to call u during the interview (it best you get a new sim)

Congratulations my brother, am so sorry for responding kinda late, honestly am just seeing your post, I have been offline for some days now.

As regards this, I also had exactly the same issue. But from their explanations, they mean to say you didn't do enough courses in GIS during your undergraduate studies.

This is what I did, I looked out for institutions doing short courses on GIS got their certificate and send it immediately to the coordinator, and they sent me the admission without condition.

I actually used FUTA, there is a short course program they do, paid 20k, got my certificate and sent immediately. The only downside is they delayed giving me my certificate even after several worries and I was not happy with that, don't know if they have improved.

I want to believe ESRI have some free courses you can enroll in and get your certificate after 4 weeks or so. That I believe will also serve.

Am so glad you finally made it, kindly respond to the offer if you are interested. They usually don't admit so much, last year I think they are about 13 or 14 students admitted.

Out of all the ten lepers who Christ Jesus healed, only but one came back to give thanks. Funny enough out of all that travelled last year, only but one (heybaby12) came back to help others with questions here consistently.

Am saying this because, a good number of guys am seeing here will definitely do much worse than the aforementioned. That's if we can even find one who will manage to come, not to talk of answering questions.

A good number of peeps here are only interested in what concerns them at the moment. Many have blatantly refused to read, thereby asking questions repeatedly and demanding an answer immediately as if people here are under obligation to answer them. Some have sent numerous pm to almost every one present because they want answers for their own personal consumption only.

How many persons here contribute their time, resources and experience to solving tonnes of problems here, anyway am seeing some cool headed guys of late creeping in with wonderful solutions, so invariably there is a glimpse of hope if it is sustained even after traveling to deutschland.

Imagine how interesting this thread will be when a good number of guys who have traveled come back to dish their experience, their timely solutions, their selfless act of service ie those willing to help post documents for others to different locations in Germany, those willing to accommodate and make life easier for their fellow brothers who they are just meeting for the very first time.

A good number of peeps here are asking about hustling in the different cities they are heading to, internship opportunities, survival tips, study outcomes and presently renewing of residence permit through block account repayments. But it's quite unfortunate, they can't get such even when the answers are not far fetched.

I want to personally acknowledge and thank these people cos they have really impacted lives here. Join me as I thank honourableseyi, Eke40seven, hadassakel(sorry if I didn't spell your moniker properly, but I want to believe you know am referring to you), Berliner1, dolpaz, Soocute, heybaby12, IAmPhiL (sorry if it was not spelt correctly), pitapromiz. This people have been a blessing to several others here.

To butress my point, I saw how expectant and happy you guys are here when oga dolpaz dropped those wonderful nuggets about integration, dating in Germany, tips for bringing in your other half over there etc. You also saw those lovely contributions about studying in Bavaria from SooCute.

If you are very observant you will notice that the culture of posting experiences on visa interview transcripts have gradually wanned off if not completely off, as the excuse of why should we do so since its virtually the same thing, but they quickly forget that they have been asking questions that have been answered here repeatedly over and over again. Recently someone here asked about test questions (maths, physics, biology etc) asked for bachelors degree applicants, but no answer was provided, of course where do you expect it to come from, your guess is as good as mine. Hahahahaaha

Now back to you reading this very piece, I want to personally ask you who you don help? Are you so heartless that you keep taking from a system without even giving anything in return. You have the answers, so do justice to it yourself.

The Indians are taking over almost every area of professional expertise, CEO of google, Microsoft, MasterCard, Pepsico, Diageo, Adobe systems are all Indians. Look at how far a good number of them have gone apart from the aforementioned. Why can't the same be said of us. These guys have selflessly helped themselves to the top. But what have we.......
