decide: Hi everyone, congrats to those that have gotten AL, AD, and AM. To all who have been assisting and keeping this thread alive, you are wonderful.
To my question, I have AL in Computer Engineering from Paderborn send through mail. I wish to know if printing the soft copy is enough for interview or I should expect a hardcopy that will be delivered by courier services.
Again, I applied with Bsc and MSC but I believe that my admission is considered using Bsc, wants to know if I can go with BSc result/Transcript or do I need to go with masters result as well. Just print out the copy sent to you by email, it will be accepted without hassles on the interview day. And for the transcript, please just go with your bsc transcripts, leave the masters transcripts abeg to avoid so many questions on the day of your interview. |

mayorflexzy: as for the whatsapp add, I sincerely apologise for that. That Was The first thing I observed when I clicked on the post. Nevertheless, I appreciate the purpose of this thread and thanks for informing me that about reading the thread through, which I've been doing.
My brother sent the link to this thread to me. He is in cottbus. I recently got a masters admission letter to uni of koln, Sociology and Social research and I am on the visa application phase.
I would keep going through the thread and if I have any question, pardon me in advance, I go ask. Na my nature. I cant afford to make any mistake at this point.
Thanks Thanks for your response. Please feel free to ask your questions, people here are nice and kind enough to answer your questions when you get confused. But having gotten to visa application phase, please kindly show same love and concern to those who are yet to get to where you are by helping to answer questions as well. Remember someone you don't even know did that for you. God's grace as you move on. |

mayorflexzy: People like you are the ones that feel they know all. I just joined this thread yesterday and wanted to seek information. The others that replied me in a cool and matured manner, do they have two heads? "I goofed myself. I bleeped up etc". Why all these words? Do you know me from anywhere? You come dey give advise after you don put Shit ontop the fried rice and chicken. My man, I want you to know that not everyone can be like you. Some people are new here, like me. Irrespective of any question, there is no need to throw attacks on the person. Thats what makes a thread interesting. Mind you, it's not a must you reply anyone. You can just ignore, if you are disgusted by any question. I respect you bro. I demand same also. Thanks Thanks for your response. Sorry if my choice of words sounds harsh. If you read through what I commented, I said I was not angry with you as I don't even know who you are and i also told you that you should have done your due diligence on time. Being a new comer the first thing you need to do is to skim through the contents of the thread to observe how the flow of things are. You take absolutely responsibility for any action you take be in public or in private. This thread is such a wonderful one as a good number of persons can attest to that fact and one can easily find help or easily be scammed as well. You just came in new and you are seeking for whatsapp adds, you didn't observe the trends and see how things go. That's why I said you goofed, (sorry for using that word though I understand it's harsh) cos you didn't do your due diligence on time. Trust me it will not take you one hour to skim through this thread swiftly and get tonnes of interesting information. But guess you didn't do that. In this thread we have warned that people should not leave their contact details open, as it exposes them to crooks. But like I said if you had done your due diligence on time before jumping in, you would have noticed this. Now you have labelled me as know it all, that's very funny and quite ridiculous cos we learn everyday and in all honesty I don't know it all, and I have learnt and still learning each passing day. Not all advice come in soft tones, an open rebuke they say is better than secret love, at least no be me talk this one, e dey for Bible. I have observed with time that people dislike open rebuke, anyway it's their choice anyway. In essence what am trying to tell you is whenever you come into a new place, take time to observe first before making any moves whatsoever. Once again thanks for your response. Wish you all the very best as you pursue your educational dreams. |

legionnaire: At least, we know better now. Not really as its only relative to his personal experience and moreover we didn't get to hear from him to know what exactly lead to him almost being disgraced cos I don't think a visa officer will just want to disgrace you just like that. So when we get to hear from several others who have been interviewed there as well, then we can ascertain better. You don't make inferences from just one sample opinion. |

legionnaire: A friend who did in Abuja recently said the VO was a bit strict with him and almost disorganised him and even sent back someone for late coming. Please let's be guided. Prepare well and let your documents be in order. How can we be guided when we are not armed with information as this. Interview sections in Abuja was not that strict and tight last year as testified by last year winter applicants and currently this year summer applicants as we read from pizzule abi wetin be that him name. I presume some persons here must have been interviewed at Abuja of which your friend is likely to be one of such persons, but you see no such information was made available here. They finished having their interviews and kept their experience to themselves alone, what a selfish way to live. It's quite pathetic in all honesty. Na only God go save us. Shalom |

lexi28: Eldee, congrats. I have personally benefitted from your humorous posts and direct reasoning here. I pray all goes well for you, and you fund on time, and land in DE on time. We can now expect candid posts of life in DE too.
on a serious note, did you notice any change in demeanor by the VO compared to when you had your first interview?
while reading the compressed interview transcripts (Alore....thanks to you), I noticed also guys were mentioning which room/cubicle they were interviewed in. Do the VO's have fixed rooms they occupy? or it is just one's luck/God? there seems to be a pattern to avoid certain VO's.lol
given the fact that you were working and graduated a while back, were you asked to present a payslip to confirm your employment or salary scale?
some transcripts here look hurried and almost as if they were better not written. others included their own answers and were quick to point out unusual line of questioning from the VO. I noticed also, the VO's keep stressing that they want facts not comparison or stories. is it like giving them bullet points as I think it should be. (that's why the answers you gave matter).
to all who have interviews pending, may you sail through like a hot knife through butter!! Your observations are not far fetched bro. You are very observant and detailed. Just give them points ,no need for comparison or too many stories As regards the VO rooms, my brother it's just a thing of grace, the one everyone seems to dread might be so friendly to you all through. Yesterday my VO just noticed she has no reason to keep asking me several questions as she already noticed I have been there before, which was why you saw more of personal questions, even when she asked about facts I know about Germany, I was busy dishing out points while she was just nodding in affirmation before she stopped me as she wouldn't be able to type everything if I keep pouring it out, Lol. As regards working and having graduated long ago, she only asked where I worked and why I waited this long before taking a decision for further studies and I told her it was my career plans to work first before enrolling for further studies. There was nothing like presenting a payslip or employment letter. Thanks for your kind gestures. |

vikmeek: Hi guyz
Quick question, for those Already in Germany, are students allowed work? And how easy and lucrative is it over there. Pls I need honest and truthful answer...
I’m in Australia, and yes student can work and good pay but tuition is very high. I want to sponsor my bro to Germany, kindly help Yeah students are allowed to work in Germany. By law you are given 20 hours per week to work so as to enable you focus on studies as well and still pay bills as they come. Work here is dependent on several factors which are location, skill set, language etc. The average wage for students is €10 per hour, while some bigger cities like Munich, Stuttgart, Cologne, Hamburg, etc you can get as high as €15-€17 per hour depending on the type of jobs. On the contrary, a good number of students job pay €450 per month and such jobs are more often not the regular IT skill jobs that comes with some good pay. Some people combine such jobs with other such jobs to make ends possibly meet. Jobs become somehow difficult if you stay in a city that is not all that thriving or probably inside remote places. So in such situations, students go to nearby bigger cities to work. Hope this helps. |

MicroMo: Guys, Appointment date came in, and the venue is German embassy abuja. Is this normal? I thought it's only lagos There are several possibilities to this case of yours. It could be that dates are becoming somehow scarce in Lagos due to the increase in applications this year, and they decided on their own to push you to Abuja since you have indicated before now that you reside there despite cancelling it earlier. If you noticed recently someone have been waiting for a date since five days now, category A. Again it could be that available dates that will match your enrollment deadline is not readily available, which made them switch you to Abuja. If you stay in Abuja, or even if you don't stay, pls kindly go. Soon they will stop giving out dates just like they did subsequent years |
