Mee346: No, Canada does not require a formal travel itinerary or cover/introduction letter in the same rigid way the Schengen visa does, but a well-written cover letter is strongly recommended for a Canadian Visitor (Tourist) Visa.
What Canada officially requires
For a Canadian visitor visa, IRCC focuses more on:
Purpose of travel
Ties to your home country
Proof of funds
Travel history
Intention to return. I can help you with a well detailed cover letter template. You just have to paste your details and necessary infos required Hello Boss, is cover letter same as LOE, and if same can you please help in what should be contain in 1? Thanks |

ItzRay: Hello guys, good day to y’all.
Please who has traveled or is traveling with Lufthansa Airline to Toronto, Canada? Will there be need for a Transit Visa or Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) while traveling with Lufthansa Airline?
Someone should kindly put me through plz. 🙏🏽 You won’t need a transit visa so long your stop is 1 stop before final destination in Canada. If your stop is more than one within Europe you’ll need a transit visa. Used Lufthansa in April to Toronto |

Please, my POF is in Naira savings account, how do l have access to my cash in canada.
Cos, l use my naira account as my POF . And l have to show statement at POE incase l an ask. So after showing them and clear...how do l get access to my cash because money dey naira account ooo
Abeg make una no laugh me too much ooo. I be JJC l wan ask make l know go make mistakes. Una thank you. I appreciate y'all You can use lemonade to convert from your naira to Canadian bank account. Other option is look for someone who has dollar and want naira. But you have to be careful with this option so you don’t get scammed or you are transferred bad money. Better you deal with someone you know when arrive in Canada or use first option |

Which one is most preferred, and acceptable by IRCC? ebank/mbs is more preferred as it is easier for Ircc to verify than hard copies that can be easily faked or arranged |

Elboki109: Study permit and SOWP... It's Ontario sir On the Uber. Depending on the city you’ll settle. If Toronto you need a car not more than 5 to be able to drive all around Toronto. 8 years but excluding downtown, mississauga and Brampton. If other cities like London then 10 years newer is accepted in those places. To be eligible to drive Uber. You need to have a G license. To get your G license, process your driving extract from Nigeria. Prepare for G1 and sit for the exam immediately you arrive ( you can download G1 prep rest ) to study for the test, your extract help you skip G2 and go for the full G. Before going for the G, you can book one or two classes with driving instructors to help familiarize with Ontario driving and rules. Also consider using YouTube “type G driving test’ in whatever city you are taking the test. You can also consider going to smaller city to take the test to guarantee you make it on the first try. You can get your full license within first month following this step. Goodluck |

BenedictStinson: I get your point but transit has to be considered. 9am lecture means you have to leave by at least 8am. One hour lost on the road no be beans . But anyways I'm still looking at options so I might still look at that. The one close to the school what's the price and are there still other available rooms? $725, directly opposite main campus. Don't know it's student subletting their room, except i am asking the guy if his roomates already have someone |

BenedictStinson: I'll be arriving Canada this week for Fanshawe. I'm checking different options and yeah private bathrooms are scarce but 40 minutes transit seems like a lot though. Well, Considering transportation is free in London with your FANcard, i don't think that;s a lot for an apartment like this and with what i have asked around that the price is very good 750/room in London. If you are driving is less than 20 mins and some people also carpool, beside what if you get accommodation close to school and job in over an hour distance. I am just looking for a comfortable apartment that is also affordable. Though i already got one with a private bathroom directly in front of school, just a minute walk, downside is that i have to share the apartment with 4 other people as it is a 5 bed and that seem like a lot. I will eventually go for that if i don't see anyone to take this with. |

Please i need, I am submitting documents using old old portal
In the Pof section, apart from Bank statement, what other documents do i have to attach with it.
Documents that i have to upload,
1. Property/land sale document to explain lump sum 2. Company registration ( CAC) document, business sign board, product pictures, invoice, email with clients, Business instagram page, website 3. Landed property documents, c of o, survey plan and deed. 4. Property Valuation certificate
I know some other document will be in client information, but i want to know which to upload with Bank statement and tuition payment to the pof section.
Also, those that have had more than 3 employment activities in the last 10 years, how did you complete that section, i printed an empty employment section and filled the remaining activities so i can scan and add to my imm1294e but there's no way for me to merge it, so how do i get passed there. |

daisy1: Hello Gurus, please I have some questions and I will appreciate any guidance you can offer me.
I have a bachelors in Accounting and after NYSC, I practised as an accountant for 1 year from 2013 to 2014. However, from 2014 till today, I have worked in marketing and have grown to become a marketing manager. Here is the dilemma, I work 2 jobs - 1 full-time as a marketer and the other as an accountant (The accounting job is part-time consulting) and I get paid in Dollars, I also get a bonus as well in dollars. This dollar is what I have saved up to be able to pay my school fees for the Canadian school I selected. I want to do a PGCert in Marketing.
1. My proof of funds is USD, do I tell the visa officer that I have 2 jobs where I earn salaries? My fear is, my SOP is saying I don't want to be an accountant anymore, I want to work more in marketing but I am still working as an accountant. and I cannot lie about the accounting job as the narration on each payment is "payment for accountant"
2. My marketing job contract clearly states that I want to go for Masters in 2023 and my working hours will be reduced to 20 hours per week to allow me to study upon my return, I will be offered a higher position. But the salary I earn for this role is in Naira and the naira account is basically empty. I have less than 200k in it as I spend from it. My question is, do I say that I convert my naira into Dollars to supplement my USD earnings?
Please I will appreciate any guidance. Thank you I don't think you will have any problem, you work two jobs and probably find marketing more interesting than accounting, you don't have to lie about your job and does not concern vo which job paid you the money for your pof. My opinion |

Whatever works for you is fine. In my case, I attached a picture and the value of the property. This was not even an official valuation. I think it depends on how well you're able to prove it. If you have all those documents, there is no harm in attaching them just make sure you are not only attaching but explaining well. Alright, Thank you |

Hello Everyone
In using properties for home ties, Will only picture of the house be sufficient or i need to add the building plan.
What part of the survey plan will i need to scan, and also the deed of assignment/allocation, will i be scanning the entire document or how do i go about it.
Do i also need to value a landed property that have a C of O?
I am in the process of valuating the properties, do i also need to notarize them after valuation?
Please i need someone that has done this before to guide me. |
