I'm not even surprise, same thing they practiced during GEJ Regime that made Yoruba to neglect GEJ when he was contesting for second term. I am 100% sure if Obi become president he will govern in a way that will never allow any Igbo man to become the president of this country again. |
kessdivine4all:You are really delusional Average Yoruba man prefer Igbo women? Majority Yoruba men still married Yoruba women. Few that married Igbo women doesn't mean it is the norm in fact most Yoruba families won't allow their sons to marry Igbo easily, keep being delusional. |
BossGerald:Without Lagos? As if Lagos is not a Yoruba land and being rule by Yoruba. The whole East can't match Oyo and Ogun in development, which part of your barren region is even as industrialized as Ogun state not to even talk of Lagos? The East is more developed but you guys can't stop trooping out of the barren region everyday to all states in the west. One Azuibike became general you guys were chestbeating like clowns, Yoruba are top minister in US and UK and without any noise, the Yoruba woman in UK even almost become their Prime minister "Yoruba can't compete with Igbo", what an Insult, we compete in saner clime not with barbarians and savages in a barren region. Yoruba are top millionaire in UK and even bought airports, in USA a Yoruba the Founder of calendly was reported by Forbes to be a billionaire and among the richest African in USA, but to you Yoruba can't compete with some barbarians from a barren region.
|
BossGerald:Can't compete with Igbo, you are truly delusional. What is there to do in your Barren region? What is in South East that Yoruba doesn't already have greater? Yoruba Compete in UK and USA, you see the numbers of Yoruba that won elections in USA recently? You over rate your Barren region, there is nothing for Yoruba to do there. What an Insult can't keep arguing with a deluded like you |
BossGerald:You are delusional, those are pictures of Osogbo you can use Google to confirm. Go to Osogbo and see Anambra indigenes pushing wheel barrows. |
BossGerald:This is Osun state, Osun generated 21 billion even as one of the state with the least IGR in South west. Anambra home of chest beater and ghost billionaires could only generate 30 billion. South East is the smallest region in Nigeria, Oyo is bigger than South East, it should be the easiest region to develop.
|
BossGerald:That’s the reason why you troop out of your barren region everyday to south west like there is a war going on over there. |
Kudos to Ogun state government |
South west the best side |

Maaverick:Religion is the number one answer People believe God will take care of the children for them some how. |
ScamHunter:So much chest beating from a tribe that were colonized by ordinary Igala You called British Ijebu war a short war but even the Ekumeku you chest beat heavily about was described as just a movement, what made the movement last so long was the guerilla and terrorist tactics that was adopted by Anioma people. Unlike the British - Ijebu war that was conventional one, Anioma didn't have the ball to confront the British in a conventional war, they just attacked unsuspecting British officers and run like cowards and terrorists. Just like Boko haram and ESN What made you think it was so great lol? Do you even know what it feel like to manage an empire? The Igbo were too disorganized to have any empire. How big is Igbo land? Oyo state alone is bigger than all South East States and even with that small land Igala people still managed to conquered and colonized Igbo in Anambra, today Igala are still in Anambra. Igbo are lucky Igala, Benin, and Yoruba shielded South East from Fulani Jihadists, if not the small land you are chest beating of today would have been taken over by Fulani and what we would have today would be Igbo/Fulani just like Hausa/Fulani.
|
ScamHunter:No excuses go and Google search Kiriji War Do you know how many Yoruba that died during the Civil War across Yoruba land? Do you even know how many that died during Oyo Empire Era and fought to Increase Oyo influence to far away Dahomey, Oyo Empire even clashed with Ashanti Empire in Ghana? There were also Fulani jihadists trying to take over Yoruba land. Yoruba wanted Peace at that time and were tired of wars, the British also had superior technology and Armaments it wouldn't be easy to fight them at that weakened state, the British Promised peace and that made Yoruba to easily surrender. If there wasn't so much war in Yoruba land at that time and Yoruba were united, the British really wouldn't have had it easy. |
ScamHunter:Ordinary Igala people easily colonized Igbo, but here you are beating your hairy chest
|
ScamHunter:Stop beating your hairy chest lol, the only reason Yoruba did not challenge the British much was because of the Civil War in Yoruba land, even with tha some Yoruba sub tribe still challenged them, go and Google about the British-Ijebu war and even Before the British took over Lagos it was after they defeated THE Yoruba in Lagos. The British are only lucky Yoruba were not that United during the precolonial Era, the chaos, disunity and civil war in Yoruba land gave the British easy victory and made Yoruba surrender because at that time most Yoruba sub tribes were tired of fighting any war.
|
ScamHunter:Shut up is it not the same Igbo, Igala, Benin and Ijaw sold to slavery? Stop beating your hairy chest lol, the only reason Yoruba did not challenge the British much was because of the Civil War in Yoruba land, even with tha some Yoruba sub tribe still challenged them, go and Google about the British-Ijebu war and even Before the British took over Lagos it was after they defeated THE Yoruba in Lagos. The British are only lucky Yoruba were not that United during the precolonial Era, the chaos, disunity and civil war in Yoruba land gave the British easy victory and made Yoruba surrender because at that time most Yoruba sub tribes were tired of fighting. |
onumadu:Igbo makes the best soldiers lol? How I will say Yoruba, Yoruba are tacticians. Yoruba can easily dominate Nigerian Army on merits alone if not for Fulani and Hausa. Biafra were winning the Civil War until Yoruba entered the fray. If Yoruba did not partake in the Civil War and Ojuwku left South west alone, Biafra could have easily won the war. |
EmmaJnr1:If Amanda was in Nigeria, IPOB would have killed her for joining the zoo Army even if Nigerian government promote her to any high ranking position, IPOB would still happily behead her like they killed so many soldiers of Igbo extraction. |
If she became a Brigadier General in Nigerian Army, IPOB would happily behead her like they killed high ranked Nigerian Army officer of Igbo extraction in the East. They wouldn't care if she is Igbo. You guys have been chest beating like apes since yesterday, saying Nigerian Military will never allow her to get to that position in Nigerian Army but would IPOB or ESN also allow the same? IPOB killed so many senior officers of Igbo extraction in the East that could be the Azubuike of Nigerian Army tomorrow, You guys are just Shameless with your victim mentality and wailing. |

The gold mines is helping Osun generate more IGR, the IGR of Osun increase like 100% in Just two years |
Ghh |
I don't know if it is only me or there are others like me, I can't trust any of my girlfriends with my foods. There is this girl I am dating and we are currently having issues because of that, I told her plainly not to bother about making my foods that I can cook myself but she is not having it. With all the stories on the Internet about girls cooking all sort of abomination for their boyfriends as charm to hook him to them I just can't stop thinking about it, I can only eat the food my girlfriend cooked with confidence if I'm 100% involved in the process. Is it only me with this phobia or there are others like me? |
Someone should provide the pictures of Labour Party rally in Osun that Peter Obi attended and what was the total votes of Labour Party after the election? |
DOTian:I can't blame you for calling the gesture of showing respect in Yoruba culture as servitude because there is nothing like that in your culture, you are just jungle barbarians without culture people that wakes their parents up with a kick. It is not only Yoruba people that practices that, people in CHINA, Japan, Thailand and Asia in general practices it but something like that is alien to a barbarian like you. At least if you want to denigrate Yoruba for that you should speak the whole fact, Yoruba doesn't prostrate to the kings alone we prostrates to our parents, elders etc as a form of showing respect but according to you any people that practices any form of bowing or prostrates are slaves only barbarians and uncivilized Igbo are Freeborn. The funniest thing is that people like you may happily bow to Mary statue as a catholic like so many Igbo out there that practices catholic as a religion, the same religion the colonial masters you castigated forced on you through slavery but you can condemned your fellow Africans because they bow as a form of showing respect to people in their midst and not to a lifeless statue the same colonial masters convinced you to be worshipping.

Asour:You are right I don't believe northerners aptitude and abilities are lower than southerners, our priorities are just different. But when they stay like that for so long without changing people would start believing it to be true and considering the possibility that maybe they have bad aptitude. Northerners are not the only people practicing Islam on earth, we have Saudi Arabia, Iran, Pakistan, Turkey etc and they excel in academics and science. Turkey, Pakistan, Iran are among the leading nations when it come to military technology. The northerners just don't want to change and when they refuse to change people would start believing that their Aptitude and abilities are poor. |
