What a sad loss in the name of political power. If only this man did not leave his house to go to that local headquarter. It is a big shame and terrible loss to the people of Osun state, irrespective of the political party. |
That’s alright. |
Hopefully they do not make that place the same as Rivers state. APC is apparently doing all possible to push PDP away from the states controlled by PDP. Are we not looking at a one party nation? Afterall, Hope Uzodimma recently declared Imo as a one party state. |
The Lagos assembly should not be experiencing such at this age and time. Obasa has gone to court. The assembly is absolutely peaceful and no threat envisaged. One wonders the reason for invasion and show of power by security agents. The way things are going presently, all hands move be on deck to get Nigeria moving and avoid such distractions and crisis. I sincerely hope the security agents will move away and let the house continue with its daily business. |
Tinubuadvocate:Exactly. They made various statements out of anger and got support from many Nigerians. Now they have had some rethink and want us to shut our mouths. Is it not good to think and calculate properly before talking sometimes? |
Winnin009:Where are the rats and where’s the house on fire? Can you explain for the purpose of this discussion? |
SonofLagos:The words of a fellow who does not know that he is all hat and no cattle. A fribble and a minikin. A total subjected slave, who is not able to eat until he receives crumbs from his slave master. Just to think that you son of a day and night stinking street walker of a mother, can abuse the parents of others. With no respectable or dignifying home, how would you not abuse your own gay mother here? A Scamp and a scoundrel that you are with no future and completely worse than the dregs of the society. If there was anyone produced in your acclaimed baby factory, it must be you. Born of a woman, along with several other stone head like children of different fathers. Can you not see that you cannot tell your own history of origin? |
gidgiddy:Oga you are the one making baseless remarks and thinking like a native doctor. That your own head must be screwed backwards! If you are checking events properly, you should ask yourself if Akwa Okuko, Ekene Igboekweze, popularly known as Eke Hit and Onyeze Jesus are the only native doctors and Prophets in the whole of Anambra state. In your community alone, can you count how many native doctors and Prophets who practice there? That is if you are truly from Anambra state or the SE as a whole. Why were they not arrested? How many have run away? Why would they leave their homes to relocate, if their hands and businesses are clean? Are the the only ones in the entire Anambra north, south and central? By the way, how many native doctors have you heard of their arrests? The question remains why mischievous native doctors and prophets would introduce such wickedness as human sacrifices for wealth. Is the Anambra person known for quick money, or trading, hardwork and honesty? Anambra people are known to climb the ladder of wealth slowly and meticulously and even the Boy system is now a known model all over the world. When the law was made, was it restricted to native doctors and eze nwayis only? Did you not read that even the so called miracle working Prophets who would not be able to prove their claims would be arrested and jailed? I gave you an excerpt from the law and you took out the portion that you felt was personally troubling your own activities, as a member of native doctors association. Government simply says get yourself registered and forward your bio data. If the constitution of Nigeria does not recognize your famed okeite, does the same constitution not recognize the crime of murder, when humans are used as sacrifices? Or you have not heard the words “illegitimate wealth” before? You do not know that it contravenes the law? Who told you that the SE was the safest place last year by the way? Truly you this bros, are you sure that you are not writing from Sambisa or Sokoto? When was the last time that you got as far as the Asaba end of the headbridge, not to talk of the Onitsha end? Or you do not hear the daily news from Imo, Ebonyi and Abia states? If not for the action of Soludo in introducing SASA (aka odo), touts and agberos would still remain at the headbridge doing their evil practices. Only around last December did we begin to feel the impact and move about freely at the headbridge. With operation Udo ga chi, Agunechemba and aka odo, we are beginning to experience some form of sanity. Mondays started to return gradually at the end of last year. |
Winnin009:Before commenting, read properly. If you took your time to read my initial comment, you’d have noticed that I talked about the security law and what it contains. In that law, no mention was made about women, what they wear and innocent citizens of the state. The law is about wiping out all forms of crime and making security and safety of prime importance to all. Reading with clear understanding is very necessary on public forums like this to avoid embarrassments. |
Who are we to believe? Adeleke in his statement claimed that the removal was done at the tenure of the same Oyetola. Now Oyetola has turned around to say that Adeleke used extra judicial means to remove the council chairmen. Are we expecting another Rivers state in Osun state? |
What did you expect? It certainly would be so. Panels must be set up to prove the previous administrations, as is the practice. This way, supporters would see them as saints and new messiahs. Meanwhile the same new government would embark on a systematic and well calculated embezzlement of public funds in their tenure. We are awaiting the courts. |
papyjaypaul:Yes, you can be the uncle of an older person. If your parent’s first children had children before you were born nko? You become their uncle immediately. |
SonofLagos:Do you have a life? Your miserable life is remote controlled by your slave masters. Sadly you are not able to help yourself. I expected you to talk about fathers, as is customary with irresponsible layabouts like you on this forum. You did that as you do not appear to have any feeling of fathers. Your so called father must be one of those vagabonds around, or what rats like you term “street urchin”. While he was not able to nurture you properly, you broke away to live on the streets, begging for food. Without doubt, just like you, your father is hungry and begging for food. Even street beggars are better than you, as everyone knows them by their profession. Here you are, chanting alright sir, in order to get some ration beans and bread and yet not understanding what’s hitting you. Na that hunger and Obi matter go kill you and your vagabond father at last. |
SeraphicWind:You need to read the security law to discover that the announcer was overzealous. Arrest an innocent woman dressed anyway she likes and find the same security agents coming after you. The law is against criminals at all levels. It is against male and female native doctors, fake miracle workers, kidnappers, yahoo boys and other forms of criminals. It has nothing to do with the dressing of women or those who innocently go to nightclubs and bars. |
gidgiddy:Look, I seriously doubt if you are an Anambra citizen, as you claimed here a couple of days ago. If you are truly an Anambra person, then you would have heard the announcer talking about pants and bras in Abagana, which is a town in your acclaimed state. I forwarded excerpts from the Anambra new security law to you. Did you see any part prohibiting warning of pants and bra, or even “hookup”, as irresponsibly propagated by the announcer? Oya, touch any of the ladies and see if you’ll not be arrested. Or molest any decent person going to a bar or nightclub and see if the same security agencies will not arrest and prosecute you. Do not say what is not contained in the law, except you want to display some ignorance here. Your likes were shouting to the rooftops about insecurity in the state. Now that the governor is doing something about it, you have been talking about “misplaced priority”. If security is not the pressing issue in Anambra state now, what else is? Are you not ashamed that your fellow Anambrarians have not had peace since Kanu was arrested? Are you not ashamed that even people from other SE states made life unmanageable for the good people of Anambra state? Are you not ashamed that even as of last Christmas, a lot of people claiming insecurity could not arrive to enjoy their Christmas holidays? Once again, you appear like a beneficiary of okeite or the evil practices of ndi dibia and eze nwayi. Anambra state seems to hot for you and that informs your disagreement. Take note that they are all on the run. While Anambra has become too hot, you cannot make Asaba your base, as the Asagba of Asaba has made the same security announcement. Tell your okeite people to relocate to Sudan, Mali or Congo where their services would be appreciated. |
Niok2:Thank you for giving the irresponsible fellow the appropriate response. |
SonofLagos:Your poorly coordinated written English, gave you away as a typical baba so pe rag wearing person. Who is the “low life” if not your bewitched and poverty afflicted self? You stand in the public to eulogize your demigod, yet in your closet you shed secret tears, not knowing where your next meal will come from. You use the word “myopic”, while you have not had yourself delivered from your amnesia, caused by excessive hardship. Sadly, you cannot recall the videos of your people chasing and seizing trailers of food all over your areas. Who will get you out of your misery? |
simpleseyi:Abi? And yet you are not able to afford your three meals per day? And yet you beg to eat daily. And yet even transportation is difficult for you? How has your life improved since your acclaimed winning? |
NaijaNaWaa:One wonders the reason for the pretense and fake nationalistic feeling. When matters like this come up, members of the National Assembly, both serving and past alike, should bow their faces in shame. One of their members, Farouk Ahmad, was caught on camera demanding bribe of $3m from Femi Otedola and sent to jail. If Otedola did not have a camera, who would ever believe that a very respected individual like Farouk Ahmad would do that? Members of the second assembly were accused openly of receiving bags of Ghana - must - go to promote and support OBJ’s second term agenda. Members of the National Assembly get accused every year of budget padding. Buhari was voted for to stamp out corruption. They defeated Buhari and tarnished his image. Foreign news media have aired too many news details of the dangerous levels of corruption in Nigeria, yet our leaders choose to continue to the detriment of our national image. OBJ himself told them openly that the NASS is a cesspit of corruption. What is there to hide, when in their own, they destroyed their reputation. Who wants to believe Ben Bruce Murray in the face of the reality of what happens in our country? First we will believe the Binance executive because of what we already see and know. It is up to them to prove the man wrong. How they intend to go about that is their business! |
Thanks for this OP. |
With the cost of yam seedlings and cassava stem in the last two months, we expect yams to be costlier this year than the years before. We also expect cassava and it’s by products to be very expensive. Look at vegetables in the market presently and you’ll wonder what’s going on. A bunch of vegetables that you could before Tinubu get for 50 naira presently sells for 500 naira. The market women tell you that there’s none for 200. For the first time this year, we should expect yams to go for as far as 10k. Government’s efforts are not noticed in the area of seedlings, so how can they claim that food prices are down? Infact by April-May, prices will hit the roof. What about poultry/beef and fish? What is there to talk about when we all see the obvious in the markets? |
Were they all waiting for an opportunity like this to attack the man? Anyway, it will all pass in a very short while. |
Chai. The young man’s expression said it all. He was like: “Meaning what na Funmilayo? Which kind joke be that? Na you go propose to me, abi na me suppose to propose to you with the ring? By the way, na you want to marry me abi na me go marry you? You want to turn me to woman wrapper if I agree na. Abeg dress far make I pass”. |
Imagine if the two of them meet somewhere and greet like this: El Rufai: Wendel Simlin how you dey na? Long time no see. Reno Omokri: Commander I dey na. Abeg eh how Sani Ubah come do you like this na? Abeg na me you still dey call Wendel? You no dey forget something? |
That’s very good news. The areas between Okpela and Okene especially have been more dangerous for close to ten years. Hopefully security operatives can achieve total success with destroying those evil people operating there. Hopefully also they can keep the entire highway from Benin to Okene very safe. Thank you to ESSC. By the way, is ESSC not one of the accomplishments of Obaseki? |
helinues:For the first time ever here on Nairaland, you gave the right response here. What happened to you today? On a previous thread, you also gave the right response. Well done. Maybe I need to buy you a drink after all! |
Globad:That’s the part that he does not appear to understand. His colleagues got tired of his leadership and removed him, just as they agreed at the beginning to make him their leader. They have the right to remove him. The seat is not his inheritance or family’s property. Now his claim is that he should not have been removed while he was away from the country. He must be reminded that in this country, while Theodore Orji was in prison, Orji Uzor Kalu, an APC stalwart, bought his governorship nomination form, filled it, campaigned for him and made him the governor of Abia state. Again, while he was hiding in Rivers Government house, Fubara got the nomination form for the governor, campaigned for vigorously by Wike and made the governor. So for Mr. Obasa, it no longer mattered if he was in the assembly on the day. His colleagues wanted him out and they had the votes to get him out. If he was there, they would have removed him. If he returns to the seat and they still choose to remove him, they will do it the same day. APC humbled Ambode and as of today, he remains a staunch member. The butterfly must not term itself a bird, as Mr. Obasa wants to make people believe. Tinubu along with others in the governor’s council made him what he became. If there’s a decision against him, he must be loyal and keep quiet. He needs to retrace his steps and behave. However, if he feels that he has what it takes to return even to his seat in 2027, not to talk of the governor’s seat, then he can try. |
Very good. Thanks for the clarification. |
Why are some women so full of evil like this? |
Ahhhhhh. She deserves to be sold and her body used for the same things that she did to others that she sold. |
Welcome aboard. By the way, how can we have working and upcoming car plants in Nigeria, yet we import used ones with their prices completing with the prices of Nigerian made vehicles? Can our local manufacturers give us vehicles at cheaper rates and by this discourage importation of old bangers from all over the world? The same goes for Nigerian rice. The price competes with the price of foreign made rice, yet the cost of production and delivery to warehouses are not the same. |

that’s why you are still begging for freedom from your Yoruba and Hausa/Fulani slave masters🤣😂😂
