Wealthoptulent:Can you remind us the full names of “Hushpuppi” and his criminal gang members again please? |
Ruke1989:Maybe you need to ask how Delta became a state before making such unlearned comment. You need to know if your Urhobo people wanted to be of the same state with the Igbo speaking people of the now known Delta north in the first place. You even need to know if the same Urhobo people wanted share the same state with the Itsekiris and Ijaws, when the decision to carve states out of the old Bendel came up. Before jumping into such deep matters, especially as you have chosen the none existent word “hatred”, please ask, so that you”ll not find yourself floating and embarrassed. And by the way, before you mention the name Omo Agege in the affairs of APC in Delta politics, remember the names of the likes of Great Ogboru, Pat Utomi, Olorogun Emerhor, Cairo, Victor Ochei, etc, who were the leaders and later even the then unknown Festus Keyamo. Most of them were of the PDP, except Ogboru, Utomi and Keyamo. Omo Agege started off on the platform of PDP and only defected to APC in 2017, after contesting on the platform of Labour Party. Others previously mentioned were of PDP and no one considered tribe while previously voting in Delta state. Everyone voted as Deltans and mostly followed James Ibori, an Urhobo man, as the leader. Myopic people like you have brought the tribalism into the politics of Delta state. For your information young fellow, it is settled among party leadership that the government or office holder have the right to develop their zones ahead of others. That’s why you see governors focusing developments in the own senatorial zones. The same goes to the leaders at all levels. It is not disputable that Warri is having a facelift. It is also not wrong. It is the right of the governor. However, Sheriff as a governor appears to be doing badly, when you listen to the streets. Hopefully he can improve, otherwise APC and LP are on the wings to take over. Lastly on Ned Nwoko. The last election saw him score 92,000 votes while Kennedy Kanma scored 86,000 votes, both beating Nwaoboshi of APC. You need to know that PDP has always had the upper hand in Delta north and with the aspiration of Okowa, it may be hard for Ned Nwoko. There will be fight to finish between PDP, LP and APC in 2027. |
Promise47:He’s not only “a gunners”, he’s “a Arsenals”! |
God1000:Can you describe what makes the wars illegal please? |
AdolfHitlerxXx:Those caught in the same acts in US/UK/Canada, including paedophiles are from where please? Or you want to pretend that you do not know? |
No wahala. We go dey carry our own “lylon” enter una shop. I hope una no go refuse. I go carry carton join incase I buy plenty things. One day una go tell us say due to the economy y a go dey charge entry fees into una shops. By the way, if I take my ordinary hands pack wetin I buy, e go be offense? God dey! |
papyjaypaul:Agreed with your comment. He killed and made many families miserable. However, can we in all honesty call him the worst criminal in our nation? What do you want to say about those who have over the years, systematically embezzled our common patrimony? Those whose wicked actions sent uncountable Nigerians to their early graves? Those whose wicked actions brought this nation the inglorious title of the poverty capital of the world? Those who deeds created the irreparable damage to our mentality, using religion and tribalism as their weapons. Are they better than Evans and his likes? Yet we eulogize them; call them saints and saviors. Are they better than herdsmen and terrorists? |
Very clear, very straight forward and very sincere, coming from a King. I hope they will not trouble him for this. By the way, with the speed at which herdsmen overran the south during Buhari’s era, are we not seeing them trying to take advantage by establishing the Shariah courts in the SW? |
JIBO4REAL:Did you read “carefully and attentively” before responding? Where is the hatred? Or do you need help to sort out myopia? |
Did he even make sense to himself? How did he sound to himself after the comment? By the way, does his faith profess “sabbath day”. How can he claim Wednesday as sabbath day when he is not a Christian? People like this man are the reason why there’s religious intolerance in this country. If they can insist on having Shariah courts in the SW to serve the interested Muslim faithful, what’s wrong with the Christians choosing theirs? The same forefathers that he talked about never polarized this country. His likes and that MURIC man are among those who have used their religious beliefs to push this country to the precipice. They have used religion to tear the nation and citizens apart. We were never this divided until we accepted democratic governance once again in 1999. Please let’s have some rest of mind. |
With anti-catching juju around his waist, he was still caught and handcuffed. Mumu. And when there’s no light in his community, he expectedly would join others to complain. Now he will be the example to his fellow evil men. |
As if this afternoon, going by the Police service commission who have corrected their mistakes, Sowore appears correct. |
Massiveglory:May your weekend be very pleasurable. |
“ Umeagbalasi described the Uga Junction and Atani Road Naval checkpoints in Onitsha, Anambra State, as the “most lucrative,” allegedly yielding over ₦600 million from extortion at gunpoint”. That road is an absolute disgrace to the Nigerian Navy. The officers are so nonchalant and non caring who’s in the vehicle. The cost of transportation on the route is made worse by these greedy security personnel. Between Uga junction and Okpotuno - a 15 minutes distance in between them - there are three Navy checkpoints. They collect tolls gently in the day. The moment it is evening, they go mad. Each time Keke and Korope driver go past them, they must drop 100 naira. These drivers dare not disagree. Those who drive trucks suffer in the hands. Those who carry goods like cement, woods, iron rods, vegetables, cassava, etc, on their tricycles MUST pay on arrival at each checkpoint. These officers make tons of money daily. What about the police men who stay under the second Niger bridge? It is a big disgrace to these security people. There are also the yellow fever policemen who collect tolls after Obodoukwu junction. Shame on them all. When they are attacked and killed sadly by the evil unknown gunmen, I hold them responsible for their carelessness. Because they look out for 100 naira, they neglect the most basic, which is their own security. |
Ah. We must get our drinks, sit down peacefully and watch the political permutations going on now. Atiku, Kwakwanso, El Rufai, Amaechi and co ensured the destruction of PDP in 2014, to foster APC/PMB/BAT, putting citizens into poverty of unimaginable scales. Having lost out in the power play, are they joining forces to push the same APC/PMB/BAT out of power? Well, we must not forget that Tinubu said that not only must you grab power, you must run away with it. Amaechi also said that nobody with power, including him wants to give it up. WILL THEY WREST POWER FROM BAT IN 2027? A proverb says: To give monkey water no be problem. The problem na how to collect the cup back. |
When he was using the same words to chase his own person GEJ away from power in 2014, along with his newly formed APC friendship, you enjoyed it. The same APC called GEJ and PDP all sorts of wrong names. Yeye dey smell. |
It is very strange that PDP leaders have not been able to put their acts together. It is sad to note that room was given for polarization of the party by the leaders. It is sad to note that the likes of Wike are able to boastfully stand with one leg in PDP and the other leg in APC. How the party is not able to disciple such members like Wike is unbelievable. Again, Atiku must not be permitted anymore to continue with his ambition. He has made more than enough effort, starting with the same PDP in 2003, moving over to the defunct ACN and now back to the same PDP, after playing the major role of handing power over to APC on a platter in 2014. He must either be advised to step aside or stop troubling the party. For me the troublers of the party remain Abubakar Atiku and Nyesom Wike. Peter Obi left PDP and contested the Presidency in a party with less national presence, winning over six million votes. Abubakar Atiku and Nyesom Wike can also try their popularity with lesser parties, if they are so sure of themselves. They need to let PDP move forward. |
Knock out punch by Shehu Sani. We were all witnesses to El Rufai’s many years of wickedness with power. Do we want to remember his tenure as the FCT minister? In Kaduna, it was eight years of pure evil. El Rufai should bow his face in shame. |
fineboynl:It is better than not constructing at all. If people like the ex Senator admitted the truth, why stress yourself negatively on social media? |
That’s alright. |
Bookhub:Who is Wendell Smith please? |
Yust imayine d nonsense. Even dook im bia bia. |
Righteousness2:You seem to be confused with your interpretation. How have you not remembered the name “nomerica”? Or do you choose to use it as the occasion demands for you. How have you woken up with joy in your face over what the same “Nomericans” through Donald Trump are doing? |
Such laws on the Federal level must be passed against kidnapping for ransom, terrorism, etc. Hopefully this one passed in Edo state must be speedily applied, as the state and Delta state need such laws. |
LuQuLuQu:E say “long face”. E no say Burna boy. Bros no cause katakata abeg. But if Burna boy go think say na him be “long face”, no be to call Police again be that? |
UltraSolid:Some fellows on this forum make it difficult to interact decently and share knowledge. I believe that the project would be of immense benefit to citizens around Amuwo, Ojo and Badagry. A friend of mine was sick with intestinal twist six years ago around Okokomaiko. Because the little private clinic could not carry out the surgery, he was given an option to be referred to either Badagry General Hospital or Igando General Hospital. Thinking that Badagry would be better, his family chose it and he was taken there. Sadly, the hospital could not do admit him and he lost his life. Igando General Hospital is far better than Badagry General Hospital. With such a project located in Ojo, citizens would benefit from it and surely lives would be saved. Rather than look at the advantage of such a project, the fellow was looking at the negative side. A quick investigation of the fellow would expose him as a crook, while he is quick to label others looters. For me, political leadership must be used as a tool to build infrastructures and make societies and citizens lives better. If we have leaders of such manner that do what we want, irrespective of political parties and affiliations, we must support them. |
Nonybb:Your words expose you as a complete failure in life. Your future is completely bleak and uncontrollably hopeless. Even idiots and your imaginary criminals are far better than you are. |
Vadese1:Off the Mike please. |
GeneralPula:Not correct bro. |
Joe Igbokwe appears to speak from both sides of the mouth these days. What’s happening to him please? By the way, what’s happening to APC? They are the ruling party? They also appear like playing the opposition against themselves and other parties. |
hopexter:Taaa. Close that your nonsense mouth. |
ogolemati:Tinubu single handedly brought Buhari. He said it. Tinubu was the link that Buhari needed to connect the SW. Buhari already had resigned to fate after serial losses and was no longer willing to contest the Presidency after 2011. Tinubu reawakened him. The rest is the experience that Nigerians now have since year 2015. All those Atiku, El Rufai, Amaechi, etc, who have found themselves at the back seats are paying for allowing the same Tinubu help them destroy PDP in 2015. |
