sooper rescue: And you still used super visco 2000? No...changed to dextron 3 pending when I receive the honda ATF-Z1 oil ordered for. I mentioned the oil part so people in my previous position do not get scared condemning their transmission because of the type of oil used. Scan first to know the exact problem before deciding to change the entire transmission or not. |

Contary to what everyone thinks, the scanner was right. Tranny is still very ok. The fault was a shift solenoid B switch that went bad. Solenoid has been replaced at a cost of 20k and car is alright now. For those who find themselves in similar situation, my advise is please scan the car first, if its an electric circuit issue, do not change the transmission. Tha guy who fixed mine is very good with transmission and I would like to recommend him here, his name is Sunday and his mobile number is 08023696673. He is a professional, did my repairs exactly the way I read about it on the internet. Believe me I did extensive research on the issue. Issue has nothing to do AP Visco 2000 oil. Please do not change your transmission until you have it scanned. Thank you 1 Like 1 Share |

Jamal25: Not that they were hard to sell, it was challenging for me because I didn't have a boutique to display them; had to do direct sales & delivery to clients which had high operating cost, highly pruned to credit purchases and meeting individual customer's taste, styles, colors and sizes. At the end of the day had to sell all off at ridiculous prices to boutique owners. The profit is well gained at retail level, at wholesale level its crazy except you have high volume turnover. The business is well managed at retail level, having a boutique is very key. |

Jamal25: Not much though to maximize profit we use local freight handlers because using the big shippers are more expensive though very efficient but not cost effective for now. Cost is about $3.95 per lbs for Air freight with a minimum weight of 25lbs. Our regular handler is Liberty Express based in NY with office in Ikeja. The new handler messing our shipment now is based in Ajao estate. |

Jamal25: hey bro, are you a Nigerian American and if so what state are you from? Where do you buy cheap to resell and how profitable is this business, how many items do you ship per month? I appreciate your response. I'm a Somali American. Am a Nigerian living in Nigeria. I am my friend's contact in Nigeria handling his transactions. My friend has several sources where he source his goods from. Ebay is one of the sources. What we do is he buys from his sources, send directly to me with his prices, I sell and transfer his money back to him. The shipment we are currently waiting for which the clearing agents are messing up is our 7th shipment so far. Previous shipments have always been smooth. We attempted a different shipper this time and trust me we will never use this shipper again. Like I mentioned earlier its important you do your market survey very well, get a trusted contact on ground to do this for you before attempting to buy any products for resale. I wish you good luck in this highly competitive field. |
Phone/Internet Market / Re: Buying Used Phones From USA by eleven(m): 2:22pm On Feb 22, 2013 |
Its a good idea. My friend and I are currently doing it and its quite profitable. But I must warn you there are challenges: 1. Getting buyers here in Nigeria 2. Logistics (Consignment sent since 1st week in February yet to be delivered till now) You need to pray everytime you send consignments 3. Avoid pre-order...clearing agents can really mess you up 4. Understand the Nigeran IT market...the market fluctuates anyhow because its a free for all market. Prices go up and crashes very low without warnings. Demand and supply controls the market prices. 5.Avoid selling on credit or part payments (If you must, never release the good until payment is completed) In all if it pays you its great, if not its one of those things |

Reference to my earlier challenge here: https://www.nairaland.com/1191280/transmission-issues-honda-crv-2002 I figure I could try some DIY since most people I have spoken to believes the transmission is damage and advised I change it. While waiting for the cash to purchase another one...I decided to conduct a research on the error code 0758 - shift solenoid B eletrical circuit report. I found out the symptoms I am experiencing aligns with the symptoms of a bad shift solenoid B valve or switch (not sure if switch or valve is the right name). My challenge now is locating where that switch or valve is located in the vehicle. I have searched widely on the internet without positive result. The best I could come up with is a picture identifying the switch, meanwhile I have searched the car with the help of a mechanic and an electrician using the picture I found on the net...no luck. The closest part we could find in the car that has a brown and black connection looking like that of the shift solenoid picture is called a linear solenoid. The mechanic and electrcian are convinced that's the part but somehow I am not convinced yet. Experts in the house what do you think? These are the pictures: Pix 1 & 2 is shift solenoid A & B while pix 3 is the linear solenoid

OAM4J: @ Shopclue, This is the most sensible analysis I have read so far. You just spoke my mind. Her diversionary tactics wouldn't work this time. Like I mentioned in the other thread, she is foolish, extremely foolish to think she can fool all the people all the time with this her outdated old school tricks. |

Seun: I have posted this thread to the home page because, as I said earlier, Nairaland Forum is committed to exposing scammers & fraudsters. Now this is very good coming from you. Would have preferred this case: https://www.nairaland.com/1173970/scam-alert-omowunmi-allen-pre-order makes the front page rather than this one. Wunmi Allen case aligns more with your statement than this |

onatisi: this woman is very very very smart Disagree. Preying on people's trust is no way near smartness. She is very dumb and foolish. If she was smart she would have done her best to ensure the OP gets his products and timely too. She just missed the opportunity of serving a repeat customer of which the 900k she has stolen now would have been recovered in less than 10 repeat transactions with the OP...You see why she is not smart. Foolishly taunting your customer via email is not an example of smartness, please far from it. She is daring him and she will be surprised with time what an angry man can do. The content of her mails does not make sense...sensible business people don't write that way. They keep it KISS (Keep it short and smart) She is a THIEF and a very foolish one at that. Educated...yes...smart...NO! Please don't confuse the two. 7 Likes |

The lady foolishly believes she has gotten away with this act as usual. No wahala...the world is a very small place and it gets smaller with time. She will be caught soon and all her careless and useless talks will make good evidence against her. @OP...Please do not give up this fight...You are already winning and she knows it. |

sultaan: You have answered your question you just hope someone will come up with a different solution. I always check my engine and gear fluid level atleast once in every 3 days. A day before the incident happened I check the fluid and it was ok. My mechanic used AP Visco 2000 to service the transmission in December. Even when the incident occur and I immediately drain the black oil out, the one I put to manage the car home for repairs also turned black in a less than 30 minutes journey. Since then the gear refused to move. I wish I understood the technical terms used for the codes Naija style... |
