@poster, i read chemistry at d university and am workin wit it right, and earnin a decent income nw so i think i can give my 2cents on this. Chemistry is a non professional course, meaning u re neither here or there. In the pharmaceutical u re second to a pharmacist, in the manufacturin, u re a second to the core engineers, in medical line u re second to the core medical practitioners. Even chemical engineers are soughted to work as chemist in the manufacturin company since they understand the concept of process. The only place where a chemist is a core professional is in the academics. That is where u can be sure of finding utmost relevance. U will be beta of using ur chemistry degree in the academics or usin it as a premedicine or prepharmacy. Follow ur dads advice, trust is judgement, he knws wat he is sayin.

Ajanlekoko, I am suppose to be a management trainee in the quality department of the organization.....since leaving training school, I have not been assigned a single task to compliment this role, instead my daily routine is not differrent from that of a school cert holder, the most degrading, least challenging, and least intellectual responsibility in the department is what I do day in day out.

A friend of mine in a leading multinational corporation presented this topic which I think throws up a lot of controversy. He believes that one doesnt have to be in a very big corporation to have a fantastic career. That taking the first job offered to one, without regard for the role spells a career disaster. I absolutely agree with him, I believe working in a very big company in a role that is not very key in the organization will not only stagnate ones careers, but will definitely mask ones potentials especially when the role does not require special intellectual skills. I personally got two jobs offers. went for the bigger company thinking that the bigger company will jumpstart a very fanstastic career, but alas I was dead wrong, two years down the line I have not attended a single meeting of senior management even for just observation, neither have I been invited for once to do a presentation. I am thinking if I had taken the other job offer in a small firm, my skills would have been felt, and i have would be driving bigger and chanllenging responsiblities which I absolutely crave for...what do you guys think

@poster, I don't work in a bank , but am sure we are going through the same rough sides of life. I work in a cement manufacturing company , it promised so much in the beginin being a multinational. But I tell u I am goin tru emotional trauma as I speak. It seems clear to evryone in the department there is no next level in the company , only if u re connected a post will be given to u dt has never existed. More demoralizing is the fact both skilled and unskilled job is munched up in your daily schedule. As a degree holder, i expected to be using my brain @ wok, bt no way. All my job function is demoralizing, I can tell u that the jobs dished out to me isn't better than that of a labourer in a building site. @ENTERPRO, don't you think twenty signals per day is too much. Too much signals will lead to confusion at the end of the day. It is best to give few quality signals. Guys in the house , I just want to suggest this as regards information sharing in the house. I want to assume a substantial number of us ♓ανε got a bbm fone, or a fone with whatsapp messaging. If this is true, it will be wise for us to use our bbm contact for sharing information. Deaths upon deaths all because of religion. History has a way of repeating itself, christians crusades, muslims jihads all in the name of religion. Those that brought us western and eastern religions have long settled for objectivity, and here we are spilling blood to perpetrate believes that has done more harm than good. I strongly feel for us in this nation, because even the educated ones among us are still veiled with hypocrisy. As long as we continue to rest our objectivity on sentiments, am afraid religion we continue to do more harm to us than good. At this juncture, I extend my heartfelt condolence to the families of the victims both from the church and the reprisal attack.

@samuel kanu, u stated that there was a breakout @ dis point. What's is the implication of this. How often does breakouts occur? How many times does a candle test a price to break out. I feel a beta strategy is to wait for the end of the hour, see if it is a breakout or not..then follow the retracement or the breakout. I haven't tested this , just my opinion. What do you think?
