some wonder at my one trade policy - reason my possibility of loosing 4 trades in a row in a year is like one in a 100

boss, I use one percent on evry trade,and a max of 3 trades running, totally my exposure to 3 percent, if not my account would have been down by 15percent now. I really wanna be a conservative trader, and I hope it stays so

as long as you use a normal lot size you should be safe

I am taking cognizance of risk management, that is the only way i will be arround to trade wen things come back to normal. 4 losing trades and account down by 5percent.

Greatway to start the new year, finally, i think I have a working strategy, thanks to ddfx.Though I hear systems fail over the course of time I hope dis last long enough to make me millions. opening chart dis morning, was shocked most of the pairs have already moved much more than dere average daily range, not even a decent retrace to allow me enter. I might have to wait till later in the day or tommorow. Experience guys, what do u think?

@rosa,i have started using ddfx system jst a week ago and i must confess d result has been amasing. I am still on demo though, been on it since may, plan to demo for a year, tried several strategies with mixed result, bt dis one is sometin else. Straaight to the point, i am havin issues with usin the strategy to trade news, do u change timeframe, do u allow 4hr tf to close , cos i see u re always on 4hr tf.

I think most strategies work during trending markets. Just my newbie observation.

A 0.05 lot size on 200dollar acct is massive. That's definitely more dan 10percent of ur acct if u set a stop of 20pips. 10percent on one trade is highly risky. But really, if one wants to make a living wit 200dollars acct, no choice but to stake such huge amount. Else u will be makin 2dollars profit per trade. Which for sure will nt take anyone home. But really forex no be beans oooo....new bie
