Slowpois0n: Same here man, subscribed 20gb for 7k three weeks ago. Immediately i downloaded iPhone 5c file which is about 1.4gb and a Nexus 4 Android L ROM which is about 500mb plus the little browsing that led to the download page, everything shouldn't be more than 2gb data. Guess what I got when i checked my balance after the downloads were completed?
15gb remaining! Chai! This is robbery in day light. After this one expire, im dumping the goddamn Wifi, and porting to etisalat or mtn.

These guys are thieves, big thieves. Why give false gigabytes or rather mayb its real but they are charging at a ridiculously high rate. I'm so disappointed . Mods pls is it possible for this to get to the front page so we get more Pple's opinion on this.

I have an online biz idea which I have kicked off already, been doing everything alone, financially and otherwise, people are really eager for this service because i get alot of feedbacks from my clients/customers but its not moving at the pace i want it to because I can only do so much. I ve gotten to the point where I need a team, intellectually grounded people that would be a part of it. I need a team of IT, marketing, operations personnel, investors, whatever you can bring to the table for the success of this biz. yes i also understand that the faster the speed, the more it consumes but the max one gets is 2mmbps unlike etisalat which i normally get 3mbps or 4mbps depending on how stable the network is. So whichever way u check it, u find out that either they are under the pretense of actually giving u 20g for 30 days but in the real sense its not upto or their charge per KB is just ridiculously high.

duwdu: Sorry for your experience... One thing you seem not to have mentioned/addressed this far is whether or not you have gotten in touch with their customer service regarding your complaint? I bet some on here would like to know the outcome of that...

pls check you mifi balance it shows what yuu have used, then check the webzsite stats of yuur usage.
somethimes i even get 200-400mb free when i dont renew before expirey date so menh check yuur side proper

etinosa4tver: @ELff, u are not alone. Spectranet said I exhausted my 20G in 2 weeks and I didn't even download or stream anything online. Nobody tell me sha before I port leave them with their fraud and nothing will ever mk me go bk to dem with their bad illiterate customer care officers

that's why i am highly surprised, i don't do YouTube videos or watch anything online, i don't upload large files or download heavy files/movies either, so I honestly cannot comprehend why and how 8g would go down in 9days. while i was using etisalat, i used to share that same 8G with my friend whom stayed with me for a while and it still gets upto 28 or 29 days and that my friend does a lot online then but i still get upto 28days before it runs out. These guys are just fraudsters. I seem to be the only one facing this challenge with spectranet. please nairalanders that use or have used spectranet, are u guys facing same issues?

urhoboman: Are u sure no nigga is palm-wine tapping from ur wifi network? If itz a wifi device u need to change ur password nd watch it for some days. Bt If itz a dongle u have to report to the office u bought it from, mayb they can help u review ur data usage.

Yes I'm sure no one is tapping frm it. @dazekid, I normally use 8g for almost 31days wen I was using etisalat, so how come I'm using same 8g in 9days, there's no logical explanation to it. They probably charge ridiculously per KB , I have no idea inn how to check it, would have done that.

Befor I bought the spectranet mobile WiFi, I used to use etisalat, etisalat was really fast, I was frustrated by Mtn network issues that was why I switched to etisalat. I enjoyed every minute on the network. I used to buy the 8k for 6G and Wld be given a 30percent bonus on the 6G. I usually use this data bundle for almost a mth. Somtimes it runs out at either the 28th or 29th because I'm a heavy browser. So I decided to go for spectranet 20G. In less than a week, spectranet zapped almost 5G.I was shocked and thought Pple were actually tapping from my bandwidth and the reverse was d case. I use almost 8G frm etisalat conveniently for almost a mth and I use same 8g frm spectranet in 9days. It's still the same pages I normally open while using etisalat that I still open on spectranet. Why has spectranet decided to gv false gigabytes just to lure Pple to buy their service.
Pls pardon this my epistle. Pls is anyone experiencing same challenges on the netwk bcus I find it hard to bliv I Wld use 8g in 9days.

Sending regret mails almost 2weeks after sending success mails is just very stupid of them... A group assessment in my opinion is the most stupid method of judging skills, the sole aim of the assessment is meant to be a team work, if everyone contibutes and arrive @ a collectv decision accordn to the scenario given, then I guess that's team work, I wonder what they score on somtyms. Anyway they can't tke everyone sha, better places awaits us.
