Some people here think the war ship should have reached Gambia within a day from leaving it's port. Like a poster above said, they should help the the Nigeria Navy attach rocket busters to the ship since American war ships all have one. |

Meanwhile you better go straight to the police and tell them exactly what happen including the guy in the Facebook because they will surely comeback for you and if they suspect that you know them, they might kill you. Go to the police if you don't want to be killed!!!!!!!!!!! |
Politics › Re: CBN Illegally Funding Buhari’s Government, Says Sanusi by Elhabeeb1(m): 9:25pm On Dec 02, 2016 |
What Emir Sanusi is saying is right to a certain extent, the only problem is I don't know if he is criticising the government for relying on CBN for funding or its inability to improve export to a certain level or by some magic increase the price of crude oil. Yes the government don't have a definite FX policy and it is stock in the middle between total devaluation and flexible exchange rate. Devalue the naira completely without increase in export, functional/adequate refineries and increase local production, and watch as the prices of goods and services skyrocket. Maintain the flexible exchange rate and prices of goods increase significantly but have a some worth stable foreign reserve, lack of confidence by foreign investors. to the best of my knowledge this is what the government is faced with. The question is when is it appropriate for us to see substantial improvement in export, local protection, refinery and agriculture. |

DropShot: One will need to be a complete compound fool, an imbeciile, and a complete mor0n to believe Nigeria, especially under PMb could contribute $500,000,000 towards Hillary Clinton's campaign in America.
Those who believe that story for a second obviously suffer from one of the conditions stated above.
And to even know that the total amount garnered by the Clinton's Campain was less than $600mn makes it ridiculous to claim or insinuate that Nigeria was responsible for $500Mn of it. You will be surprised the kind of people will believe the story, even those in the financial system who usually should know a lot better, you will see them discussing it, very pathetic. |

But how did almost 200girls manage to escape from everyone's radar, where in this entire world can such a thing happen?
How were they feeding, where were they getting their food from? I wonder how they get clothes for them too. You need to educate yourself with what is happening around the world, research on places where insurgency, terrorism, drought and other forms of insecurity is currently taking place. Eg South Sudan, Somalia, Congo, Syria, Niger etc. I am sure if you do that, you will appreciate the release of this girls. |

Politics › Re: Presidency Passes Vote Of Confidence On Emefiele by Elhabeeb1(m): 9:04pm On Oct 09, 2016 |
blueto: Only nitwitted tribal bigots will clamour for the sack/resignation of Emefiele without calling for the resigantion of the certificateless cattle rearer, the same Emefiele that performed excellently under GEJ is now accused of destabilising the economy.
It was the certificateless cattle rearer who intimidated and blocked the Central Bank of Nigeria from performing its statutory duties of independently responding to challenges in the foreign exchange market. By continuously making public statements that Nigeria would not adjust the exchange rate for the naira, it became difficult for the Central Bank to respond without appearing to openly defy the President. The currency market is however determined by demand and supply, not presidential fiat and the President could not sustain his populist attempt to defend the value of the naira and by the time he succumbed to economic reality, substantial damage had already been done.
It is always unwise for presidents to make direct political comments about monetary and foreign exchange policy that are solely within the purview of the Central Bank, because this could undermine the confidence of the apex bank itself and the external confidence in its independence that is an important psychological factor for market players who seek to invest in the economy. If such investors believe that the playing field is not level because political interference could shift the goal posts in an arbitrary manner, the risk of investing in such a market rises in their estimation. http://www.premiumtimesng.com/opinion/editorial/211367-editorial-buhari-helped-nigeria-recession-can-take-us.html
Buhari's antiquated and rash decisions plunged Nigeria into recession. Are you saying the President's body language is suppose to stop the Naira from plunging? Was our economy ripe for recession? Did the previous administration laid the foundation of this recession? How about the fall in our foreign earnings? What about the drop in crude oil export? The depletion of our foreign reserve over the years? Do we even export anything other than Crude oil? Fall in the price of crude oil? The sabotage? The slowdown in economic growth all over the world? Please be reasonable and stop blaming it on the President's body language i.e if you are as good in economic and financial policies as you are trying to make us believe! |
