QuotaSystem: Ndigbo Hail Buhari Over Ministerial Portfolios
Ndigbo Cultural Society of Nigeria (NCSN) has congratulated President Muhammadu Buhari for appointing Ndigbo with worthy ministerial portfolios which complements the recent appointments of federal permanent secretaries. The group noted that the recent appointments by Buhari indicated that the president is beginning to correct the earlier alleged posture of sectionalism.
We urge our ambassadors in the President Buhari administration to give their best to the nation and mankind, even though the economic fortunes of the country was at all time low, we expect our ambassadors to be shining lights at this dark end of the tunnel. “While we commend President Muhammadu Buhari,we also encourage him to still take a giant step forward and ensure that an Igbo is appointed into the six principal offices of the nation, possibly the position of the Secretary to the Federal Government (SGF), which will help Igbo leaders convince their kits and kin that no region is left behind in this government,” the group further stated. “Ndigbo Cultural Society of Nigeria (NCSN) would also like to plead with our people seeking self-determination to understand that, sometimes, your worst enemy could be your best friend and, therefore, for the avoidance of doubt, give President Muhammadu Buhari a chance to prove himself a friend or foe,” it concluded.

Career › Re: How I Got Belittled By My Boss... by Elizabethoni(f): 7:50pm On Nov 12, 2015 |
SSpeter: I felt breaking my boss head after he made some derogatory comments that got me angry and belittled.....
Yesterday a colleague and I went to take measurements of a bank for renovation works in one of the tertiary institution in ogun state. My colleague been the senior was given the full details and equipment needed. When we got to ogun state, he gave me the equipment (tape and camera) and asked me if I could do it that he has a babe in the school. I said yes and he gave me extra 3k I guess that was to shut me up.
After taking the measurement of the floor area in the banking hall and other adjoining spaces, I took pictures of the tiles and ceilings just to show my boss that they were in a very poor state. When I got back home I used my computer to scale the measurements and then redesigned the banking hall.
The main aim of the renovation was to increase the number of cubicles in the banking hall from 3 to 7. Today when I got to the office, I gave my boss the report and showed the the proposed design I made, he said "Great". During critic session I was surprised that the initial drawing was brought out and he was redoing the design. Well I no talk, I watched until he was done instructing the architect. Then I compared his proposed design with mine and I quickly pointed out to him that he has used up much space for circulation moreover our cubicle spatial analysis is till the same.
He called me Peter!!! ....what year were you born I told him, he said that was the year I started this company. If you have things in your head keep it. When you establish your firm, use it. Na so everybody dey look me like say I shit for body. See me wey for just keep quite....If it were to be somewhere else, Na orijin bottle I for arrange untop him head...............that is why I keep praying for a multinational firm....abeg make I quickly go check my shell application status.... Working in a one man business is what I don't pray for someone with my own experience...those one man biz ogas are silly I swear!!! If they don't insult u everytime, they harrass u by saying'i will sack, I will sack u".. During my trying period working in a one man biz,a lawyer for that matter,i had to quit the job myself Cos I couldn't stand him,he begged for me to come back but I told him I would come back only if he increases my salary X2..which I know he wouldnt...hahaha ..Although it wasn't easy cos I was jobless for a year and eight months sha ,all the offers I got were not what I wanted but kept trusting God for a multinational company..and God was faithful and answered my prayers!!! So keep trusting and applying and no keep am to urself,u never know who can help... |

Family › Re: My Marriage Is Crashing, I Think I Hate Him...Help by Elizabethoni(f): 11:46pm On Oct 23, 2015 |
90love: I've dated my husband for 5years but only traditionally married for 5 months. For most of our relationship we have had financial difficulty but always manage to keep our head above water.
I'm pregnant and have gestational diabetes meaning sometimes i get very weak so I've been unable to work properly, I am also a final year nursing student. The truth is 80% of the time it's me that bail us out of bad financial crises, my husband has not been able to keep a stable job for as long as I've known him and when he gets his fast money he lavishes it, he doesnt think of the home rather he thinks of clubbing, drinking etc. I never look into his pockets as i think its rude to count people's money but the minute he swindlea his money away he starts to count my money to fund his things such as petrol, club, hosting his family coming from nigeria.
And he has 5 sisters, his young ones are very ill mannered dont do house work or even say good morning. They all take turns throughout the year to come to my house and spend 2weeks to one month Including his mother though i can't complain about her because she's his mother even if she was the worst i can manage her.
None of the above has really bothered me until i came to the realisation that im going to be a mother in less than 18 weeks and i have someone else to care for that is more important. I'm starting to think this man doesn't really love me because when i was terribly sick before finding out about my low iron and diabetes i couldnt get out of bed but he never checked on me instead he would spend all evening and night out with friends and all day sleeping, watching tv and looking for quick money.
I decided to return to my parents and have been here for 2+ months. I am properly looked after and it's only 20minutes away, my so called husband never calls to check on me, he has only initiated phone calls twice and he's asked me for money both times for one thing or another. He has never called my parents to greet them or thank them, it's like he abandoned his responsibility, he openly tells me not to come back because he can't cope with my illnesses.
He's very dissmissive and uncaring but he is also like that with his own family. He never calls them. They're always begging him to call them or i beg him to at least call his mum. I always blame his upbringing because he grew up very entitled with everything handed to him, he doesnt know the value of hard work.
Now we're in a major financial crises because he decided to leave his job. We can't pay the house rent and i have no way of bailing us out because i haven't been active at work due to sickness. I have been looking for a way out but he can't even hold a conversation with me about it. The minute i say something about our current finances, he starts threatening me to switch off the phone and raises his voice (i equally raise mine I'm not innocent because I've had enough) I'm so fed up of him and even the marriage. I don't see how he can ever grow up and i feel like im dragging a dead horse.
Whenever there's crises he becomes very mean and he can't cope, I'm always the strong one and have to find money just so he can be nice to me, which sounds pathetic. He comes from a very good home but blames all his emotional problems on not having his dad in his life but i am not excited to see the kind of dad he will be for his own child. I feel like i made a mistake marrying him. I have been as supportive as i can be, i dont rub things in his face, i always try and maintain a happy home but I've had enough! How do you fix a situation where you don't respect your husband anymore? I don't believe he deserves my respect apart from him being a financial burden, he's also a serial womaniser i just got tired of doing csi so i turn the other way. I am so fed up and spiraling into deppression the disappointment to both of our families will be huge I've never imagined having a child in a broken home. If this is worth fixing i dont know where to start because my heart is resenting him. How do i explain to people that im leaving my husband of only 5 months?!!! Sis! 5years is long enough to know your man! You've made a mistake by marrying this guy already and the sad truth is you need to give him a space by leaving him! I dated a guy for 5yrs and decided it was over on the 5th year because of the traits I saw in him that I do no really want in my husband. I'm not regreting I did that till now. Leave this guy! Marrying him is not by force! He's not responsible! It's even a good thing you're not in 9ja,makes it easier for you. It's your life and no one else's,focus on your health and baby and fight for your life not one useless guy who will sharply move on if u take your last breathe today(God forbid). It is well with you in Jesus'Name |

Romance › Re: The Trick I Used On My Girlfriend In Order To Know She's Been Cheating On Me by Elizabethoni(f): 12:40am On Oct 15, 2015 |
emmboy: I was having a feeling that my girlfriend was cheating on me. I tried asking her on different occasions but she maintained she wasn't. I thought she might wanna open up to me but I thought wrong.
I've been telling her to go for an HIV test long before all these, of which she promises to go for it but she ends up giving me so many excuses why she couldn't, like being busy and all that.
So this particular night she came over to my place and we started talking, I asked her again if she was having an affair with someone else but she denied again. I needed to know because I didn't want to waste my time with anyone, I wanted to know so that I could know where to place her.
So I told her I'd gone for my own HIV test, and she needed to go for hers as well. She wanted to know the result of my test but I told her never to mind cos I won't and if she's lucky enough, hers might just be different from mine, knowing we've had it raw too many times.
I think she got struck by the cord, so she started pestering me and begging me in fear to show her my result, but I refused blatantly. I stylishly told her she's really done so much in my life by changing me to whom I am and preparing me for what I wasn't ever prepared for.
She thought I was HIV positive, I was putting her on her toes cos I didn't come out clear, then I asked her who she's been sleeping with apart from me. I begged her for the truth this time, that telling me the truth is the only thing that will make me show her my result. That was when she started crying, telling me how she got pushed by friends to dating this guy, not only that, she's been having unprotected sex with this same guy and at the same time with me.
I didn't see the writing on the wall at all so all these was so surprising to me. After telling me all that, I told her I'd not done any test, and I'm grateful I know the truth now and the truth has set me free.
I dumped her sorry ass cos no amount of pleas could change my heart. A couple of weeks after, I did my HIV test, with my heart buried in my lungs, but thank God I'm negative and I'm not gonna screw this second chance I've got.
So pls readers, no girl is worth the raw no matter how much you feel you trust her. And also, checking your HIV status is the only way to know you are positive cos before then I thought I was cos of so many symptoms I used to have but surprisingly, after knowing I am negative, all the symptoms stopped. Thanks for taking your time to read. Have a nice day. Ure luckyy, congrats! At the same time ure negative now doesn't mean ure negative, go fot another in 3-6mths time...my candid advise |

This is a man that vowed to clear BH in two months but more thab 4months we see no success. I will continue to maintain that Buhari and APC are unfit for leadership and are bent Ón putting Nigerians through pains and mournings with their deliberate misgovernance and acute cluelessness to issues affecting Nigerians. Nigeria bleed under this administration.

HungerBAD: There is something fishy about this whole kidnap thing.
I do agree he was kidnapped, but the intelligence and how this whole operation was carried out, to me seems more sophisticated than what a fulani cattle handler can pull.
The phoning.
The every 4 hours tactical maneuvers.
The way the ransom was paid.
How he was dropped off at Owo.
Everything shows an organized setting here, that goes beyond people, who ordinarily are nomads. Hmmm, don't be surprised Boko Haram leaders/organisers are smart and educated people, scientist sef!(they make those local bombs (in containers),themselves...Boko haram members are not those carrying guns and suicide bombers alone ooo...they have members back stage...no be me talk am ooo* |
